an unseen force makes the difference

Ever wonder what draws people to purposely overturn the apple cart being the status quo? When they could easily live a life of supposedly comfort, success and be admired by the combined hierarchy of their times.

One such person was, John Wycliffe, who was an English scholastic philosopher, biblical enthusiast and a seminary priest at the prestigious University of Oxford.

Instead Wycliffe became an influential dissident priest within the Roman Catholic church during the 14th century. And became an admired inspirational predecessor to many church reformers like Martin Luther, Jan Hus and scores of others reaching us today.

It’s reported that he died from a stroke, 31 December 1384. More fortunate than many of his constituents, who were burned alive tied to a metal pole. And in some instances it’s reported that the flames were controlled so as to extend the torturous death.

Why the risk? Perhaps it’s this fortuitous prayer that made the difference between themselves, and many who go the way of the status quo. Some are able to tap into a spiritual force unknown to most. Producing astounding results for the betterment of the then now and deep into the future.

Make the following your earnest Prayer: May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation through the knowledge of Him. That the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened to know what is the purpose of His calling. Through the riches of His glory in His inheritance of the saints. Amen. (cp. Ephesians 1:17-18).

That’s the Christ way to make His enemies His footstool. One of the great lessons that must be learned, understood and applied. If America, is to be saved from itself! (cp. Matthew 22:41-44).

American survival will only occur, if verse 44, is forcibly applied spiritually. It has nothing to do with mundane affairs. But everything to do with Christ, making mundane affairs His footstool.

over coming stephen king

“We lie best, when we lie to ourselves,” Stephen King.

Yep! King got it right. It’s the lie most tell themselves that there is no hell or heaven. Any after life experience is nothing more than ones in ability to except finality. Death ends all awareness about everything.

Such reasoning can only be proven absurd by experience while we are still absent the grave yard.

So, I’m forced to share some of my experiences. I was very angry, my mother had been murdered. I wasn’t interested in religion. Hate, and violence became my forte. There’s no telling where all that would have led me, had it not been for an unwanted and unexpected happening. I was given a book by the late, Billy Graham. I read the book, and found myself on my knees. Acknowledging myself as a sinner and accepting Jesus as my Savior.

The next morning I realized that something unexplainable had occurred. Plain and simple, I was very different from the person I was yesterday. After months of searching the Bible trying to discover what happened to me. Bingo, before my very eyes were the words explaining what had happened to me. “Therefore if any person is in Christ, they have become a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (cp. 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Later I discovered this recording, Said Esaias, “I was found of them that sought me not, I was made manifest to them that asked not of Me.” (cp. Romans 10:20).

That also had been my experience. Having no church experience and rather isolated from normality. Studying the scriptures became my forte. This scripture has long intrigued me. “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined He also called, whom He called, these He also justified, and whom He justified, these He glorified.” And, “Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will.” (cp. Romans 8:29-30; Ephesians 1:5, 11).

One last expression. As an infant child, I was told that I’d become a priest. Having had numerous angelic experiences this scripture is very meaningful to me. “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who will inherit salvation.” (cp. Hebrews 1:14).

hoax or not

“Show me a man or a woman alone, and I’ll show you a saint. Give me two, and they’ll fall in love. Give me three and they’ll make the charming thing we call society. Give me four and they’ll build a pyramid. Give me five and they’ll be one an outcast. Give me six and they’ll reinvent prejudice. Give me seven and in seven years they’ll reinvent warfare. Man may have been made in the image of God, but human society was made in the image of His opposite number, and is always trying to get back home,” Stephen King.

Making sense out of, Kings, cynicism of human behavior. “And I will put mutual hate between you and the woman, between your seed and her seed. He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel,” Genesis 3:15.

Now the Biblical critique which has no cynicism. I will put enmity (meaning mutual hate) between you (Lucifer) and the woman (mother of humanity, Eve) and between your seed (natural propensity for evil at birth) and her seed (conflicted by what good represents, the will of God, Genesis 3:5), He shall bruise your head (because of the choice the parents of humanity made. Evil will dominate but with a bruised heel, allowing good to conquer evil as shown) and you shall bruise his heel.

Telling us that we can be changed, and through that change, we can change our world. Because, “Insomuch as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” (cp. Hebrews 2:14).

All the aforementioned raises some very interesting perspectives. For instance we are told that God created man in His own image. He created Adam and Eve male and female. He blessed them and gave them global dominance over every living thing. (cp, Genesis 1:27-30).

After Adam and Eve sinned, most likely, that’s when they lost their likeness with God. It’s being suggested that they were people absent flesh and blood. Support for such a notion is substantiated by what is said in Hebrews 2:14, “He Himself shared in the same.” Flesh, and blood is what eventually kills we humans.

Jesus speaking said, “Behold My hands and and My Feet, that it is Myself. Handel Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” (cp. Luke 24:39).

Absent flesh, bones and blood, Adam and Eve were spirit beings with superior intellects. Because they were created in the image of God. They were given the responsibility of managing our somewhat global sphere, as it navigates itself on its axis. Which also magnifies and glorifies our Creator. Now think about this, our earth circumference measures 40,075 km or 24,920 mi. How would it be possible, for Adam and Eve to subdue and manage such a huge global body? By instant thought to any location on earth just by willing it.

