cycle of life pt 9

A friend in need is a friend indeed, so one of Job’s friends offers helping hand. So Eliphas chimes in. Saying, “If one attempts a word with you, will become weary? But who can withhold himself from speaking? Surely you have instructed many, and you have strengthened weak hands. Your words have upheld those who were stumbling. You have strengthened feeble knees.

But now tragedy comes upon you, and you are weary; it touches you, and you are troubled.

Is not your your reverence for God Almighty your confidence? And the integrity of your faith your hope?Remember Job, who ever perished being innocent, or people of faith cut off?

Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity, and sow trouble reap the same. By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of His anger they are consumed.

Nature Job should be your witness. The roaring of the Lion, the voice of the fierce lion, and the teeth of the young lions are broken. The old lion perishes for lack of prey, and the cubs of the lioness scattered.

Job is mute, and offers no response to his friends efforts to console him. For those who have been following these discussions, it is known that Job had every reason to be in a state of no hope. After all, Job lost his business empire, his employees where killed and his daughters and sons lost their lives as a result of horrendous storm.

But we also learned that Job had found favor with God because of his spiritual integrity. Satan challenged God saying it’s all because You protect him. So God said to Satan test Him. And Satan did, to know avail. Nevertheless his ordeals destroyed him emotionally to the point that he regretted his birth. Thus his friend attempts to console him.

Discussion was developed from an analytical interpretation of Job 4:1-11.

Job wasn’t the first person, nor the last to experience satanic tragedies which included this writer.

God is long suffering, and merciful toward people of faith.

This was applicable to Job, me, and many others, and will continue to reach into the future, until this age ends. “The steps of good people are ordered by the LORD. And He delights in their ways. Though they should fall, they will not be utterly destroyed. For the LORD will upholds them with His hands.” (cp. Psalms 37:23-24).

The Psalmist continues, “I have been young and now am old. Yet I have never see the righteous forsaken. nor his descendants begging for bread. He is ever merciful, and his descendants are blessed. (cp. Psalms 37:25-26). Amen!

leviathan creature of horror-pt 8

Leviathan a mysterious menacing sea creature meaning the coiled one. This mysterious creature appears in biblical and extrabiblical literature. Pictured by the prophet Isaiah 27:1 as perhaps the cursed creature, who doomed all of humanity as both Adam and Eve crossed the line of the forbidden. Note: “In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong. Will punish Leviathan that fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisted serpent, and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.”

Yes, it was that crafty shape shifting pearl of God’s creation, who betrayed His Creator. And then, sucked Adam and Eve into his snare, knowing that they were designed in His exact likeness. Creating insult upon injury. (cp. Ezekiel 28:14-17; Isaiah 14:12-14; Genesis 1:26; 3:1-6 and verses 16-19).

The redeemed through Christ will again experience the likeness of Christ. It occurs when we experience the likeness of His transfiguration. (cp: Luke 24:33-43; Romans 8;11; Philippians 3:21; 1 Corinthians 15:51:51-57; the ultimate vs. 58).

It’s alleged that when Leviathan bellows the waters of the seas roar with terror swallowing those at sea and upon earth. And perhaps is the agent of our current pandemic. If so, and most likely, it is, but unfortunately it represents only the beginning of sorrows as we shall see. Journeys deep into John’s revelations expose their terrors.

The battle lines are drawn because the two have battled for eons of time. And Leviathan, knows that his destructiveness is approaching its end. So one more hurrah from the bellowing angry serpent.

So God in His infinite wisdom; why beyond human comprehension, chooses one from the original twelve, Matthew, to follow the Christ. So he pens the following, Matthew chapter 24:32-35, The establishment of the state of Israel. But, its climax is kept secret verse 36. Learn about the evils of Noah’s times. For they represent  signals as to when our time will end. Examine verses 36-43. Be ready because no advance notice will occur apart from generational similarities. Be prepared verses 44-51.

These conditions sever as forerunner’s, as to when, we can expect the aforementioned. There will be great controversy over religion. The constant imminent possibility of global warfare. Then there will famines, pestilences liked COVID-19, unprecedented number earthquakes. And, the grand daddy of them all. Declared to be just the beginning of sorrows (cp. Matthew 24:4-8).

Starting with unprecedented hatred, and betrayals of those who became Christ followers absent His protection. Because the age of grace, had ended. (cp. Matthew 24:9-12; absent the church, verses 13-14).

Monster of the Sea-Pt 7

Job somehow managed to maintain his spiritual integrity. Despite sternly, and being exceedingly vocal, as he cursed the day of his birth.

But, having the serenity of composure realizes the culprit of all of his agonies, Leviathan!

Faulting other evil spiritual agents of darkness, who are eager to rally around the kingpin of evil Leviathan! Wishing all them darkness never again to see the light of their evils. Meaning an absences of any awareness of Job’s loss of his business empire, death of  employees and his ten children. And his own failing physical health, that brought Job to the very edge of spiritual and mental composure.

