Eliphaz, one of four fictitious biblical characters within the book of Job. Majestically designed by Divine Providence to teach we mortals vital life lessons. So lets discover, what he has to share with us today.
“Can any person make God profitable? No! Then what difference should it be to God, if you are righteous. Or in what ways does it benefit Him, that you attempt to make your ways pleasing to Him?”
It is because of your self piety that He has admonished you. And consequently, He has charged you as being guilty. By ushering in personal destruction for every aspect of your life. Job, it all occurred because of your great wickedness. Wrapped in your determination to mock His righteousness.
If you have been reading the previous discussions, then you know that Eliphaz got it all wrong. There occurred a conversation between God and Satan. With God asking Satan this question. “Have you considered my servant, Job? For there is no one like him in all the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil.” (cp, Job 1:8).
Satan took issue with what he considered to be an outrageous conclusion about Job. So Satan mocks God by saying, “Stop pampering him, and he will curse you!” (cp, Job 1:9-11).
So God responded, “He’s yours, do as you please to him, but don’t physically hurt him. (cp. Job 1:12). And from riches Satan tumbled Job to rags, and ill health. (cp. Job 1:12-19).
Despite the vicious attacks Job said, “Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked I will return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the Lord’s name. (cp. Job 1:21).
In all this, Job didn’t sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing. (cp. Job 1:22).
Know it all fault finders abound everywhere, like Eliphaz, who is picturesque of the religious elite, including the business community. Reaching to his closes friends who also had turned against Job. (cp. Job 19:14-19).
This discussion was developed from, Job 22:1-5, along with other supporting scriptures. Through critical analytical interpretation.
This we all know, “But as for humanity, we are all born into trouble, as sparks fly upward. Therefore, the wise will turn to God, and commit their causes to Him. Because He is able to do great things that we can not fathom, all which are marvelous and without number. (cp. Job 5:7-9).
The most effective way to be a beneficiary of His, is to be one of His. If so, Blessings! If not, follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13. All of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.
