see it sense it do it

It has been said, “That if one advances confidently in the direction of their dreams. Then endeavors to live the life which imagined. They will meet that end with surprising success.”

Here is a simple formula that everyone can apply as an endeavor to make the world a better place. And its guaranteed to have surprising success.

Folks are hurting everywhere; thus they need Jesus, but they don’t want to hear a bunch of religious crap. So try this; live the life, and the life will walk the talk. And, whenever possible offer a helping hand.

Realization of ones imagined life is an intellectual process combined through the spiritual. It’s what made America great through our founding father’s. And it worked for its citizenry; right through to recent times, then gradually it slipped away. Today, it’s just about extinct.

Liberty, and prosperity are, so interconnected that they are just about indistinguishable. Therefore, Paul pleaded, “I urge you by the mercies of God; to present yourself as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service. Don’t be conformed to this world; but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God. (cp. Romans 12:1-2).

There are many ways to accomplish that imagined walk. Sometimes it works best by being silent. By letting the fragrance within you do the talking. Note: “Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among the saved, and among those who are perishing. (cp. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

Paul was applying the above truth as an evangelist, but it’s just as applicable for all other morally correct endeavors.

But there is a caveat, it’s necessary to be integral member of our Christ family. If you can nod your head in agreement, Blessings! If not one of us, join us, by following the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

enemies of success pt 36

Many who have labored for the good of others find themselves vilified as the calendar rolls the months into years.

In the previous discussion Job was seen as highly respected person because of his untiring efforts to help others. That was when no one knows with certainty, how many yesterdays had captured his calendar of life. (cp. Job 29:1-25).

Though it could have been his disrespect for the elderly. Some of God’s commandments are everlasting such as honor and respect for ones parents. For it is written, “Honor your father and your mother that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD has given you.” (cp. Exodus 20:12).

There is every reason to suspect revenge had gripped the younger generations for the way Job treated their parents. Job complains, “But now they treat me with contempt, who are younger, and whose fathers I considered unworthy to be put with my sheep dogs. Of what use is the strength of their hands to me? Of what profit are these men to me? Has not ripe ripe age made them unprofitable as employees?”verses 1-2.

“They are diseased from lack of food and shelter. They pluck eatable substances from the trees. They plunk what they can from the bushes. Even the roots of trees are their foods, verses 3-4.

They were driven away by prosperous socialites, and looked upon as thieves. They had to find shelter wherever they could. In unthinkable places by the standards of respected society, verses 5-8.

Then something happened through Divine Providence no doubt. It’s His handy work that makes what goes around come around. Meaning there are consequences for all behaviors!

What follows is Job’s experiences from the echelons prosperous socialites while he was once one of them. But now, Job has gone from riches to rags. Suddenly Job finds himself as being their taunting song. Yes, I am their byword. They abhor me, they keep far from me. They do not hesitate to spit in my face, verses 9-10).

Job has the forth with all to know that the God, who allowed him to become prosperous, has now turned the tables on him. Job puts it in Jobian like terms, “He has loosed my bowstring and afflicted me. All previous restraints by You have been removed. Only the rubble of my past endures. They have made it impossible for me to regain lost wealth. They have become an unstoppable destructive power, verses 11-12.

They break up my path, they promote my calamity. And it appears, that they have no helper. Terror has gripped me. My honor has been chased away as through a strong wind. My prosperity has passed away as a moving cloud. Now my soul is poured out because of my depleted circumstances. The verses 13-15.

The days of afflictions have taken their toll in multiple ways. It’s like a collar cast upon me. I have become like nothing, but more than a pile of ashes, verses 16-19.

In desperation like most, Job call to God, and plays the blame game. “I call to You, but You do not answer. I stand up, and you just gaze at me. You have turned against me and You are cruel. With the might of Your hand you oppose me. It’s like You have lifted me up to the winds making me ride them. You have spoiled my successes. I know that you will cause me to experience death, and then to the house appointed for all living,” verses 20-23.

(Shelo (cp. Luke 19:16-31). Gives a very detailed description of what occurs as the soul and spirit exits the body. A recommended read and study.

“Surely You would not stretch out Your hand against a heap of ruins? When anyone cries out before death is experienced, verse 24.

Job reminds the Almighty, “Have I not wept for them who where in trouble? Has not my soul grieved for the poor? But when I looked for good, evil came to me; and when I waited for light, then came darkness,” verses 25-26.

My heart is in turmoil and cannot rest; days of affliction confront me. I mourn for sunlight. I stand up and cry in the assembly, and cry for help, verses 27-28.

“I am a brother to Jackals, and a companion to ostriches. My skin grows black, and peels from me. My bones are burned with heat. Therefore my harp has turned to mourning, and my pipe of those who weep, verses 29-31.

This discussion was developed from Job 30:1-31, with supporting scriptures. Through critical analytical interpretations.

With this discussion we have seen the two faces of Job. From being helpful to being cruel. Then pleading his case with God by elaborating upon  his goodness while not mentioning his cruelties. Human nature is what it is, complex. Which doesn’t erase our need for redemption, it enhances our need for redemption.

