on the world stage Leviathan pt 5

Job saddened by all that had occurred. A prosperous business destroyed, employees killed, a horrific storm causes the death of his ten children. Satan not through with him causes sores to appear upon his body. Driving Job to curse the day of his birth expressing devastating expressions for its obliteration from the consciousness of history.

All the above occurred because of a satanic challenges Satan argued before God. Job is faithful and worships you because you have made him wealthy. Stop protecting him and he’ll curse You to your face. Okay Satan, do him as you please. But with this exception. Do not lay a hand on him! That failed to get Job to curse God As we learned from a previous discussion Job praised and worships God.

That resulted in Satan given authority over Job’s body. With one exception Satan could not kill Job. And we know Job suffered to the extent that he wished that he had never been born. And we learned, Job final word on the matter was this expression. “Blessed be the name of the LORD!”

Suddenly Job seems to collect his equilibrium and focuses on the source of his troubles, Leviathan. Isaiah refers to Leviathan as a fleeing serpent. A reptile that lives in the sea. (cp. Isaiah 27:1).

Leviathan seems to be  sea creature of mysterious origins. Is there any association between Leviathan and Satan? Or are they one and the same?

This Padre sides with the notion that they are one and the same. Isaiah calls Leviathan a fleeing serpent. When the world was perfect, as were its only two inhabitants. Leviathan confronted those two people as a shape shifting reptile. Shape shifting because  this serpent could talk and reason. Shaping shifting because Leviathan could live in the oceans of the world, as well, as on land.

And what role does Leviathan play today, in the affairs of individuals and the global community? And could COVID-19 be of Leviathan’s shenanigans?

The intent of these discussions is to encourage  readers to exam life’s troubles from a coordinated attack of a shape shifting creature of the sea and land. And remember, his deceitful attacks can appear as wholesome. Paul wrote, “And no wonder, because Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light!” (cp. 2 Corinthians 11:14).

not the stuff of science fiction pt 4

From previous discussions we learned that Job was a prosperous business person. Living the good life and a happy father of ten children. But humanities arch enemy Satan while here, and canvassing the earth. It took notice of Job, and we don’t know what thoughts he held concerning Job.

But on a particular day most likely without invitation, it joined God’s council meeting with His trusted compatriots.

God spotted him, and asked, what do you think concerning Job my faithful follower? Satan replied, “Not impressed because Job is only faithful to you because you protect him, and see to it that he prospers.” So God replied, “He’s yours, do as you please, but don’t hurt him physically.

Immediately Satan, exited itself from God’s presences and attack Job. Ruining Job’s corporate empire, killing many of his employees, including his ten children

And, the outcome to Satan’s embarrassment must have infuriated him. Adding fury to his embarrassment was that Job bowed and worshiped God, and in no way faulted God for his losses.

Then the scenario repeats itself. This time Satan was told do as you please, but don’t kill him. Faster than a speeding bullet, Satan return to earth, and inflicted Job with torturous sores on his body.

Three of his closest friends came to comfort him. But seeing his grief, pain and suffering said nothing. Thinking that perhaps their presences might be source of comfort.

Scriptures used  to develop this discussion, Job chapters one and two.

Ever feel so distraught that your very existence haunts you? Well that’s how Job felt. Here Job verbalizes his feelings and  frustrations.

With defeated screams to the heavens cursing the very day of his birth. Yelling, “Let the day perish on which I was born, and the night in which it was said, a male child is born! Let that day be darkness! May God not value it, or give any significance to that day! May it be seen as a day of darkness! Let the shadow of death claim it for itself! Let a cloud cover it, and what makes the day dark terrify it! As for that night may darkness seize it; may it not ever be numbered as a time for rejoicing during the calendar year! Oh, that night might have been barren, so that no joyful shout resulted from it!” (cp. Job 3:1-7).

Hardships turning into grief captures all of us one way or another sometime during our lives, as it did Job.

Job was a person who had a personal relationship with God. And God favored Job, and told Satan that there was no one on the face of this earth like Job.

Through it all Job never blamed God for the hand of hardships and grief he experienced. He just mourned the day of his birth.

That’s the spiritual stamina we all need at various times during our lifetimes. It all starts by being a part of His family.

holy smoke round 3

Job, after experiencing excruciating horror managed to utter these words, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked will I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.” In all this Job did not sin, nor charge God with any wrong. (cp. Job 1:21-22).

To get the jest of what’s going on it might be helpful to read the previous two discussions, Introducing Satan and Satan Blooms.

One can only imagine how angry Satan was that Job remained faithful to his Creator. Despite his horrendous loss, which included the loss of his ten children.

Again there was a day when God’s sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD. With Satan joining them, and God spotted him. Waving to him, “Hey Satan where have you been?” Satan replied, “Canvassing the earth!”