Mocking them for not being able sabotage his birth. And even after his birth, those glutton’s of evil could not interfere with his spiritual or physical growth.

All would have ended for me just like Leviathan and  entourage silenced many other’s, who became their fallen prey. Becoming highly despised provocateur’s of this earth. Meaning those before the Hitler’s, Lenin’s, Stalin’s. and the Trumps of this world.

Reaching us today with their totalitarian instincts, intended to enrich themselves with wealth. While enhancing God denying realities. Ending sometime in the unknown future, when the man of sin takes center stage. Reeking such unknown havoc that God Himself must interfere, or all of humanity would perish.

You Leviathan couldn’t bring about my stillborn death. Like so many other’s destined to live lives of spiritual integrity for the betterment of God’s created planet. You Leviathan, are the god of this world, but your doom is certain, along with your horde of admirers non-human and human. Who work to deny God’s intended purposes for all people everywhere. A scriptural interpretation from Job 3:8-16. Redemption!

They go to a place created for the wicked where they’ll be conscious, but will cease from being troublesome. Death brings about a ceasing of evil. Foe and friend are at rest there together. They do not hear the voice of their oppressor, Leviathan. The small and great are there, but the servant is free from their master. A scriptural interpretation from Job 3:17-19.

Job wonders why is understanding given to me, who is in misery? Who longed for death, along with others, but death would not come! Who finally esteemed death, more than his previous prosperity, as likely  is, and will be the attitude of others in similar circumstances.

Concluding the day will come, when he finally finds his grave. But before that occurs, he wonders, why is life a hidden journey designed by God? Trapped by that awareness from morning onward during the course of the day. Declaring misery is mine, all day, much like the poring out of water.

For Job it wasn’t a surprise, because it was something he feared. Now here it is, his reality, and no end is in sight that might ease his misery, so Job says. Adamant over the reality that there is no relief, for trouble keeps coming.

This discussion was developed through a scriptural interpretation of Job 3:20-26.

It’s all about redemption. Not redeemed, so you can become one of us. It happens this way during the age of grace. Follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. And then notice versed 11-13, all of which creates the universality that so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world. They will in the next.

Monster of the Sea-Pt 6

Job despondent over his crushing circumstances, “Refuses to to curse God to His face,” (cp, Job 1:21-22), ‘As Satan wagered that he would.'”

Satan angered over his embarrassment wagers that Job, when push comes to shove brags, “He’ll do what ever is necessary save his life!” (cp. Job 2:4), So Satan inflicts his body with cancerous like tumors, (cp. Job 2:7).

These discussions are not just about Job’s life experiences. They are also designed to make readers aware of Satan’s powers. In chapter two, Satan can reek havoc with ones valued possessions and lifestyles. To the degree that Job cursed his very day of his birth, (cp. Job 3:1).

All in accordance with 1 Peter 5:8, the roaring beast seeking whom he may destroy. The lesson to be learned is that neither you, nor me, or anyone else is immune to such satanic attacks. That’s why it’s important to apply vigorously the contents of, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, which reads, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, scolding, and correction, and instruction in righteous living. That the people of God may be complete, and thoroughly equipped no matter what the situation.”

This is personal, because my mother was brutally murdered. At a very early age in infancy I started having angelic experiences. Though so very young, I experienced no fear. And learned that I was destined to become a Padre. At the time that meant nothing to me. But I drove my mother crazy with my obsession with her family Bible. To young to read, but not to young to be fascinated with its pictures.

It was a cold snowy and road ways were well iced. Standing on the porch with my mother. She put her arms around me and hugged me. And said, “Be a good boy,” and, I replied, “I will.” Our last expressions of enduring love.

Off I went pushing a large box filled with toy trains. Destination my god mother’s house, for a day of play with my cousins, and lots of hot chocolate. I remember sitting at her kitchen table just like it was yesterday. Aunt Ruth, stirring a huge bowl of hot chocolate while talking to me. It was the last good time that I was to have for over two decades.

Even today I mourn my mother’s death like it occurred yesterday. Convinced that it was Satan attempting to interrupt the angelic message from God Almighty. It almost worked, as I would eventually lead a dark life of evil, hooked up with sinister mobsters. Who ended up in prison, me too.

Fate takes its ironic twists  and turns. Through an unexpected situation, I saved the life of a New York mafia figure. We became very good friends. That often happens, when one saves another’s life.

I was showered with all kinds of gifts including a new Cadillac, and free dinners at Mafia controlled restaurants. Knowing his lawyers, I explained why, I couldn’t accept their gifts of gratitude. In return they gave me a have a free talk with anyone troubling me. Guaranteeing that the individual would see things my way. Never took them up on the offer, although I was tempted to do so. Some people are just so annoying!

The Mafia world is a most interesting world of self government. People get in trouble, when they step outside of agreed upon rules. And that’s how mob wars erupt.

A family might decide to infringe upon another family’s agreed upon business interest or territory. There are no courts to serve as arbitrators. Mafia bosses are the arbitrators. Penalties are always severe.

