“Fear isn’t so difficult to understand. After all weren’t we all frightened as children? Nothing has changed since Little Red Riding Hood faced the big bad wolf. What frightens us today is exactly the same sort of thing that frightened us yesterday. It’s just a different wolf. This fright complex is in every individual,” Alfred Hitchcock.
The first recorded instance of fear occurred at the dawn of human beginnings. It goes this way. And they heard the sound of God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and Eve hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees in the garden.
Then the LORD called to Adam and said to him, where are you?” Adam answered, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself.” Which brought an immediate response, “Who told you that you were naked, and have you done what I instructed you not to do? And the blame game started, the woman made me do it! (cp. Genesis 3:8-13). Fear is a God created psychological mechanism that alerts us to potential danger.
Adam and Eve were created in the image of their Creator. Perfect beings with unimaginable capabilities. Just like their Creator. An awareness that is almost impossible for us to understand today. However, our Creator has provided us with a glimpse of the realities that await us in the future. (cp. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53).
Those citations declares that our corruptible bodies will be changed. And, we will be provided bodies that will be immortal. Every thing that has dogged us like fear will be gone. In other words, we’ll be in the image of our Creator.
However, there is one caveat, it will not be universal. It’s only for those, who have become apart of the Christ family. It has nothing to do with church association. But everything to do with His birth, life, death, and His resurrection from the among the dead.
Haven’t made life’s most important decision? Here’s how, go to Romans 10:9-11 and follow the prompts. Don’t have a Bible here are the prompts. Confess with your mouth the Jesus is Lord, and believe that God raised Him from the dead. And, you will be saved because with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confessions is made unto salvation. For the scriptures says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.
We will sing, “O death where is your sting? O Hades where is your victory.” Giving thanks to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (cp. 1 Corinthians 15:55-56).