“Quite a guy is my friend Job. Loyal to me in every aspect. There isn’t anyone like him. His integrity is unquestionable Despite the fact that you incited Me against him to destroy him without cause!”

Satan followed with this rebuttal, “Skin for skin! Yes all that a man has, he will give for his life. Go ahead, and inflict his body with severe diseases, and Job will curse you to your face!”

God replied, “Satan into your hands I commit him, but do not take his life!”

Satan exits God’s presences with the instant speed of time travel by thought. And immediately inflicting Job with painful sores from the sole of  his feet and on the top of his head.

Then Job’s wife confronts him, “Do you still maintain your integrity?” ‘Curse God and die!'” But he said to her, “You speak foolishly women! Shall we receive only good from God while not experiencing evil?” Still Job maintained his integrity and didn’t sin with his lips.”

When Job’s three friends heard the details of his unexpected adversity. They came to comfort and sympathize with him. When they approached Job, they were shocked.

They sat down with him for seven days. No one spoke a word because they saw Job’s grief was very great. (cp. Job 2:1-13).

Perhaps this was what sustained Job’s spiritual integrity. Recalling something similar to this scripture. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, and my God, in Him will I trust.'” (cp. Psalms 91:1-2).

It’s one thing to talk the walk, but it’s a far different experience to walk the talk. As Job, and many others have. The intent of these discussions is to encourage readers to prepare, and examine life’s troubles, from the perspective of a possible Satanic attack. There are two avenues available to be discovered. First, and foremost is to be one of His. Then to familiarize yourself with the prompts found in 2 Timothy 3:16.

So if, you are not one of us, now is the time to become a part of our Christ family. Follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek.

Satan Blooms pt 2

After Satan finished his conversations with God, he departed. Whether he like it or not, God had put limits, as to what havoc Satan could inflict upon Job. God had told Satan that there was no other man like Job. Satan said, “O! ‘Come on God, be real, he’s righteous because you shield him from all dangers. Remove that shield, and he’ll curse you!'”

This discussion had it’s beginning yesterday. For clarity concerning this discussion, it’s suggested a review of that discussion. Because the purpose is to show the possible ramifications personally for us today.

This discussion will focus on the weapons Satan has as he heaped havoc upon Job. And there is no reason to conclude that they are not available today, to be used against, you or me, or against nation states. Extending Satan’s powers to cause regional wars, or global wars like the Great Wars of 20th century. And perhaps, the worlds current coronavirus. In the other words, Satan’s evil is universal, and unfathomable to human reasoning.

Satan orchestrated a theft of Job’s animals used to plow his farm lands. And killing all of his employees over seeing the plowing. One employees escaped, and reported this theft and the massacre.

And while he was sharing this news with Job, another employee surged into Job’s presences exhausted. Announcing that striking lightening from the heavens had ignited his barns, and all was lost, including human life.

Job no doubt stunned with such news. A third employee, who also managed to escape announces, “The Chaldean’s with three separate raiding parties had stolen all of his camels, and slaughtered his employees.”

The sadists of all news was about to occur. “Your sons and daughters while enjoying dinner together in their oldest brothers house. When suddenly, a great wind came from what appeared to be out of nowhere. Striking the house with unimaginable force causing it to collapse. Instantly killing your sons and daughters.”

Such sad news tore Job to smithereens. Job arose ripping of his clothes, and shaving his head. Then following to the ground to worship. Declaring, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

In all this Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrong.

The havoc reaping’s of Satan. From his varied arsenal is the ability to orchestrate armed raids, theft and murder. Sparing lives for the sole purpose informing Job of one tragedy after another. Whipping up a humongous storm completely destroying a house and Job’s sons and daughters.

Lessons to be learned is Satan can orchestrate equivalent occurrences to attack and destroy. Always with the intention to destroy anyone’s faith in God.

Job withstood Satan’s devastating onslaughts. The question is could you, or I, or could anyone else have the resiliency of Job? So perhaps it might be helpful that when things go wrong, remember who might be behind such troubles. And recalling Job’s example, praise God, for who He is.

The scriptures used for this discussion came from Job chapter one verses 1-22. It’s secret for overcoming came from 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Everything goes better through a personal relationship with Jesus. So if you are not one of us, now might be the time to join our Christ family. Follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10, then notice verses 11-13. All of which creates the universality so many are seeking. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next. Blessings!

introducing Satan pt-1

A menace provocateur of greatness, for it’s recorded, “Be aware, and vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may destroy. (cp. 1 Peter 5:8).

And, there is no reason to think that any human being has not been his target!

So lets take a journey into the ancient past and take a look at one of Satan’s targets. Let no one think, well that’s ancient stuff, and has no applicability in a modern society. Wrong, because this writer has been subjected to his viciousness.