It’s misnomer to think that the Mafia is non-existent. They just made the necessary adjustments concerning business and territorial boundaries. It’s about money and survival. My friend lost his life in a shoot out with police. Yep! In New York City.

Strange as it might be this was my incarceration experience. And we know that all things work together for the good to those called according to His purpose.

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many others.

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He glorified.

What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered  Him up for everyone. How shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things we more than conquerors through Him who loved us. I am persuaded that neither death or life, nor angels, nor governments nor things present, nor things yet not known, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (cp. Romans 8:28-35;37-39).

on the world stage Leviathan pt 5

Job saddened by all that had occurred. A prosperous business destroyed, employees killed, a horrific storm causes the death of his ten children. Satan not through with him causes sores to appear upon his body. Driving Job to curse the day of his birth expressing devastating expressions for its obliteration from the consciousness of history.

All the above occurred because of a satanic challenges Satan argued before God. Job is faithful and worships you because you have made him wealthy. Stop protecting him and he’ll curse You to your face. Okay Satan, do him as you please. But with this exception. Do not lay a hand on him! That failed to get Job to curse God As we learned from a previous discussion Job praised and worships God.

That resulted in Satan given authority over Job’s body. With one exception Satan could not kill Job. And we know Job suffered to the extent that he wished that he had never been born. And we learned, Job final word on the matter was this expression. “Blessed be the name of the LORD!”

Suddenly Job seems to collect his equilibrium and focuses on the source of his troubles, Leviathan. Isaiah refers to Leviathan as a fleeing serpent. A reptile that lives in the sea. (cp. Isaiah 27:1).

Leviathan seems to be  sea creature of mysterious origins. Is there any association between Leviathan and Satan? Or are they one and the same?

This Padre sides with the notion that they are one and the same. Isaiah calls Leviathan a fleeing serpent. When the world was perfect, as were its only two inhabitants. Leviathan confronted those two people as a shape shifting reptile. Shape shifting because  this serpent could talk and reason. Shaping shifting because Leviathan could live in the oceans of the world, as well, as on land.

And what role does Leviathan play today, in the affairs of individuals and the global community? And could COVID-19 be of Leviathan’s shenanigans?

The intent of these discussions is to encourage  readers to exam life’s troubles from a coordinated attack of a shape shifting creature of the sea and land. And remember, his deceitful attacks can appear as wholesome. Paul wrote, “And no wonder, because Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light!” (cp. 2 Corinthians 11:14).

not the stuff of science fiction pt 4

From previous discussions we learned that Job was a prosperous business person. Living the good life and a happy father of ten children. But humanities arch enemy Satan while here, and canvassing the earth. It took notice of Job, and we don’t know what thoughts he held concerning Job.

But on a particular day most likely without invitation, it joined God’s council meeting with His trusted compatriots.

God spotted him, and asked, what do you think concerning Job my faithful follower? Satan replied, “Not impressed because Job is only faithful to you because you protect him, and see to it that he prospers.” So God replied, “He’s yours, do as you please, but don’t hurt him physically.

Immediately Satan, exited itself from God’s presences and attack Job. Ruining Job’s corporate empire, killing many of his employees, including his ten children

And, the outcome to Satan’s embarrassment must have infuriated him. Adding fury to his embarrassment was that Job bowed and worshiped God, and in no way faulted God for his losses.

Then the scenario repeats itself. This time Satan was told do as you please, but don’t kill him. Faster than a speeding bullet, Satan return to earth, and inflicted Job with torturous sores on his body.

Three of his closest friends came to comfort him. But seeing his grief, pain and suffering said nothing. Thinking that perhaps their presences might be source of comfort.

Scriptures used  to develop this discussion, Job chapters one and two.

Ever feel so distraught that your very existence haunts you? Well that’s how Job felt. Here Job verbalizes his feelings and  frustrations.

With defeated screams to the heavens cursing the very day of his birth. Yelling, “Let the day perish on which I was born, and the night in which it was said, a male child is born! Let that day be darkness! May God not value it, or give any significance to that day! May it be seen as a day of darkness! Let the shadow of death claim it for itself! Let a cloud cover it, and what makes the day dark terrify it! As for that night may darkness seize it; may it not ever be numbered as a time for rejoicing during the calendar year! Oh, that night might have been barren, so that no joyful shout resulted from it!” (cp. Job 3:1-7).

Hardships turning into grief captures all of us one way or another sometime during our lives, as it did Job.

Job was a person who had a personal relationship with God. And God favored Job, and told Satan that there was no one on the face of this earth like Job.

Through it all Job never blamed God for the hand of hardships and grief he experienced. He just mourned the day of his birth.

That’s the spiritual stamina we all need at various times during our lifetimes. It all starts by being a part of His family.

holy smoke round 3

Job, after experiencing excruciating horror managed to utter these words, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked will I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.” In all this Job did not sin, nor charge God with any wrong. (cp. Job 1:21-22).