Such a scenario is seen through John 20:19, Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews. Suddenly, Jesus came, and stood in there midst, and said, “Peace be with you.”

Sealing this hypothesis, and after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors were shut, and stood in there midst, and said, “Peace be with you!” (cp. John 20:26).

These are turbulent times with only one promise these times will get worse. The new normal isn’t a cliche. It’s an unintended warning. It’s just the beginning of trouble.

Those of us, who are a part of the Christ family have an unimaginable future. Which for, this writer is of great consolation.

Someday no matter how it occurs, the secure in Christ will have a body like His resurrected body. Think of that time and space travel instantaneously. Perfect judgment, superior intellects, absent flesh, bones and flesh. Which served to alienate us from our Creator. Perfectly illustrated by death. A phenomenon which has no cure, apart from Jesus. Which gives real insights into His words, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly!” (cp. John 10:10b).

The beauty of it all, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who will transform our lowly body that it may be transformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” (cp. Philippians 3:20-21).

a trail of hope

“Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of all things, and no good thing ever dies,” Stephen King, Shawshank Redemption.

“But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance,” Apostle Paul.

Paul went on to define hope as a matter of faith. And ties it together with eagerness. “Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hope and faith are interchangeable nouns, and nouns can qualify events. Hope is rooted through faith. For it is recorded, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for those who hope must believe that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Those outside of the Christ redemptive experience must rely upon circumstances for hope to occur. But those having experienced the blood sacrifice redemption of Christ, rely upon faith to bring their hope to reality.

But not always, as hope wishers want. For Paul wrote again, “Now He, who searches the heart knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intersession for the saints according to the will of God.” In other words, what one hopes for by faith may not be in ones best interest. And when hope, and faith, don’t materialize. Perhaps some soul searching is in order to determine ones motives.

world solutions

The glitter, and merry making of a season called Christmas is behind us. And unfortunately, most of the American population missed its true significance. And that’s a tragedy beyond comprehension, again for most.

Because most Americans, unwitting fails to understand that unto us, God entrusted world stability to we Americans. How? By making the fundamental truths of Christendom recognizable to our neighbors around the globe.

Truth is learned, experience and seen in sundry ways. Take the brewing crisis between Pakistan and India that could erupt into devastating deadly consequences considering both are nuclear powers. For unknown reasons to them and most wherever a crisis erupts the combatants look to the Unites States for diplomatic resolution. it’s esoterically instilled in them. It’s understanding is Holy Spirit gifted, for all who are participants in what is to follow.

And this it, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (cp. Matthew 5:14). Contained within that expression are two factors that can’t be explained through human analogy. Which is the reason why people are drawn to the United States through our immigration process. And why the world community looks to the United States for resolution of problems and global stability.

Modernism denies the fundamental truths of Christianity that allows the aforementioned to occur. We believers express it as the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the Eternal Word, (cp. John 1:1), who became flesh, (cp. John 1:14), who then took upon himself humanities burdens, and those burdens are reduced to one word sin, and then committed to His followers to make His presence known. And, that is the art of problem resolution, for individuals and the world community, (cp. 2 Corinthians 5:18).

And when, all is said and done, that is the meaning and purpose of Christmas.

insight into the unfimular

Wisdom for the ages discovered by the few, but needed by the many. For example, it’s recorded, “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.” One might wonder how can one know whether or not one is led by His Spirit?

For this Padre, it often works as follows. The memorization of scriptures. Life presents itself with frustrating occurrences. Like the inability to accomplish during the course of the day what one wants to accomplish. Causing one to become angry though it might not be noticeable to others. It’s an inner rage that must and will express itself. The Bible records these words, “They who are slow to anger are better than the mighty. And they, who rules their spirit better than those who take a city.” See Proverbs 16:32. Meaning when one encounters one of those frustrations an appropriate scripture come to ones mind. Settling one down with a soothing inner peace. Such experiences can’t be processed  intellectually. It must be processed spiritually.

Y knowing not is dangerous

Some say what you don’t know will not kill you. Well they are wrong because what you don’t know, not only could, but will kill you. To a degree a metaphor was tossed your way.

Foreigners known as Muslims have diseased the sacredness of the United States. With one intention which is to kill everything that isn’t Islamic. So in reality, what you don’t know will kill you. Because a Muslim America will look very different from our Judeo-Christian America.

Our heritage is worth defending to the very death by those who will say, give me Christ, or give me death. So here are a few things that you need to know, so that your knowing will give you life. Life beyond your days reaching the future through your lineage.

To accomplish this requires a journey into the book of Revelation, chapter five. A book filled with symbols and drama requiring a back and forth knowledge of both the Old and New Testaments. Even with that some of the symbols are open to speculation.

But not the following, take for example the imagery of the slain Lamb. Referring to Jesus Christ, who was murdered in order to redeem us by His split blood, verse nine. Also the explicit acknowledgment, that the gospel of Jesus Christ has universal implications for every tongue, people and nation. And what is happening today will result in a most glorious supernatural experience, verse 10.

