“The boundries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where one ends, and the other begins,” Edgar Allan Poe. The Premature Burial
Unfortunately for Poe, and millions of others reaching us today. Were, and are not students of biblical knowledge. Because the scriptures are very clear. For a detailed primer concerning the origins of life from dust read, “Humanities Varied History,” published, 11 December 2020.
And also in that process this occurred, “And the LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. (cp. Genesis 2:7).
And, we know that man as Adam, and Adam became the most intelligent man ever to grace this planted. Because, he was created in the image of God. (cp. Genesis 1:26). And just by thinking he could travel great distances. Because that’s what Christ was able to do.
This Padre, believes that the following is perhaps two of the greatest conversation to have ever occurred. It’s a convesation between Jesus and Mary Magdalene and His disciples. (Note the instantaneous appearance of Jesus).
But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she looked down into the tomb. And saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet of Jesus, where the body of Jesus had lain.
Then they said to her, “Woman why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my LORD, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”
She supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid laid Him, and I will take Him away.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, Rabboni!” (which is to say Teacher).
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father and you Father, but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am asending to My Father and your Father and to My God and your God.'” (cp. John 20:11-17).
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors where shut where the disciples were assembled. For fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood and stood in the midst of them and said to them, “Peace be with you!”
(Note the doors were shut, and Jesus not knocking or let in just appeared instantly in the midst of them). (cp. John 20:19).
And that will be our experience, if redeemed by beleiving in His death and resurrection.
In the days of COVID-19, and uglyness of donald j trump, no matter what, we have the same responsibity as did His disciples. Saying, “Peace be to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” (cp. John 20:21).
Despite the ugliness of the here and now, this is our life and future experience.
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagarly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who will transform our lowly body that it may be transformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He ia able to subdue all things to himself. (cp, Philippians 3:20-21).
But there is a sometime process about all of the aforemetioned, which blinded Poe, and many others, its called death. The Bible announces, “And its appointed for men to die.” (cp. Hebrews 9:27a). “You take away their breath and they die and return to dust.” (cp. Psalms 104:29b). “And, the spirit will return to God who gave it.” (cp.Ecclesiastes 12:7b).
And that concludes an analogy between life and death. But there is a lot more to death, which is for another discussion.