To get the jest of what’s going on it might be helpful to read the previous two discussions, Introducing Satan and Satan Blooms.

One can only imagine how angry Satan was that Job remained faithful to his Creator. Despite his horrendous loss, which included the loss of his ten children.

Again there was a day when God’s sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD. With Satan joining them, and God spotted him. Waving to him, “Hey Satan where have you been?” Satan replied, “Canvassing the earth!”

“Quite a guy is my friend Job. Loyal to me in every aspect. There isn’t anyone like him. His integrity is unquestionable Despite the fact that you incited Me against him to destroy him without cause!”

Satan followed with this rebuttal, “Skin for skin! Yes all that a man has, he will give for his life. Go ahead, and inflict his body with severe diseases, and Job will curse you to your face!”

God replied, “Satan into your hands I commit him, but do not take his life!”

Satan exits God’s presences with the instant speed of time travel by thought. And immediately inflicting Job with painful sores from the sole of  his feet and on the top of his head.

Then Job’s wife confronts him, “Do you still maintain your integrity?” ‘Curse God and die!'” But he said to her, “You speak foolishly women! Shall we receive only good from God while not experiencing evil?” Still Job maintained his integrity and didn’t sin with his lips.”

When Job’s three friends heard the details of his unexpected adversity. They came to comfort and sympathize with him. When they approached Job, they were shocked.

They sat down with him for seven days. No one spoke a word because they saw Job’s grief was very great. (cp. Job 2:1-13).

Perhaps this was what sustained Job’s spiritual integrity. Recalling something similar to this scripture. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, and my God, in Him will I trust.'” (cp. Psalms 91:1-2).

It’s one thing to talk the walk, but it’s a far different experience to walk the talk. As Job, and many others have. The intent of these discussions is to encourage readers to prepare, and examine life’s troubles, from the perspective of a possible Satanic attack. There are two avenues available to be discovered. First, and foremost is to be one of His. Then to familiarize yourself with the prompts found in 2 Timothy 3:16.

So if, you are not one of us, now is the time to become a part of our Christ family. Follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10. Then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek.

Satan Blooms pt 2

After Satan finished his conversations with God, he departed. Whether he like it or not, God had put limits, as to what havoc Satan could inflict upon Job. God had told Satan that there was no other man like Job. Satan said, “O! ‘Come on God, be real, he’s righteous because you shield him from all dangers. Remove that shield, and he’ll curse you!'”

This discussion had it’s beginning yesterday. For clarity concerning this discussion, it’s suggested a review of that discussion. Because the purpose is to show the possible ramifications personally for us today.

This discussion will focus on the weapons Satan has as he heaped havoc upon Job. And there is no reason to conclude that they are not available today, to be used against, you or me, or against nation states. Extending Satan’s powers to cause regional wars, or global wars like the Great Wars of 20th century. And perhaps, the worlds current coronavirus. In the other words, Satan’s evil is universal, and unfathomable to human reasoning.

Satan orchestrated a theft of Job’s animals used to plow his farm lands. And killing all of his employees over seeing the plowing. One employees escaped, and reported this theft and the massacre.

And while he was sharing this news with Job, another employee surged into Job’s presences exhausted. Announcing that striking lightening from the heavens had ignited his barns, and all was lost, including human life.

Job no doubt stunned with such news. A third employee, who also managed to escape announces, “The Chaldean’s with three separate raiding parties had stolen all of his camels, and slaughtered his employees.”

The sadists of all news was about to occur. “Your sons and daughters while enjoying dinner together in their oldest brothers house. When suddenly, a great wind came from what appeared to be out of nowhere. Striking the house with unimaginable force causing it to collapse. Instantly killing your sons and daughters.”

Such sad news tore Job to smithereens. Job arose ripping of his clothes, and shaving his head. Then following to the ground to worship. Declaring, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

In all this Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrong.

The havoc reaping’s of Satan. From his varied arsenal is the ability to orchestrate armed raids, theft and murder. Sparing lives for the sole purpose informing Job of one tragedy after another. Whipping up a humongous storm completely destroying a house and Job’s sons and daughters.

Lessons to be learned is Satan can orchestrate equivalent occurrences to attack and destroy. Always with the intention to destroy anyone’s faith in God.

Job withstood Satan’s devastating onslaughts. The question is could you, or I, or could anyone else have the resiliency of Job? So perhaps it might be helpful that when things go wrong, remember who might be behind such troubles. And recalling Job’s example, praise God, for who He is.

The scriptures used for this discussion came from Job chapter one verses 1-22. It’s secret for overcoming came from 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Everything goes better through a personal relationship with Jesus. So if you are not one of us, now might be the time to join our Christ family. Follow the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10, then notice verses 11-13. All of which creates the universality so many are seeking. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next. Blessings!

introducing Satan pt-1

A menace provocateur of greatness, for it’s recorded, “Be aware, and vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may destroy. (cp. 1 Peter 5:8).