Then note the imagery of the slain Lamb having seven horns and seven eyes. That suggest that the slain Lamb is of superior power with nothing escaping His understanding. Perfect in power, knowledge and insight, verse 6. The Bright Morning Star of Revelation 22:16, who is able to light our way. In our effort to keep America safe from Islam. With healing in his wings connected with Malachi 4:2 with its implicit tie to Matthew 1:21. More imagery for those, who place their trust in Him.

For that is the essences of our Judeo-Christian heritage, picturesque of the seven of the seven Spirits of God (vs.6) sent forth into all the world. To Christianize it against all of God’s enemies. Because you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins, Matthew 1:21.

It has been said by world policy makers at various stages of history. That we are involved in a struggle over ideas. And that those, whose ideas prevail will shape human destiny. Such utterances are usually presented as secular arguments. Which is why, the world is in such a mess.

In truth, all of history has been, and will continue to be a struggle for the souls of humanity. And who ever wins that struggle of ideas will shape and determine human destiny. Or to put it in a supernatural context our Judeo-Christian association with God’s will.

But those who call themselves Jews and Christians face an enormous challenge. Because, our ideas for the governing of a nation are not only being challenged by Muslims. The nations non-Jewish and non-Christian communities have their own set of ideas for the governing of the nation. And they have had pretty much their own way in creating a nation without the values of our once well established Judeo-Christian values. It’s just been made worse since the Muslim community in America provided shelter for those Muslims, who launched their aerial attack upon us on 9/11/01.

We’ll be mourning, and acknowledging their unprovoked attack forever. Americans patriots need to go out of there way to let them know that they are not welcome in America. It’s not only because of 9/11 but because of their repeated attacks over the last decade. Costing the nation precious lives and billions in creating defensive measures necessary to protect us from those Muslims. who dwell among us. Muslims are the enemy of every thing American.

Christendom needs to anchor our traditions with our Jewish brethren. Because in the truest sense of the expression, we are one through Jesus Christ.  And the struggle over ideas by Muslims, and secularists is about destroying that bond. The prize being the heart and soul of the people and thus the nation.

So here is the biblical foundation to support the anchoring of Christian-Jewish bonds and traditions. Revelation 5:4-5, finds John weeping because no one was found worthy to open the book, or even look at the book. But John was told not to weep because one was found worthy. The one worthy was the “Lion of the tribe of Judah,” the “Root of David. Which is an explicit reference to one of the greatest mysteries in the Bible, unexplainable by human logic. Here we are presented with the duality of Jesus Christ. His human ancestry came about through Israel. With his divinity occurring through the “Root of David.” Which establishes His credentials as being fully human, while at same time being God.

This mystery has begged for a logical explanation of how this could be possible. There is no human explanation but there is a biblical one. It’s found in Revelation 19:11-12, where the Faithful and True, who in righteousness judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire. On His head were many crowns. A name was written that no man knew, but He Himself. Verse 13, “and His name was called the Word of God.” The duality of His humanity came from verse 12, a mystery known only to Jesus Christ. Suffice for our knowledge is that He is the “Word of God.” But the book of Revelation closes with Jesus highlighting His divinity and humanity. Saying, “I Jesus, have sent you My angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, ‘I am the root and offspring of David …,” Revelation 22:16.

That is how we Jews and Christians are made one through God. It’s a heritage that we refer to as our Judeo-Christian traditions. Where God made His divinity human through Israel while preserving His divinity by His own declaration as being the offspring of David. A mystery not humanly understandable while fully known by the slain Lamb. It’s also how two peoples Jews and Gentiles with completely different blood lines become one humanly through the ancestry of Israel. Then divinely made one through the Jesus Christ the root of David. A mystery, again only completely understandable by Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). Who through the providence of time sent his angel to announce, “And she shall bring forth a son, you you shall call His name Jesus, for he shall save his people from their sins,” Matthew 1:21. And it’s the provision of divine providence that allows Jew, and Gentile to become one through supernatural intervention.

The Bible is as mysterious, as it is glorious with its revelations. We accept its mysteries, as the divine wisdom of God for our best interest. While marveling at its revelations because they show us how to know, serve and defend what He has destined us to be.

With this having been a discussion about the mysteries and how they intersect with humanity. For those determined to know more, and willing to defend what you already know. The learning, and the defending can occur by engaging this padre in such endeavors. Found through the Contact Us link on my Home page.

garbage abounds

Jews, and Christians must strengthen their bonds. Because, as time wraps down to that terrible day of the Lord. A time, when this age concludes and a new age will take its place.

The worlds anger will grow against both Jews and Christians. Because, innately earthlings sense that an unseen force is somehow a part of Judaism and Christendom. Consequently, they blame them for the worlds brokenness. With another invisible force being behind the global push back, and thus, mushrooming insanity.

How many can interpret what is being discussed. A few maybe! If the imagery was owned by the populace, then the hoot and howling would restore sanity to a broken world. So when, all is said, and done its Judaism and Christendom who hold the keys to individual and global sanity.

This discussions opens up the possibility for provocative dialogues. Arrangements for such dialogues made through the Contact Us link on my Home page. Living room conversations work well, as do, other forums where people can gather.

harlotry what the hell is that

Remember someone saying, “The old way is the better way?” With some shrugging it off, by saying, yea! But what about this, as they produce the latest gadget that will propel them around the globe with the tip of their fingers or with a pointer.

