Two cons became friends in prison. One makes a daring, and successful prison break, and escapes to Mexico. The other finally paroled. Andy had left a letter for his friend, Red, in which he wrote. “… Meantime have a drink on me and do think it over. I will be keeping an eye out for you. Remember hope is a good thing, Red, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies. I will be hoping that this letter finds you well.”
Red in refection, “I hope Andy is down there. I hope, I can cross the border. I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope,” Stephen King-The Shawshank Redemption.
They say, “Hope Springs Eternal,” having an import not apparent human awareness. And, as such it can’t be explained, it can only experienced.
We, no matter, who, or what condition one finds themselves this is how hope is experienced. Anything that is seen is not hope. Then why does one still hope for what one can’t see? Hope has many avenues of desire. It’s the creative imagination within us that is world changing. It is the silent nudging from God. The ultimate hope because it is life transforming. And can lead to worlds unimagined until experienced. (cp. Romans 8:24-25).
This is the hope of this discussion. Through Him you believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. (cp. 1 Peter 1:21).
With this mysticism unfolds in ways beyond human comprehension. It must be accepted by faith and expressed as hope that springs eternal. Because of its unexplainable life transforming power.
Making hope the best of things and no good thing ever dies. And in the providence of time, this mystical force caused it all . “So shall My word that goes out of my mouth; it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (cp. Isaiah 55:11). With Romans 8:24-25 and 1 Peter 1:21 occurring like this. “The wind blows where it will, and you hear the sound of it, but can’t tell from where it came from and where it will go; so is everyone that is born of the spirit.” (cp. John 3:8).