And, there is no reason to think that any human being has not been his target!

So lets take a journey into the ancient past and take a look at one of Satan’s targets. Let no one think, well that’s ancient stuff, and has no applicability in a modern society. Wrong, because this writer has been subjected to his viciousness.

That’s what has prompted this discussion. His intellect and physical power is well not understood. And there will be scoffers and mockers, who will think that such nonsense is a laughing matter. And, that will be to their shame. Because a time will come, when they will talk a very different talk.

Paul writing to Timothy and you and me, “I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and within His kingdom.” (cp. 2 Timothy 4:1).

There was a man whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and righteous, who feared God and avoided evil.

He had seven sons and three daughters. And Job was extremely wealthy.

There was a day when God’s sons came to present themselves before the LORD. And Satan, came also came among them to present himself before the LORD.

And the LORD asked Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan replied, “From going back and forth in the earth, and walking up and down in it.”

Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My friend Job? There is no one like him in the earth, a blameless, and an upright man. One who fears God and turns away from evil.”

So, Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not made a hedge around his house, and all that he has on every side? You have prospered the works of his hands, and his wealth has increased. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”

And the LORD said to Satan, “Behold all that he has is within your power!” Do not lay a hand on his person!” So Satan went out from the presences of God.

The aforementioned has developed from Job 1:1-12, unless other scriptures have been cited.

Consider the following because there is no reason to doubt, that Satan has had like conversation with God, concerning all of us.

All of that should give new meaning to the following scripture. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the people of God may be completely, and thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (cp. 2 Timothy 3:16).

Hopefully readers now know that Satan is more than some make believe creature that haunts the world during the days of the Halloween season. Knowing now that Satan engages in conversations with our Creator to destroy us. And that God curtails his destructive powers, but nevertheless, Satan can make ones live miserable. And that the remedy for believers is found through 2 Timothy 3:16.

Not one of us who believe? Join our Christ family by following the prompts found in Romans 10:9-10, and then notice verses 11-13. All of which creates the universality that so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

spirituality of nature

“The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to be outside. Somewhere where they can be alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be, and that God wishes to see happy people, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As long as this exist, and it certainly will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And, I firmly believe, that nature brings solace in all troubles,” Anne Frank, The Diary of a young girl.

When I read, what Anne Frank wrote, this writer immediately connected with her experience. Because creation, and nature have always been sources of enduring solace, when circumstances seem overwhelming. They just purify me like an uninterrupted night of sleep.

What’s at work here that brings about such wholesomeness? It’s multiple faceted because it’s the Spirit of God bearing witness that to deny all that the heavens reveal in itself is a sentence of guilt and thus condemnation concerning the redemptive needs of all mortals. For it’s recorded, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen. Being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” (cp, Romans 1:20).

The next facet, we the redeemed experience is the witness of God’s Spirit and we are reinvigorated. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.” (cp. Psalms 19:1-4a).

“In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run its race. It’s rising is from one end of heaven, and its circuit to the other end, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.” (cp. Psalms 19:4b-6).

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things  which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” (cp. Hebrews 11:3).

All such awareness brings about a rejuvenation from stress, and other ills inflicted from being subjected to daily demands encountered daily. For which there is no explainable commentary, because it must be experience. Experienced through the witness of God’s Spirit which dwells in all of us. But is only brought to reality though our redemption by Him.

it is a matter of attitude

“Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learned that whatever state I may be in, therein to be content,” Blind and Deaf Helen Keller.

“Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labor of the olive tree may fail, and fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” (cp. Habakkuk 3:17-18).

“The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills.” (cp. Habakkuk 3:19).

The Apostle Paul, “Not that I speak in regard to need. For I have learned that whatever state I find myself, I am to be content.” (cp. Philippians 4:11).

“Thrust in the LORD, and to good. Dwell in the land and feed off of His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” (cp. Psalms 37:3-5).

Psalms 37: 3-5, should be seen in the light of some personal struggle, as iterated in verses 6-10.

All of the aforementioned reference various states of troubling anxiety. The lesson to be learned is that it’s a spiritual process which results in contentment. And, it may not be instantaneous.

Jesus put it this way, “Blessed are those, who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. (cp. Matthew 5:6).

But it only applies to people, who have experienced His righteousness. Scoffers, and Christ deniers will always suffer from various anxieties which are a leading cause of suicides. Satisfying contentment can only be found through the Christ redemptive process.

on with life no matter what the circumstances

“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision. Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light. What we once enjoyed, we can never lose. Character can not be developed in ease and comfort. Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge in the light,” Blind and Deaf Helen Keller.

For individuals, and nation states one nation at a time. “Therefore, if any one is in Christ, they become new creations. Old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new!” (cp. 2 Corinthians 5:17).

Immediately, “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the responsibility for the reconciliation of others.” (2 Corinthians 5:18).