Well here’s a ancient opinion sure to get you everything while still giving you nothing. Penned 8 centuries BC by a guy who said, they will not direct their deeds meaning lifestyles by divine order because it’s old fashion. Refusing to do the God thing because the spirit of gadgetry is so overwhelming. Harlotry (meaning unacceptable behaviors) is in the midst of them which does not allow them to know the LORD.

That’s the old but it always comes around as the newest gadget. Then comes along this guy nearly 60 years after the birth of Christ. Telling us, this is the gadget you really want because it never gets old, just better. Putting it this way, therefore; if any person is in Christ, they are new creations. Old things are passed away, BEHOLD! All things are new.

Encounters with the supernatural making it work

In that so much has been said about the purposeful life, why not let the scriptures speak for themselves about the purposeful life. After all they are of a supernatural origin, far over stepping the Greek goddess Nemesis. Who played a duel roll in Greek mythology, and is seen as the goddess retribution and justice. Often inflicting vengeance upon a seemingly formidable and victorious rival. But Nemesis, whose name means dispenser of dues seemed to have had a flare for love. Dispensing her dues upon people, who acted with seemingly impunity by disrupting love relationships.

So it is with the scriptures, for they reveal a duel role too. But there is a difference between the mythology of Nemesis and our scriptures. From the scriptures, Christians are the agents of retribution and justice. With a far more formidable foe, as pictured in Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

But Christians should also have a flare for love of Him. Dispensing God’s dues upon those who would act with seemingly impunity disrupting God’s relationship with His bride.

Christians are the bride of Christ as presented in Isaiah 54:5, “For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of hosts is His name; and our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. The God of the whole earth shall He be called.”

From there Christians move on to fight the principalities, powers, darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. Offering retribution, and justice in the form of vengeance against a seemingly formidable and victorious foes. Because those powers have violated God’s love relationship with His people. Therefore, in a real since, Christians are His dispensers of dues. Because of 2 Corinthians 5:15, “And that he died for all, that they who live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him, who died for them and rose again.”

John 3:8, “The wind blows where it will and you hear the sound of it, but can not tell from where it came, and where it goes; so is everyone born of the Spirit.” While here Jesus was talking about the born again experience, that profound supernatural experience that unifies flesh and blood with God. That supernatural experience that leaves humanity like Nicodemus asking, “How can these things be?” John 3:9. But once experienced, one might ask, how can this be. Because ones whole being experiences the following, “Therefore if anyone be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new,” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

So it is with the purposeful life, designed by the Spirit of God, when discovered by the individual like as the wind blows. Not always being able to determine how ones calling to the service of Christ came about and not knowing where that service will propel one. Only knowing that somehow, one is God’s vessel for His dispenser of dues. And that is the final word on the purposeful life, as determined by the scriptures. And that is how this discussion came about, designed to be a vessel. Helping the brides of Christ find their supernatural purpose like as the wind blows.

Pursue the supernatural experience, in a modern ungodly world. It’s the way of spiritual fullness in and through Jesus. And perhaps, the sparing of America a little longer before the wrath of God visits her.

Now to Him, who is able to keep us from stumbling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. To God our Savior, who only is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion, and power, both now and forever. Amen! See Jude 24-25.

Supernatural weaponry at our dispossal

Jesus referred to burdens as gifts from God. “Come into me, all who labor and are heavy laden (burdened), and I will give you rest. Take my yoke (way) upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, (humility a spiritual necessity) and you shall find rest for your souls. The conquest of all, ‘rest’ but it can not be found through gimmicks and gadgets peddled by religious profiteers. For my yoke (way) is easy, and my burden is light,” Matthew 11:28-30. And once refreshed by the rest Christ give, you’ll want to share the aspects of the Christ way. Maybe like the twelfth century Friar Saint Frances of Assisi, who counseled, “Go forth and preach the gospel; if necessary use words.”

A life changed by Christ is driven by desire to share ones transformation. But some are shy, and reserved by nature. And so, they shrink from such efforts, and develop feelings of unworthiness as Christians. Here is how to overcome such situations, and teach the Christ way, by implementing Frances’ wise counsel. It is done by how we conduct ourselves in the presences of others. God can, and does use our silence like the breeze from the wind. Note the following, “The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but can not tell from where it came, and where it goes; so is everyone born of the Spirit,” John 3:8. Because if Jesus is lifted up by our behavior, as He was through His crucifixion, it allows the following to occur. “And if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me,” John 12:32. Such power, such majesty, such beauty, it should cause all the saints to praise God. Because, “Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no person comes unto the Father, but by Me,” John 14:6. For in essences, those of us born by the Spirit of Christ become the WORD of GOD. Think upon, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “What? Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and your Spirit which is God’s.” Therefore in ones silence, the WORD of GOD, whispers to others like the wind in ways beyond human comprehension. Live the life, and preach the gospel; if necessary use words.

Why does this thing plague many

They say failure isn’t falling down, it’s staying down. There are all kinds of motivational speakers on the circuit giving speeches and writing books on how to overcome the falling down and staying down syndrome’s of life.