It all starts by following the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

lives well lived pt 35

Yesterdays discussion focused on the ways most know as the way it is. But, ends in the ways most disadvantageous.

Job uses himself as an example, however, it can be made appropriate with perhaps adjustments made here and there for our era. After all that’s how scriptures should be read and applied, when applicable.

Oh that things could be as in the months of old, as in the days when God watched over me. When His lamp provided light, and, I lived by it. Then I was in the prime of my life. When friendship with God, and His ways were my ways. I was happiest then because my children were around me. It was as though my steps were bathed with cream, and streams of oil made my way easy, verses 2-6.

That was a time when I was highly respected. From the children to most highly esteemed within the community. No one challenged me. Because everyone, benefited through my entrepreneurship. And, all that made me very happy. Why? I help the poor, who needed help. Which included the fatherless, who had no one to help them.  Being destitute, they would not have been able to survive. That caused the hearts of widows to sing with joy, verses 7-13.

I put on righteousness, and it clothed me. My justice served as a robe and turban. I served as eyes for the blind and feet to the lame. I voluntarily served as a father to them all. And I searched for those, whom I did not know. I broke the jaws of the unrighteous, and plucked their prey from their midst, verses 14-17.

Then I reasoned, I will die in my own house, so multiply my days, as the sand on the beach. Spread my root out to the waters, and let the dew rest on my branches. My satisfaction is fresh within me, and my bow is renewed in my hand, verses 18-20.

People have listened, and waited for my counsel. And when received, there was no need for any additional explanation. They waited for me as for rain. Their mouths drank as with the spring rains. I smiled at them, when they had no confidence. They didn’t reject the light on my face. I chose the way for them, and sat as chief. I lived as a king over the army, as one who comforts the mourners, verses 21-25.

This discussion was developed from Job 29: 2-25. By critical analytical interpretation.

Commendable aspirations to model in a 21st century manner. Easy said, but difficult to achieve. However, that’s exactly what Jesus did, but it works best for those who are apart of His family. Because there is a unexplainable sense of unity with Him, and His purpose for us.

If you can identify with the unexplainable, blessings! If not, start the journey by following the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the unity, so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

revolving rendezvous pt 19

Job is tired of being brow beaten by those whom he thought were his friends, the last of them being Zophar. So now Job turns to chastising Zophar, and no doubt it was also meant for Eliphaz and Bildad.

“Stop berating me Zophar, I’ve had enough, and you can’t say anything that I have not heard over and over again and again!” After all, “I am in no way inferior to you intellectually or spiritually!”

“If I thought that there were any merit in the tirades against me, I would petition the Almighty and try to reason with Him. But you, and the others are forgers of the truth. All of you are far less than you realize, and who have no value to me. Show your intelligence by being silent!”

Make no mistake about what I’m about to say. “Will you continue speak deceitfully to God about me? He will search for you, and expose you for what you are betrayers of me with the intent to deceive Him. He will surely chastise you because you show partiality to deceit! His majesty will make you afraid because His anger will fall upon you! Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes. Any defense you offer will be defenses like clay!”

“Be silent! Leave me alone for what will be will be. The greatest error that I could make is to but my welfare in your hands! Should He take my life, then I will have no hope. Until then, I will live my life as it is before Him! This will be my salvation, that godless people cannot expect His help!”

Listen carefully to what I have to say. Let it ring clearly in your ears. “I know that the Almighty sees me favorably because I am righteous. Will any of you now contend with me? If so, then I will give up my spirit.”

“Avoid to doing two of the following to me. If you do that then I will stop avoiding you. Withdraw your abusive tongues, and stop using your tongues to terrorize me! Thinking that it’ll make me afraid!”

“Then you can confront me, and I will answer you. Or let me speak, and then you can answer me. Take the lead and number my errors and sins. Show me my avenues of disobedience to Him, and how that disobedience was sinful.”

“Why are you avoiding me. and why do you consider me your enemy? Will you harass a leaf driven by the wind that becomes dry stubble? You write hatefully about me, as though you don’t like me. You don’t have to go any further, for I know that I am like a garment that is moth eaten.”

This discussion was developed from Job 13:1-28 through analytical interpretation or exegesis.

Life has it ups and downs, and sometimes friends come and go, and then return through a process of mutual reconciliation.

The aforementioned discussion could be seen as being picturesque of us, as we move through life’s hazardous road ways. Being argumentative with friends as to what behaviors are lets say moral or immoral.

But what barometer can be used to make such conclusions. Job argues it is God, and Job felt confident that God would see him as being righteous concerning his lifestyle. And if not then he would welcome death.

Pretty bold statement for Job to make, nevertheless everyone can make such a statement but its conditional upon being one with Christ. So if you are not one with Christ, follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

the whereabouts of death – A

Death the last encounter one engages in during their lives here on plant earth. It’s as mysterious as it is controversial. Because science has studied this phenomenon for eons of time. And, these great minds can’t agree upon a unanimous definition for death. Other than to agree that all humans will eventually die. Case closed? Not by any means!