Sometimes it can be done by the way you live. Note: “Now thanks be to God who leads us in triumph through Christ. And through us, diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God, the fragrance of Christ among those who are His, and among those who are not. To one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to others the aroma of life leading to life. And, who is sufficient to understand such things?” (cp. 2 Corinthians 2:14-16).

Concerning sufficiency, no one. Our responsibility is to live the live, and or, share the scriptures. One is silent while the other vocal. Both described as His aroma.

Who most likely, in either case is the Holy Spirit. “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (cp. John 3:8).

The Christ like walk is as effective, as it is mysterious. As noted, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword. Piercing even to the very soul and spirit (the soul is our consciousness and the spirit is the presence of God in every human being) piercing also the joints and marrow, ( our entire body) and is a discerner of our thoughts and intentions of our heart. (cp. Hebrews 4:12).

Helen Keller’s other room ours also

“Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there’s a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room, I shall be able to see,” Helen Keller.

Now, I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven, and the first earth passed away.

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with His human creation. And He will be with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself, will be with them, and will be their God.

And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for all the former things have passed away.”

Then, He who sat on the throne said, “Behold!” ‘I make all things new!'” (cp. Revelation 21:1a and verses 3-5a).

As a passionate admirer of Ms. Keller, having reflected upon vast testimonies. With certainly, this writer is sure that she wasn’t issuing fine sounding babble. But rather the newness of life that can only be experienced through Christ Jesus. Therefore, in this new heaven sight and hearing will be hers.

Blessings for one and all, Amen!

mortal like us but wiser than most

Finally, Pilate had observed enough of the torturing of this brave man. Saying, “Behold I am bringing Him to you that you may know that I find not fault in Him!”

Jesus made His way out to meet His executioners. Wearing a painful crown of thrones a purple robe.

Pilate made one last statement to them, “Behold the Man!’ Signaling his profound respect for such a courageous man. Concluding, that Jesus was more the just a mortal like Himself.

A better self, thus a better world if our populace arrived at such a conclusion. There are some things in this world that can’t be learned. They have to be experienced.

Not one of us, who have concluded that Jesus was more than just a mortal man. Become one of us by following the prompts in Romans 10:9-10, then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek. And if our paths don’t cross in this world, they will in the next.

change makers

“You can’t get through a single day with out having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make,” Jane Goodall.

The kind of difference we make is best accomplished as follows, “While we do not look at things which are seen, but at things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal; “Have I not told commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (cp. Joshua 4:18; 2 Corinthians 4:18).

So then, we can all become difference makers. Help comes from the unseen called Divine Providence. Diverse, and always unique, especially tailored for the Christ follower.

Around two days ago (cp. 2 Peter 3:8), John saw seven golden lampstands and in the midst of the seven lampstands stood Jesus, referred to as the Son of Man.

Clothed uniquely, and characterized as One whom one should avoid getting on His bad side.

John also saw seven stars held high in His right hand. Seeing what could be the militarization of a combat tested ready deity.  His complete demeanor was frightful emitting an aurora of one to be feared. All this to much for John scared for his life, he fell at His feet as dead.

Unexpectedly, He placed Right hand on John’s shoulder and said to him, “Don’t be afraid, I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead. And behold I am alive forever more, Amen!” “And I have the keys to Hades (hell) and of death!” (cp. Revelation 1:12-18).

Jesus expanding upon the seven stars, and the seven golden lampstands declared, “The mystery of the seven stars which you saw, and the seven golden lampstands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.” (cp. Revelation 1:20)

Verse 13 informes us that the one in the midst of the lampstands was Jesus Christ flanked by angels, v. 20.

That was then, so what about the now? Ephesians 1:22, tells us that God appointed Jesus to be the head of the church (you and me). Which is the fullness of Him (the Father) who satisfies all in one.

Some things are timeless, so lets take a journey back in history to the Chronicles where we have this recorded, “The eyes of the LORD run to and fro through out the whole earth, to show Himself strong in behalf of those heart is loyal to Him.”

We know that those stars are symbolic to angels often used by God to serve His interest like you and me. So this is recorded for us, “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who will inherit salvation?” (cp. Hebrews 1:14).

For He shall give His angels charge over you. To keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up with their hands. Lest you dash your foot against a stone.” (cp. Psalms 91:11-12).

Experience is a great teacher, and this Padre, can attest to having had multiple angelic experiences. Remember that angles are His ambassadors sent to aid us as necessary. They are not to be worshiped because worship is reserves only for our Creator and Redeemer.

how the merry go round works

Time for a dive into the possible, as to why the impossible is made possible. Sometimes it happened when family and friends thought that death had occurred. But Jesus tagged the apparent deceased as sleeping.

A man pleaded with Jesus to come to his house. Telling Jesus that his daughter had just died. Believing that Jesus could restore life into his deceased daughters body. Upon arriving, Jesus announced, “Be of good cheer, your daughter is not dead, but is sleeping.” Taking her by the hand, she arose. Amazing the on lookers causing the miracle to spread through out the community. (cp. Matthew 9:18-19; 23-26).