With all kinds of euphemisms used like the following to accomplish the not giving up attitude. “Come on boy! Pull up your pants and get on with it!” Infamous words from a D.I. during boot camp. Or no pain no gain! How about, when the going gets tough the tough get going. Or what Studs Terkel used to say, “Ordinary people are capable of extraordinary things.”

Including these words from a World War 11 general, who knew a lot about falling done and not staying down. And often barked! “Champions are made to overcome adversity,” General G.S. Patton.

But perhaps the best of them all are the words from Helen Keller, who became the first deaf and blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Who must have known an awful lot about falling down, and getting up. Who recognized this sterling trait in herself, and passed it on to us. “The world is not only moved by the mighty shoves of the heroes, but by the collective pushes by honest people.”

As good as all the aforementioned are, for me it falls short, and maybe for you too. With some struggles, how many times can one fall down and get up? No real way to know is there? But this is what gets me up and keeps me going because it goes beyond human efforts and determination. It’s the encouragement Moses gave to Joshua, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear or be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you,” Deuteronomy 31:6.

For Joshua, it was the taking control of Palestine. A battle for Israel that has seen it’s ups and downs through the centuries. And is today a global epoch of attention. As the Arab/Muslim community promises to return Palestine to its wrongful inhabitants, absent a Jewish presences.

For me, Deuteronomy 31:6, is central because the Islamic world is determined to rearrange the world community after an Islamic image, absent a Jewish/Christian image. That is what all that Arab/Muslim violence all over the world is about. So simple to understand but most have fallen down and just can’t get up. Deciding that coexistence is the solution. The problem is that coexistence for Muslims means to acquiescence to Islam.

But others may know the getting up from other perspectives like Deuteronomy 31:6. It’s just as applicable today in helping you avoid staying down. Several sterling jewels were shared with this discussion from people who knew something about not staying down. But beside Deuteronomy 31:6, we of Christendom have this jewel to add to our collective ability for not to stay down. Which is a first hand source, and not passed on from some mere mortal like Moses to Joshua. But from Jesus Christ himself, who said, “The things that are impossible with man are possible with God,” Luke 18:27. Jesus must take the lead and we follow. Most have their down episodes. just get up! And take your coat off, roll your sleeves, and start doing what you either need to be doing or want to do. And let the Word be your leader. Everyone can succeed because as we often sing, “The Bible Told Me So.” Blessed by getting up and getting on with it.

A shared jewel that has served me well. It’s the last thing that I utter to God upon my bed. The first utterance upon getting up and repeated constantly during the day. Which is, “Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man,” Psalms 119:133-134. It’ll serve you well, also. Know this, the Word is Jesus, Revelation 19:13. And the vesture dipped in blood is his body, John 1:1,14.

Secrets of revolutionaries

There was a German theologian, who opposed Adolf Hitler, and it cost him his life. That theologian was Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer, and the Lutheran church debated the evils of Nazism. Bonhoeffer used the following analogy concerning Hitler. “If I see a madman driving into a group of innocent bystanders, than I can’t, as a Christian simply wait for the catastrophe and than comfort the wounded and bury the dead. I must try and wrestle the steering wheel out of the hands of the driver.” Dietrich went under ground, and helped plot the failed attempt to assassinate Hitler. Bonhoeffer became the inspiration for the doctrine of situational ethics. In short, each situation dictates the proper ethical response.

Think about Bonhoeffer’s analogy, as it applies to the various conditions, that threaten this nation. While many such conditions exist, three will be mentioned. First, and foremost the need to preach the life changing gospel. To a nation of people, who are increasingly turning away from God’s edicts. In America today, people are being denied freedom of speech to use the name of Jesus in public forums. They include teenagers in their public schools. To Christian ministers, who are told to use political correct expressions like God. If they insist on keeping the name Jesus in their public speeches; they are removed from the program.

Followed by the threat Muslims, in this country present to American values. Islam is evil! Both Moses and Paul knew Islam for what it represents. Moses said, Muslims are terrorists; note, Genesis 16:11-12. Paul said, get rid of Muslims; note, Galatians 4:28-31. In verse 30, the bondwoman is Hagar. She is the mother of Islam. Her son son is Ishmael through whom Muslims trace the lineage back to Abraham. Isaac is the child of promise destined to inherit the promises God made to Abraham. And from those promises made to Abraham came Jacob to Christ. Paul in verse 29 records forever world terror, note, But as he, who was born according to the flesh the persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. Today notably Jews and Christians. With anti-semitism increasing exponentially globally, and Christians being tagged as hate mongers and in some instances terrorists.

Followed by the greed of the nations corporate conglomerates. Led by the picture perfect magnets of Wall Street. Where the stock market is the god to worship earning billions for the few. While many Americans are drowning for lack of sufficient monies needed to survive. What can we expect from profiteering beyond the stock market? The same! As they swindle American consumers with faulty products and failing workmanship. While far to many hard working American’s, can’t keep up with the spiraling out of control thirst for profits. Most likely, in the BILLIONS, no matter whom they hurt. Or what they destroy, even the nation itself.

An able response to such situations is found through the doctrine of liberation theology. A doctrine that composed a part of Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s theology. Liberation theology is about the practical aspects of Christianity. The problems that confront people every day. We do not concentrate on those doctrines that do not have an every day application to daily living.