That’s what has prompted this discussion. His intellect and physical power is well not understood. And there will be scoffers and mockers, who will think that such nonsense is a laughing matter. And, that will be to their shame. Because a time will come, when they will talk a very different talk.

Paul writing to Timothy and you and me, “I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and within His kingdom.” (cp. 2 Timothy 4:1).

There was a man whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and righteous, who feared God and avoided evil.

He had seven sons and three daughters. And Job was extremely wealthy.

There was a day when God’s sons came to present themselves before the LORD. And Satan, came also came among them to present himself before the LORD.

And the LORD asked Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan replied, “From going back and forth in the earth, and walking up and down in it.”

Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My friend Job? There is no one like him in the earth, a blameless, and an upright man. One who fears God and turns away from evil.”

So, Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not made a hedge around his house, and all that he has on every side? You have prospered the works of his hands, and his wealth has increased. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

And the LORD said to Satan, “Behold all that he has is within your power!” Do not lay a hand on his person!” So Satan went out from the presences of God.

The aforementioned has developed from Job 1:1-12, unless other scriptures have been cited.

Consider the following because there is no reason to doubt, that Satan has had like conversation with God, concerning all of us.

All of that should give new meaning to the following scripture. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the people of God may be completely, and thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (cp. 2 Timothy 3:16).

Hopefully readers now know that Satan is more than some make believe creature that haunts the world during the days of the Halloween season. Knowing now that Satan engages in conversations with our Creator to destroy us. And that God curtails his destructive powers, but nevertheless, Satan can make ones live miserable. And that the remedy for believers is found through 2 Timothy 3:16.

Not one of us who believe? Join our Christ family by following the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10, and then notice verses 11-13. All of which creates the universality that so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

madness one of two ways

We learned yesterday that the mayhem we are experiencing originated from an over ambitious Cherub, who had decided to replace his Creator. Didn’t play out as planned because we discover that God Almighty gave him the royal heave-ho.

“How are you fallen from heaven shinning son of the dawn. Dispatched to the ground of the earth, O Lucifer? (cp. Isaiah 14:12a).

So here Lucifer is unseen but very much a part our world. The Apostle Peter had warned us about his devious ways. “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (cp, 1 Peter 5:8).

Now we know Lucifer is here and here’s an interesting discussion about his where about’s since his exit from heaven.

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan was among them. And the LORD said to Satan, ‘From where do you come?'” So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth and walking back and forth on it.”

This discussion, as did the previous two centers around two words recorded in Colossians 1:16. which are the visible and invisible. This writer is very aware of those who occupy the visible and invisible realms of our stratosphere I have seen them, and have been helped by them. That is through the visible, as well, as through the invisible.

For this writer it was for the good, but obviously that isn’t always true for everyone, as noted by Peter. And from Satan’s presence before his arch enemy God Almighty.

If you read deeper into Job, you’ll discover that Satan made life miserable for Job. Because Satan insulted God concerning Job’s faithful relationship with his Creator. So God gave Satan permission to attack Job, but that he had to spare Job’s life. The unanswerable question do such occurrences play out today? This writer suggests they do. And it helps to understand, the craziness that surrounds us by various entities. Some good and others not so good. A curious mix of people serving as their hosts.

A sudden awareness came upon Jesus. It was powerful enough that it caused him to announce, “Most assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me. That generated a discussion among His disciples as to who the culprit was.

It turns out to have been, Judas Iscariot, one of the trusted twelve of the revolutionary Jesus Christ.

We have reason to suspect that Satan has extra ordinary powers. Some have labeled Satan as a masterful shape shifter. Scriptures share this account concerning the interest expressed by His disciples concerning His betrayer. Declaring it’ll be he whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it. Having dipped the bread He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Having consumed the bread, immediately Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him what you do, do quickly! (cp. John 13:21-27).

Suggestive analysis: Indeed Satan is a masterful shape shifter through a dipped piece of bread. Satan enter Judas, and at the appropriate time Judas kissed Jesus on His cheek. And that was the signal for which one was Jesus. (cp. Matthew 26:47-50).

Very picturesque of Satan with the ability to select a host. And through his host reek intended havoc. What makes this so dangerous, is that the host may not be aware that he/she is the vehicle intended  evil. And, evil wears many faces.

There you have it worlds visible and invisible. Both can become very dangerous, most try to pay attention to the dangers manifested through the visible. Because, visible dangers are everywhere to be seen and avoided

But not so with the invisible of the supernatural because many associate the invisible only with ones imagination. And if that imagination is to overt, then that suggests a mental illness. Even more so, when reliance is based upon Biblical grounds. And not doctrinal researches papers coming out of  academia.

Not one of us? Join our family through the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then note verses 11-13. And if our paths do not cross in this world, they will in the next.