A woman who had a health issue for twelve years followed Jesus thinking to herself, “If I can just touch the hem of His clothing, I’ll be healed.” Jesus being aware of her thoughts, turned around, and when He saw her, He said, “Be of good cheer daughter your faith has made you well!” And the woman was made well from that hour. (cp. Matthew 9:20-22).

As Jesus traveled two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David have mercy upon us!” And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes Lord!” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you!” And, their eyes were opened. (cp. Matthew 9:27-30a).

A paralytic lying in a bed was brought to Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you.” (cp. Matthew 9:1-2).

What’s of foremost of importance is that ones sins are forgiven. So, if your not one of us, now is the time to become a part of our Christ family. Follow the prompts found in Romans 10: 9-10. and then notice verses 11-13, all of which creates the universality so many seek.

But Jesus wasn’t through with the paralytic. From a detour that had occurred. Jesus was able to perceive the negative thoughts of some of the communities hierarchy. So He said to them, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?’ For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk?’ ‘But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins.'”

Then Jesus said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go into your house.” And, he arose and went into his house. (cp. Matthew 9:1-7).

It doesn’t matter what the situation might be because whether it’s a condition of suspected death, tagged by Jesus as one sleeping, or disabling health condition, or the forgiveness of sin. All is in the providence of Jesus. It is to the glory of God that that the Son of God may be glorified through it. (cp. John 11:4; Matthew 9:6).

A contributing factor seen through all of those situations was faith.

Paul defines faith as hope, “But if we hope for what we cannot see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” (cp. Romans 8:25).

Paul further says this about faith. “Now faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen.”

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for they who come to God must believe that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (cp. Hebrews 11:1;3;6).

Patience is important because what we think as being a long time is a blink of time with God.

Because lack of patience can interrupt faith because faith should be understood through time. Peter advised, “But beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, a day thousand years as one day.” (cp. 2 Peter 3:8).

Think in terms of the crucifixion of Christ two thousand years ago by our timing, by God’s timing two days ago.

Confirming an ancient proverbs, patience is a virtue, and good things happen to those who wait.

the whereabouts of death D

Typical day for Jesus, the healing of the sick, sharing with people what they were thinking, continuing to select His band of twelve, experiencing condemnation for the company He keeps, challenged by John’s followers, as to why those associated with Him don’t fast. Amidst all of that, Jesus found time to teach.

So while still teaching, a person of prominence joined the others. Concluding that Jesus was the answer for his grief concerning the death of his daughter who had just died. Begging Jesus to come to his residence just to lay His Hand upon her. Convinced that if Jesus did that, life would be restored to his daughter. So Jesus, and His disciples journeyed to his residence.

Arriving Jesus saw many people sharing Dads grief. He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but is just sleeping.” And, they ridiculed Him!

The crowd was ushered out of the house. Jesus went in, and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all the land. (cp. Matthew 9:1-15;19-26).

Three previous discussions described death as an understandable phenomenon, but not from the traditional perspective. Rather it’s from a Biblical perspective, the loosing of the silver cord. Much can be learned from the reading and study of those discussions.

For tomorrow, a possible reason, as to why death escapes some through what Jesus tagged as a sleep.

And as can be expected, many secularists ridicule such a notion, because that’s how they treated Jesus, and those of us who side with Jesus today.

Though death beyond sleeping means its over for the body. Which just disintegrates into a substance it came the dust of the earth. (cp. Ecclesiastes 12:7a). It’s not over for the spirit or soul. The spirit returns to God, who gave it. (cp. Genesis 2:7; Ecclesiastes 12:7b).

The Soul is dispatched to Hades. Described as being in a gulf that separates some into comfort and others to great discomfort. There is sense of awareness between the two groups. Which is to be expected, because our Soul is our consciousness. (cp. Like 16:19-31).

But it doesn’t end there, because every soul will be resurrected and given life. “I have hope in God, …, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both the just and unjust.” (cp. Acts 24:15).

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one of us may receive the things done in the body, according to what we had done, whether good or bad. (cp. 2 Corinthians 5:10).

Said Jesus, “Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in their graves will hear His voice. And come forth, and those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.” (cp. John 5:28-29).

And from one very close to Jesus, saying, then, I saw a great white throne, and He that sat on it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And, books were opened. One of which was the Book of Life. From it the dead where judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Then the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works.

Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (cp. Revelation 20:11-15).

the whereabouts of death – C

This is the third discussion concerning death. In those previous discussions death was dealt with. And shown that a lack of vital signs, may or, may not mean that a death had occurred. Yesterday it was shown how the finality of death occurs.

Now we need an authoritative source to support such a thesis concerning death. And, that source is Jesus!

Jesus was on His way to Bethany, which was a short distance to the East of the city. He was going there to have dinner with Mary and her sister Martha and their brother Lazarus.

While on His way, He had learned that His friend Lazarus was sick and later died. Jesus didn’t pay much attention to the news of his death. So little that He arrived at Mary’s house days later.