All profound quandaries are solved through our Biblical scriptures. Concerning death it’s recorded that through one man death entered the world. (cp. Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12).

But, through the same Breath mercy followed. (cp. Romans 5:18-19).

But for some of us, death isn’t mysterious or controversial. A major concern occurs that when death is pronounced, has death really occurred? Some argue not always! Because they argue studies have shown that some people pronounced, as dead where prepared for burial while still alive. While others clinically dead, but for some reason escaped a quick trip to the mortuary. Giving credence to the adage rush them to mortuary before the corpse grows cold.

All that stirred my awareness that the issues should be discussed. And as a result some just sleeping may escape death. Because once the mortician gets them, if not dead, soon they will be. That is not said to suggest that fowl play is a factor. It’s more about ignorance concerning death.

Most don’t understand, or know, that there is a life force within us. And it’s distinctly separated from ones shell, or body which in itself has no life.

For simplicity purposes of identification, it’s our Creators Spirit. And that Spirit gives life to the unborn fetus, often referred to as the unborn’s umbilical cord.

Which in itself, when understood is quite miraculous. Because it’s the life force which transfer oxygen to the unborn fetus, and transfer waste from the unborn fetus.

Many do not intimately know this Padre! So for clarity purposes, he does not get involved with religious babel. Because it’s self centered, and most often promotes non-biblical dogma. Which just alienates the public, from what they need most, Jesus Christ.

But, for this discussion the exception is the rule. Every time a fetus is intentionally aborted it’s the process of murdering God! Because, God is the force that allows life. So not only did society find a way to brutally crucify His Son. The murder continues today through every human caused abortion.

What God instructed Moses to write from that mountain top centuries ago, and it’s very relevant today! “You shall not murder!” (cp. Exodus 20:13).

Discussion to be continued tomorrow.

Not one of us? Join our Christ family through the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10, then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

walks of various kinds

Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild the house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on. You knew that those jobs needed doing, and so you are not surprised.

But presently, He starts redesigning  the house in a way that hurts abominably and does not make any sense. What exactly is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought about throwing out. He is creating a new wing here, putting an extra floor there. Running up towers here and there along with several courtyards.

You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage. But He is building a palace. And He intends to come, and live in it Himself, C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity.

That’s always the way it is after one gets acquainted with what happened, when one encounters His life changing powers. The Apostle Paul put it this way, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they have become new creations. The old things have passed away. Behold! All things have become new.” (cp, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

And as time passes on, and one looks back, and remembers the old. The change put simply, remarkable! Like, “What do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own. For you were bought with a price, therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (cp, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Wow! Digest that because it’s awesome.

The following seems mean, but it isn’t, it’s just very practical. Interwoven is a new reality that brings an unique compassion for all people outside of the influence of God’s love and compassion. It’s about a self imposed caveat which brings with it a special aroma which will be shared.

“Don’t be unequally associated with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? Or what association does light have with darkness?

What agreement does the temple of God have with (nothingness) Belial? For you are the temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them, and walk with them. I will be there God, and they shall be my people.” Therefore, ‘Come out from among them and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Be careful with your associations, and I will be with you! And, I will be your Father, and you shall be My daughters and sons,'” says the Lord Almighty. (cp. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

Now that self declared caveat. “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are saved and those who are perishing.” (cp. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

tough road to hoe

“The true Christian was intended by Christ to prove all things by the word of God. All churches, all clergy, all ecclesiastical professors. Making sure all doctrines, sermons, writings, opinions and practices could be supported by examination of the scriptures.”

“These are His marching orders. Prove all by the Word of God; measure all by the means of the Bible; compare all with the  standard of the Bible; weigh all in the balance of the Bible; examine all by the light of the Bible; test all in the crucible of the Bible.”

“That which cannot survive the fire of Biblical examination, reject, repudiate and cast away. This is the flag which He nailed to the mast. May it never be lowered!” John Wycliffe.

And by so doing you will be not among the throngs of the centuries, who failed to heed the Apostle Paul’s exhortation in behalf of Jesus, “Let no one deceive with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the people of disobedience.” (cp. Ephesians 5:6).

And now you know why the world is in such a mess. A mess that the world community might not ever recover from. Because Jesus said, “These things are the beginning of sorrows.” (cp. Matthew 24:8).

trust and perseverance

“Twant me!” “Twas the Lord I always tell them and I trust Him. I don’t know where to go, or what to do, but I expected Him to lead me and He always did,” Harriet Tubman.

Harriet was born into slavery, but she escaped, and subsequently made some thirteen dangerous missions to rescue seventy enslaved people. Using the underground of antislavery activist, and safe houses known as the underground railroad.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. (cp. 2 chronicles 16:9).

Trust in the LORD and do good. Dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, and trust also in Him, and He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. (cp, Psalms 37:3-6).
