Here are two short stories, one of magnificence’s and the other not so magnificent. We know this because Isaiah was privileged to see Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple.
Above it stood seraphim’s; each one had six wings. He covered his face. With two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to the another, and said, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.
So I said, “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips. And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.”
Then one of the seraphim’s flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.”
Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And he said, “Go and tell this people. Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive. Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.”
Then I said, “Lord how long?” And he answered, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, the houses are without man, the land is desolate.
The LORD has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land. But yet a tenth will be in it, and will return and be for consuming. As a terebinth tree or as an oak, whose stump remains when it is cut down. So the holy seed shall be its stump.” Texts:Isaiah 6:1-13.
What you have read is a duel prophecy. It has direct applications to both Israel and nations born of Jacob’s anointing of Ephraim, for the birth of Great Britain and her Commonwealth of Nations. And Manasseh, who separated himself from Great Britain, and landed on the ocean shores of what would become the United States. But as an eagle, then given the legs and made to stand up as a man. Material previously discussed and explained.
In the providence of divine judgment Jesus was born. As a man, Jesus became quite the history maker through story telling. And this time he confirmed what was shared with Isaiah. It goes this way. He was asked what a particular story meant. Answering, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to those outside, review yesterday’s discussion, all things come in parables. So that seeing they may not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them.” Texts:Mark 4:11-12.
Have you ever wondered or, asked yourself, why isn’t the United States directly mentioned in the Bible? It is, as demonstrated today and in previous discussions in this series.
Many have heard about the final world war called Armageddon. Along with the return of Jesus to sit on his father’s throne in Jerusalem, as King of Kings. But unknown to many is the unimportance of the United States during this time of agony and bliss. That should raise some questions, as to why? And equally significant, it should raise a considerable amount of fear.
Discussing the contents of such subject matters will be the focus of future discussions.
A few lines above it was said that the United States has been directly mentioned in the Bible. True it is! But it rather obscure because it’s hidden from the unseeing and to those made scripturally deaf. And compounded, by the affliction lacking understanding. But it’s readily there, for those whose sins have been healed.
From a geopolitical perspective America is seen as these United States, and its citizens are declared to be Americans. But God doesn’t recognize ideologies of humanness; instead God refers to the United States as the Daughter of Babylon, and her citizens as Chaldeans.
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. This padre is not that teacher. He is the instrument chosen to lead students to that teacher. And that teacher is the Word of God. Seeing, hearing and understanding arrives when that notion is absorbed. Otherwise there will be confusion and contradictions over what the Word, Jesus is saying. A disease plaguing Christendom; and attributed to Satan, who walks to and fro and up and down the earth, again from a recent discussion.
Tomorrow the discussion about identifying the United States as the Daughter of Babylon and what it means.