This discussion concerns the doctrine of the Resurrection of Christ. The Center piece of Christian teaching. Jesus said to Martha. I am the resurrection and the life. They that believe in me, though they were dead, yet shall they live, John 11:25. To some that verse represents some future event. As liberation theologians, we relish that glorious future occurrence, but it also has a more practical value and meaning. Whatever cause a Christian is engaged in someone will be inspired by your effort to carry on the mission. Regardless of what happens to message bearer. The service we render for Christ, can never be silenced or defeated.

The practical aspects of the resurrection are amplified in Matthew 13:24-30. It’s the well known story told by Jesus concerning farming. As, farmers plant their wheat crops. The farmers notice that the their wheat fields are being over run by weeds. Which could result in the death of their crops. It turns out that this a story not about farming. Rather it’s a story about the Resurrection. Those who do the work of Christ might have pay for their service. Sometimes with their lives. Those who work for just causes are likened to grains of wheat that appear to die, but burst through the ground announcing the resurrection of life. Like the wheat seed that dies. And then germinates to life which can be found in Bonhoeffer’s death. And the many before him, as well as, the many, who followed after him demanding social justice. Social and economic justice can only occur through the newness of life in Jesus Christ.

The great Salvadoran Archbishop Oscar Romero said this shortly before his assassination like it was prophetic vision. “I must tell you as a Christian I do not believe in death without the resurrection. If I were killed, I shall arise in the Salvadoran people.”

We have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall also arise in the likeness of His resurrection, Romans 6:5. Meaning whatever our fate others will pick up the cross and follow. That is a short summary of liberation theology concerning the resurrection.

There you have it from Christ, Bonhoeffer, Romero and well scattered Christ souldiers around the globe. Teaching that each situation dictates a situational response. Special unto itself.

golden bowls of incense

The strangeness of the supernatural is all around us, and few of us are aware of its influences both for good and evil. John was one of those people, who knew about good and evil. Because he says that he was at a place not by his choice. Protesting that he was there because of his stance in behalf of the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. See Revelation 1:9

The ancient world did not want to hear anything about the word of God or the testimony of Jesus Christ. Neither does our modern world. Because, the word of God is that mysterious vehicle of enlightenment for separating and understanding good from evil. Both good, and evil have universal uniformity. Meaning cultures within nation states globally; are all subject to the universality of the word of God, by godly predetermined standards.

Like John, we His Lampstands have the responsibility to announce the universality of His godly standards. History changes, but His standards remain the same. Standards like marriage is only between a man and a woman. Sexual relations are forbidden between same sex people. Universally, murder, stealing, lying, parental honor and human decency are irrevocable godly standards. Enshrined through Matthew chapters five-seven.

And by the millions over the centuries their slaughter has occurred. Immortalized with these words. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives to the death.” See Revelation 12:11.

Suddenly, looking upward John saw a door opening from heaven. And a voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place.” What is to follow is the ceremonial celebration of their sacrifices. Known as the, ‘golden bowls of incense.’

The book of Revelation is a book filled with symbols and drama. John saw and beheld a very strange sight. In heaven there was a thrown room. And in the middle of that room were four living creatures, and a group of twenty four elders, vs. 8. Among them stood a Lamb, as though it had been slain. Having seven horns and seven eyes which were the seven Spirits sent out into all the earth. See Revelation 5:6.

Some of the symbols are open to speculation, but the drama from the past, to the present and reaching into the future are not.

Seven is the number of completion. Jesus is picturesquely presented as having seven horns. Horns picturing complete and perfect strength. And with seven eyes symbolizing perfect sight for the triumphing of His causes. We are told that seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth. Meaning that God in the personage of Jesus Christ represents the perfect good upon on earth. See Revelation 5:6.

Take for example the imagery of the slain Lamb. Referring to Jesus Christ, who was tortured, and murdered in order to redeem us by His split blood. Also note the explicit acknowledgment that His split blood is redemptive with universal implications. See Revelation 5:9. Through out history many devout warriors of Jesus have lost their lives in His service.

Their service has been documented for eternity in, Revelation 5:8, “And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which is the prayers of the saints.”

The four living creatures, and the twenty four elders may represent another mystery. Which many pass over because of its lack of orthodoxy. Psalms 82:1, “God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. So are the four creatures, and twenty four elders apart of the government of God?

Which might help us to understand the following. “I am the LORD. That is my name, and I will not give my glory to another.” See Isaiah 42:8.

unseen forces magnify potential

I am among you, as a force though you know it not. Furthermore, in My right hand lifted high, I hold seven stars. Which are angels commissioned by Me, to be your guardians. You are My Lampstands, a figure of speech. As a designated people to declare to the populace Christ approved behaviors, as well as those hated by Jesus. See Revelation 1:13;20. That’s pretty much were the discussion ended yesterday and some days before yesterday.

It was no accident that John addressed his dialogue to the angel at the assembly or synagogue at Ephesus. But rather, by selectiveness of divine providence that’s what caused John to write, “To the angel ….” John may not have been aware that what he wrote wasn’t the product of his own thinking. The interference of angels in human affairs is mysterious. Consider the following carefully. “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for some by so doing have entertained angels.” And, “For He shall give His angels charge over you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands. Lest you dash your foot against a stone.” See Hebrews 13:2; Psalms 91:11-12.

