sometimes the less said the better

“All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish a single candle,” St. Francis of Assisi.

Works well, when it shines like this, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved, and among those who are perishing.” (cp. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

And from the Master Himself, “We are the light of the world.” And as such, ‘Like a city that is set on a hill our light cannot be hidden,'” (cp. Matthew 5:14).

Bright and bold in a quite way because light bearers shine everywhere. And as that light we serve our families, neighbors and community with kindness because good works matter. Because it is all about glorifying our Father in heaven. (cp. Matthew 5:15-16).

“Because we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before hand that we such walk in them.” (cp. Ephesians 2:10).
