the good fight

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one of us may receive what is our due for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. (cp. 2 Corinthians 5:10).

Good or bad explained: The judgment seat of Christ is about ones contribution to the various causes of Christ. Scriptures often frame them as works.

It has nothing to do with the ones redemptive experience through Christ. They are two very different experiences. For example, this Padre’s primary focus is upon serving the various needs of the poor and homeless.

Also serving as an advocate for people concerning their multiple needs and circumstances. None of them, no matter how good, successful or not has anything to do with my redemptive experience in and through Christ Jesus.

Good, bad successful or not is explained in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. Which reads, For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if anyone builds this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay or straw.

Everyone’s works will become clear, for the Day of judgment will declare it. Because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

If anyone’s work is burned, he she will suffer loss, but he she will be saved, yet through fire.

Judgments is about works and not one’s salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Note: Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the councils of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God. (cp. 1 Corinthians 4:5).

Then like the, Apostle Paul, this to will be our declaration. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give to me on that Day, and not to me only, but also to all, who have loved His coming. (cp. 2 Timothy 4:5-8).

Power of the Word: It shall be health to your body and nourishment to your bones. (cp. Proverbs 3:8).

So shall My word be that goes out of my mouth. It shall not return to Me void. It will accomplish what I please! (cp. Isaiah 55:11).

How: The wind blows where it wishes. You hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from or where it will go. (cp. John 3:8).
