a merry go round experience pt 26

Job once again responds to his fault finding religious menaces. He now declares that this their tenth such attack must end!

Asking how many more times will you through your torturous attacks, attempt to destroy my public image? While admitting that he has sinned, but declaring that his transgressions remain between him and his Creator. Declaring you are trying to gain stature within the community through your public criticism of me.

If you succeed, then God has wronged me! And has dropped an enclosure upon me, so that if I cry out about your wrongs against me, I am not heard. Therefore, for me, there can be no justice!

You, Bildad, with your associates want to turn the public against me. As though my business successes were gained by ill repute, therefore God has destroyed me. Counting me now as an adversary.

As evidence you are rallying the public against me, warning everyone to create a noticeable distance between themselves and me. Which includes my relatives, and all my familiar friends, who now act as though they never knew me. You are trying to make me an alien in everyone’s sight!

Wake up, and have pity on me, you, who once counted me as your friend. God has touch me. Because I know that my redeemer lives. In the end He will stand upon the earth. Whom I, will see, and I will not be a stranger to Him. My heart is consumed within me.

You Bildad, “Should be afraid because of your unfounded wrath against me. It will bring punishment upon you. Then you will know that your punishment is His judgement!”

Most one way or another can identify with Job’s dilemma. It’s by being able to relate to Job’s declaration, “I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, He will stand upon the earth. After my body is destroyed, then I will see God. Whom I will see, but not as a stranger. My heart is consumed with joy over such an awareness.” (cp. Job 19:25-27).

This discussion was developed from Job 20:1-29, and with supporting scriptures. By applying critical analytical interpretations.

Some of the aforementioned declarations weren’t a collection of fearful expressions. Iniquity is a collection of behaviors that are offensive to God Almighty. For us in this age of grace our iniquities are wiped clean, by following the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. And then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this life, they will in the next world. And like Job, we will see God, but not as strangers.