We know from yesterdays discussion about the magnified attributes of the congregants at Ephesus. Their persevering labors, struggles for the causes of Jesus. Along with betrayers tagged as liars. People pretending to be something that they were not. That can be a morale killer to the extent that the above magnifiers were trashed.

Which would bring about a stunning rebuke, from the One who walked among them unnoticed. See Revelation 1:12-16. It’s an esoteric concept that escapes most. Blinded to an awareness of divine providence in ones mists. With a lack of awareness for the mysterious duties of angels on our behalf.

Nevertheless spoke Jesus, “I have something against you that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place. See Revelation 2:5.

This series had its beginning, “A Well Traveled Road Still A Mystery,” 27 April 2019. If you want more depth see the discussions for Holy Week, 14 April 2019 through 21 April 2019. And those discussions of the 22-27 helped launch this a package of discussions, 28 April 2019, up and including today’s discussion. They are all loaded with nuggets to help the Christ Lampstand avoid the indictment, repent. Or have your lampstand extinguished.

Hope for a world gone mad has no cure except for His light bearing Lampstands. It’s serious business because the owners of our mad world know that if they are to survive. They must extinguish all, not some, light bearing Lampstands.

The hour is urgent rise up and save America by extinguishing all betrayers of Christ. Use the weaponary made available through out this series. As Christ Lampstands, it done nonviolently. The sixth sense

So it was asked yesterday, did Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stand alone as an ostracized figure during Pope Francis’ hoax of a gallery for peace? It’s up for grabs!

Most have heard it said, “He’s so heavenly minded that he’s no earthly good.” It’s suppose to serve as a wake up call. It’s time to get going with the practicalities of life. I argue that its necessary to be heavenly minded to be of any earthly good.

Of all of God’s creation, our species is wired to know, experience and sense God. To sense God is different from experiencing him. Sensing him is more than a few rungs up the spiritual ladder.

Psalms 122:6-9, echoes these words. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, 6a.” And the spirit of God says this will be ones experience, “May they prosper, who love you,” 6b. “Peace be within your walls. Prosperity within your palaces.” For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” Because of the house of the LORD God, I will seek your good.

Many fall short, if they only think in terms of material things. First it should resonant as relationships of spirituality. It’s a spiritual art that allows supernatural associations of awareness between people. It’s the ability to know people from the interior of their beings. After barely scanning their exterior self.

Abraham was such an artist. Absorb this conversation between Abraham and three visitors from Genesis 18; Statement:Then the LORD appeared to him… by the trees, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. Commentary:At that moment he was unaware of God’s presences.

So he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the door to meet them, and bowed himself down to the ground, and said, “My Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.”

Commentary:Abraham didn’t immediately recognize God, but he quickly scrutinized his visitors, who then appeared most likely as angels. Most people then, and today, would not have had the presences of spirituality to know that these three were none other than ordinary men. We know that Abraham by his behavior recognized the inner beings of his quest and knew that these three were not ordinary visitors.

Abraham extended graciously his hospitality to his non-human visitors. They sternly accepted, and commanded him, “to do as he said.” So Abraham hurried about shouting orders to everyone to quickly prepare food for his guests.

But, they seemed to have come to chastise Abraham’s wife, Sarah. After eating they asked Abraham, “Where is your Sarah your wife?” Abraham replied, “Here in the tent.” And God said, though in angelic form, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him. Being old, and well advanced in age; having passed her childbearing age, she laughed. “Thinking to herself, in old age shall I pleasure my lord being old also?”

And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, “Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?”

Drawing this response, “Is anything to hard for the LORD?” And so he reiterated to Sarah, “I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Sarah being in good human form denied laughing and mocking God, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. Still in angelic presence, God said, “No but you did laugh!”

Commentary:Abraham externally could internally able to sense God while Sarah could only experience God. Sarah was still on the elementary level of her spirituality. A place were most Christians reside today.

What about Netanyahu? What is his level of spirituality? Did he, or did he not sense that he didn’t stand alone? As discussed yesterday, as the person made to look as the problem to peace and not the solution.

We have no way of really knowing, do we? But its safe to say, I suspect, that he senses the energy generated by the millions of Americans, who stand with him and thus Israel. Like no other nation, Americans, and Israelis are bonded as one.

Such energy is harnessed by God and transmitted into the inner core of his being, his soul, God himself. It’s a sixth sense which is an astute awareness of something not explainable. Significant numbers of American people stand with me. It gets Netanyahu through the most difficult of times. Sometimes called a feeling.

For new born’s in Christ, it’s the awareness generated through, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Growth elevates one to experience, 1 Corinthians 2:14-16. The Abrahamic experience is by rare privilege and occurs through, Psalms 65:4. The goodness of his house is his presence in his temple, our bodies. God decides, and can’t be limited to whom or how one is chosen. Paul summed it best by saying, “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ,” 1 Corinthians 2:16.

eliminating the opposition

In conclusion yesterday it was said, “Personal and collective success eludes us because most don’t pray, and faith is an unknown substance for most. The combination is the formula for defeating injustices and those forth coming.”