Mary was very special to Jesus. It was Mary who used an expensive liquid oil to massage His feet. And then, used her hair to dry them. According to the Gnostic gospels, Mary was His wife. And why not, after all it was, He Himself, who declared His humanism. (cp. John 1:14; Hebrews 2:14; Hebrews 4:15).

After the brutal murder of Jesus, according to the Gnostic Bible it was Mary, who kept the men focused on their mission, because they wanted to call it quits. And of course, the male dominated church has always minimized the spiritual forcefulness of women.

So no one should expect the King James Bible to contain books exalting women’s heroism’s. After all it was mortal men, who canonized the, King James Bible, as the word of God. Ignoring any Biblical books that would under mind male superiority. Histories sad journey!

Concerning Lazarus sickness, Jesus said, “His sickness is not unto death, it is for the glory of God, that the Son may be glorified though it.” (cp. John 11:4). Most Interesting!

There was some conversations as to whether or not it was safe to keep that dinner date. Finally Jesus said, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, and I must go and wake him up.” And His associates wanted to know, if Lazarus would get well?

Finally, Jesus declared to them, Lazarus our friend is dead!

When Jesus arrived, He learned that Lazarus had already been dead four days.

Martha was the first to approach Jesus and said to Him, “Lord if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” Jesus responded, “Your brother will rise again.

Later, Martha sought out Mary and said to her, “The Teacher has come, and is waiting for you.

Hurriedly, Mary scampered to greet Jesus, seeing Him she fell down at His feet. Looking up at Jesus she wept saying, My Lord, “Had you been here, my brother would not have died.”

Jesus was emotionally troubled, as He saw her weeping. So Jesus asked those who accompanied her, “Where have you laid him?” And they responded, “Come and see.” And Jesus wept!

Then Jesus approached the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus commanded, “Remove the stone!”

Martha, Lazarus’ sister interrupted, and said to Jesus, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days!”

Then they removed the stone. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that you always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that you sent Me.” And that is the answer to paragraph eight. And the comment, “Most Interesting!”

Then Jesus commanded with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”

What a stunning sight, for he, who had died came forth bound in grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Boisterously Jesus said, “Loose him, and let him go!”

In order to grasp the significance of what had occurred, the previous two discussions, should not only be read, but studied.

Just because a persons vital signs can’t be detected doesn’t mean that that person has died. Death occurs when the silver cord is loosed, and the spirit returns to God. (cp. Ecclesiastes 12:6-7).

How long can a person show no signs of life and still be alive. It’s unknown, apart from the four days Lazarus spent in his grave. (cp. John 11:1-44).

the whereabouts of death – B

Death the last known encounter one engages in before exiting this world. But, when does death occur? Not always, when life’s vital signs fail to register. The suspected corpse may not be dead, just sleeping. It is not an unknown phenomenon!

Those, who practice in the mortuary sciences certainly don’t want that to get out, because it could be bad for business.

How long could one be just sleeping? Perhaps as long as long as four days, maybe longer. We’ll take a look at those incidences most likely tomorrow.

The reader might find yesterday’s discussion helpful. During pregnancy the unborn maintains life through its umbilical cord. The life stream between the the unborn and their Creator. Ones umbilical cord is of human origin. Divine Intelligence declares it to be the following. And, is the standard for when one dies.

“Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl is broken. or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the well. (cp. Ecclesiastes 12:6). Then the body declared to be dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God, who gave it.” (cp, Ecclesiastes 12:7).

Even after birth, when that life stream is disconnected, the God force remains within us. Death occurs, after that God force leaves its temple the human body. When, does that occur? It varies! But it is certain, as noted above.

Our Creator had this recorded for all of us. “For a thousand years in your sight, are like yesterday, when it is past, and like a watch in the night, you carry them away like a flood. They are like a sleep in the morning. They are like grass which grows up, in the evening it is cut down and withers.” (cp, Psalms 90:4-6).

“The days of our lives are seventy years, and if by reason of strength they are eighty years. Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off.” (cp. Psalms 90:10).

“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (cp. Psalms 90:12). And let this be known, “Since their days are determined, the number of their months is with You. You have appointed their limits, so that they cannot exceed them.” Job 14:5).

During this excursion called life a variety of help is available. “He shall give His angels charge over you. To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” (cp. Psalms 91:11-12).

And in the interim of this experience called life, this is recorded. “Vanity of vanities says the Preacher, all is vanity. And because the Preacher was wise, He still taught the people knowledge; yes, He pondered and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; so that what was written was upright and were words of truth.” (cp. Ecclesiastes 12:8-10).

“The words of the wise are like prodding’s, and the words of scholars are like well driven nails given by one Shepard. And furthermore, He admonished the making of many books  there is no end, and much studying is wearisome to the body.” (cp. Ecclesiastes 12:11-12).

“So lets hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments, for this is everyone’s all. For God will bring every work into judgement, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.” (cp. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).
