Two women centuries apart had their own holiday season stories to tell the world community.
Our holiday season can’t be understood apart from Jewish history. Because Jews and Christians fall under the same umbrella of God’s declarations. Because we have it written, “And if you are Christ’s, then you are of Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise,” Galatians 3:29.
Resulting in the abundance of God’s bounties or wrath. Depending upon individual personal choices, or national collective choices as nations.
For Israelis the abundance of bounties or wrath has been a roller coaster ride between the two.
Christians have not fared much better over the centuries. Except for two extra ordinary nations, Great Britain and the United States. But things are changing, as both nations are slipping more towards God’s wrath. And not by default, but by deliberate choice.
Our first woman, even before Jesus was born shared this Christmas story with the world with these words. And Hannah prayed, and said, “My heart rejoices in the LORD, my horn (strength) is exalted in the LORD, my mouth (authority) is enlarged over my enemies, because I rejoice in your salvation,” 1 Samuel 2:1.
Hannah gave the world her prophetic awareness of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. She goes on in verse two saying, “There is none holy like the Lord; for there is none beside you, neither is there any rock like our God.” Followed by this warning, … “The Lord is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed,” 1 Samuel 2:3).
Hannah’s prophetic Christmas account hails these bounties of gifts upon God’s faithful. “The bows of mighty men are broken, and they that stumble are girded with strength,” 1 Samuel 2:4.
She went on to counsel, “The Lord makes poor, and the LORD makes rich, He brings low, and lifts up. He raises the poor from the dust. And lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes, and makes them inherit the throne of glory,” 1 Samuel 2:7-8.
It is not for me to judge Israel. as to whether Israel is reaping God’s bounties or His wrath. It seems for now to be a combination of the two.
Though this can be said, Israel as a nation has rejected the everlasting gospel, as dispatched by the angle of Revelation 14:6. Which is not a good omen for any individual, or nation.
So maybe for now, God might turn the tables upon Israel, and give some victories to her Arab Muslim enemies that surround her.
It’s amazing how this little Israeli state, smaller the California, has been able to fend of her avowed enemies. Who have bodily announced their determined purpose to eradicate Israel from the face of the earth. And they, have backed their talk with action. But have failed, and failed. and failed because of Hannah’s Christmas prophecy.
Succeed they might, and if you haven’t noticed the United States is moving from Israel towards support of her avowed enemies.
A move the United States will regret. Because ultimately this will occur. “He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness.
For by strength shall no nation prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken in pieces. From heaven He shall thunder against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth, 1 Samuel 2:9-10A-C.
Why would God punish the United States and all other nations that would punish or attack Israel? Because the world community, wants two state solution between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
It’s not going to occur because God said so! It’s all recorded signed and in the process of being delivered.
This what was said to Abraham, “And I establish My covenant between Me and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.
Also I will give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, (Palestine) as an everlasting possession, and I will be your God,” Genesis 17:7-8).
From all of those biblical declarations, we have the art of holiday seasonal pageantry. From Hannah, a tenth century prophetess, “I will rejoice in your salvation.”
The ultimate design that should be featured during our holiday season. Guaranteed a better world would be the eternal gift to America and the global community.
And because it won’t occur, Hannah journeyed us also to the travails of earthly struggles with there climatic ends.
For tomorrow, another women’s perspective