This discussion is about faith and prayer making them work. When injustices are over bearing with life’s other calamities. It might be helpful to read yesterdays discussion.

Faith the journey starts. “Now with is the substance hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” See Hebrews 11:1. “By faith we understand  that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made by the things which are visible” See Hebrews 11:3. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for those who come to God must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” See Hebrews 11:6.

Prayer: “But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” Romans 8:25. “Likewise the Spirit helps with our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought. But the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” See Romans 8:26. “Now He who searches the hearts knows the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intercession for the saints  according to the will of God.” See Romans 8:27.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanks giving, let your request be made to God; and the God of peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” See Philippians 4:6-7.

All of the above is a work within us and is not instantaneous. As a padre, here is what I have discovered. Pray the scriptures. For example, Direct my steps in your word. And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression’s of men that I might keep your precepts. See Psalms 119: 133-134.

“Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, and forget not all His benefits. who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your (spiritual) diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.” See Psalms 103:1-5.

unhitch the buggy the ride is over

A tough Jew hating prosecutor, who knew how to rough up people and relished in their death. Got a taste of brutality when he was tossed to the ground and was blinded by his assailant.

He got over it and later identified himself as a prisoner of Jesus Christ. Using it as a term of endearment, as he explains what that expression meant. For this reason, “I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles.”

If indeed, you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you. How by revelation He made known to me the mystery. And if you have read it, you will understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.

Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets. That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel. Which I became a minister according to the gift of grace given to me by the effective working of His power.” See Ephesians 3:1-7.

So here is one of those mysteries explained in which we have a paradigm shift in regards to the all inclusive declaration of Jesus where He said, “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it,” See John 14:14. In yesterdays discussion it has been shared as to why it doesn’t work today.

Today we with the less inclusive means of prayer whose results for you and me are determined by God Almighty. So here is that promised tonic with a good dose of spirits to enhance your sense of well being. “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplications with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” See Philippians 4:6. No all inclusiveness there because it’s all individualized.

Here is another mystery hidden in ages past and revealed by Paul. Promise by Jesus, who said, “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away. The Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” See John 16:7.

And He is here, and here is the help the Spirit provides. “Likewise the Spirit helps with our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intersession for us with groaning’s which cannot be uttered He that searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He makes intersession for the saints according to the will of God.” See Romans 8:26-27.

Here is another mystery for the prayers combined confidence. “And the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus,” Philippians 4:7.

When you pray, you are not always going to get what you want. But you will experience, Philippians 4:7, manifesting itself in a peace that transcends human understanding. It’s an awareness that occurs over time, as people mature in spirituality. Spiritual growth is like physical growth. It happens over time and by experience.

a street called straight

Experiences don’t get any more bizarre than what happen to Saul and his associates during yesterdays discussion. But it will, as events continue to unfold.

Saul blinded, and his associates spooked out after seeing their boss mysteriously tossed to the ground. Seeing no one in the vicinity that could have done that to Saul. All they heard was verbal communications between Saul and a voice that they couldn’t identify.

Saul had been told to go to the city and once there he’d be told what to do. Blinded, Saul had to be escorted to Damascus. As they journeyed, his associates most likely were thinking to themselves that once they got to city there would be consequences. After all, their boss was use to being the one who did the punishing. Finally they reached Damascus and secured lodging. Now everyone was becoming concerned, after all they had been there three days and the boss was still blind. And hadn’t drank anything or eaten food in three days.

Members of the Way were busing adding numbers to their movement. One of them was a man named Ananias. Divine providence has no limitations. So He came to Ananias though some kind of a vision. Ananias responded, “Here I am Lord.” He received these instructions. “Arise and go to the street called Straight. Inquire at the house of Judas, and ask for Saul of Tarsus.”

Ananias didn’t mix any words because he knew what he was dealing with when it came to Saul of Tarsus. That’s one of the problems the Way has today. The Way is busy advising Jesus instead of executing His advice. Peter coined this phrase for them, saying, “They are untaught and unstable people of the Way. They are people who twist to their own destruction the scriptures. See 2 Peter 3:16. It just happens to be that Peter was referring to the opposition Paul was encountering, who previously was the fierce prosecutor known as Saul of Tarsus.

Paul as part of his own experience was aware the others had had the same experience. So he wrote the following. But Isaiah was very bold and says, “I was found of them who did not seek me; I was made manifest to those who did not ask of Me.” See Romans 10:20.

People who have had such experiences make the best truth seekers and doers. Because they are outside of Christendoms snare. And are not tarnished by their nonsensical tirades.

The Way is in need of people who are fed up with churches as they are today. And stay as far away from them as they can, as does this Padre.

How you got here is known only to you. After all what we are studying right now is the uniqueness of Divine Providence, as lives are impacted and changed. The Way has no membership, collects no money. If you are compelled by Divine Providence, study the writings of Paul, Acts through Hebrews. Got questions get in touch. Always willing to offer a helping hand. Then get it together your way and change the world around you.

conquest of the ages

The intended became the unintended and made its way back to the intended. A great mystery available for the taking but grasped by the few. “Insomuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” See Hebrews 1:16.

Sometimes it works like this, “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I was made manifest to those who did ask for Me.” See Romans 10:20.
