In honor of Black History month the times of, George Washington Carver, 01 January 1864 – 05 January 1943. A life span of 79 years.
“My prayers seem to be more of an attitude than anything else. I indulge in very little lip service, but ask the Great Creator silently daily, and often many times a day to permit me to speak to Him the great Kingdoms of the world which He has created – the animal, mineral and vegetable Kingdoms – to understand there relations to each other, and our relations to them, and to the great God, who made all of us. I ask Him daily and often momentarily to give wisdom, understanding and bodily strength to do His will; hence I am asking all the time,” George Washington Carver, scientist and inventor.
And so it is written, “The days of our lives are seventy years, and if reason of strength they are eighty years. Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” See Psalms 90:10.
So in the interim pray, “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalms 90:12.
