Charley, a new retiree greater at Wal-mart couldn’t seem to get to work on time. Every day he was 5,10, 15 minutes late. But he was a good worker, really tidy, clean shaven, sharp minded and a real credit to the company.

One day the boss called him into the office for a talk. “Charlie, I have to tell you. I like your work ethic, you do a fantastic job, but your being late so often is bothersome. I know you’re retired from the Armed Forces. What did they say, if you came in late there?”

They said, “Good morning, General, coffee this morning sir?” (source:Patriot Humor)

a change in attitude

After a back and forth discussion between Divine Providence and Ananias. Finally Jesus said to Ananias, “Go for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings and the children of Israel. For I will show him, many things he must suffer for My names sake.”

Wow! What a mouthfui and it’s unfortunate that most of the populace doesn’t have a clue, as to what had been said. Mostly, because the religionist within the church have screwed things up so badly. That more, and more people just dont’t want anything to do with religion of any stripe.

From apprehension, and fear, Ananias goes to the home of Judas. There he finds the blinded Saul. Having feared Saul because of his infamous hatred for the people of the Way. He now greets him as one of them. Saying, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Then the astonishing occurred because something fell from his eyes like scales. And he, regained his ability to see immediately. And then, he was baptized.

This padre has been pretty much paraphrased the events before and after Saul’s change of attitude which reaches back several recent discussions. For a quick review see Acts 9:1-18. But if you have the time those recent discussions are worthy reads. As will be the following two. Because they set the stage for finishing off the discussion as to how things got so bad. Cultivating with the finishing touches of discussions concerning Islam. The absolute worse scourge ever known to humanity. Superseding the evils Nazism through exponential ways!

As discussed previously, this padre honors Paul as the greatest churchman to have ever lived. Yet these discussions refer to him as Saul. That’s because when Jesus conversed with him, he called him Saul. And when Ananias visited him, he addressed him as Brother Saul.

For Saul, we don’t have an absolute declaration as to how he became known as Paul. Perhaps he thought a name change would make him less of a threat to the Jewish community. It makes sense because he wanted to be all things to all people. See 1Corninthians 9:19-23. And he referred to himself, as Paul, see Ephesians 1:1. As did Peter, in one of his epistles, see 2 Peter 3:15-16.

parallels a fox a goat a muslim and Jeremiah

A fox tumbled into a water tank and could not get out. Along came a thirsty goat, and seeing the fox asked him if the water was good. The fox jumped at the chance. He sang the praises of the water with all the eloquence at his command, and urged the goat to come down. The goat was so thirsty that he went down without stopping to think and drank his fill.

Then they began to consider how they were going to get up again. I have a good idea, said the fox. That is, if you are willing to do something to help us both. Be so kind as to place your forefeet against the wall and hold your horns straight up.Then I can nip up, and pull you up too. The goat was glad enough to comply. The fox clambered nimbly over his haunches, shoulders and horns. The fox reached the top of the tank and ran off.

The goat complained that he had broken their compact. But, he only came back to say. You must have more hairs in your beard than brains in your head, my friend. Otherwise you would not have gone down without thinking of how you were going to get up. Source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-“Look Before You Leap”

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I the Lord search the heart. I test the conscience giving every person according to their ways, and according to the fruit of their doings. As the partridge sits on eggs and does not hatch them. People who profit (like Muslims) but not by right. Shall leave them in the midst of their days. And in the end, they shall be the fool. Jeremiah 17:9-11.

when the unexpected occurs

Several days ago John saw a parchment rolled upon two cylinders and bound by seven seals. With an angel asking, “Who was worthy to loosen the seals so that the contents on the parchment could be read?” No one was found worthy. Not in heaven, or on the earth or under the earth. From Revelation 5:1-4.

It stressed John to tears sensing that the parchment contained important information that needed to be known and perhaps circulated. What can be done, oh! what can I do? Then remembering, “He will give His angels charge over you. To keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up with their hands. Lest you dash your foot against a stone. See Psalms 91:11-12 and Hebrews 13:2.

Instantaneously one of the elders said to John, “Do not weep. Behold the Lion of tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the the scroll and to loose its seven seals,” verse 5.

In the midst of the throne, and surrounded by four living creatures along with some elders. Stood a Lamb though it had been slain. Having seven horns and seven eyes which were the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth, verse 6. An exegeses concerning those seven horns and seven eyes was done recently. Along with one of their expeditions to earth. See discussion, “Strangers In Our Midst,” 12 May 2017.

Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne, verse 7.
Now when He had taken the scroll, the 4 living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down be before the Lamb. They had harps and golden bowls with incense used when praying for the saints. They sung a new song. Singing worthy you are to take the scroll and to open its seals. FOR YOU WERE SLAIN AND HAVE REDEEMED US TO OUR GOD BY YOUR BLOOD. From every kindred, tongue, people and nation. And you have made us kings and priests to our God. And we shall reign on the earth, verses 8-10.

The above was meant to be a discussion about how the seemingly impossible can occur. And what follows below represents the benefits, when the improbable becomes probable.
It should be taken literally that people once redeemed through His blood are special to God. And are likened as kings and priests in a world He will bring about at a future time. And it also should be accepted as to be a real occurrence.

The emphasis with this discussion is upon the unexpected roll angels play in the affairs of we mortals. After all it was an angel, who asked is anyone to break the seven seals that secured the scroll. And then, one was found worthy. Most of the time without our awareness or permission. With the redeemed by Christ, just beginning a futuristic journey of power and authority. Combine the two thoughts of this paragraph with the following. “But Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those who did not seek Me. I was made manifest to those who did not ask of Me.” See Romans 10:20 and Isaiah 65:1.

memorials galore

Different perspectives can be cast for this day. It was filled with plenty of drama. Eventually, concluding with the murder of Jesus. With both the religious and secular authorities being complicit in His execution by Crucifixion. A typical Roman punishment.

From the events of the week, Christians should understand that religion, politics, and the Christ way do not mix. Christianity should not be seen as a religion! It is though because it has been severely corrupted. Think in terms of a Christ movement as a band of confederates. Absent concrete, wood or stained glass windows. And certainly, absent profiteers extraordinary known as clergy. Who are into empire building as a means of proving that God favors them, as opposed to the revolutionary work of Christ. Who are nothing more than the whores of the state through their, Internal Revenue Code (IRC) section 501 (c)(3) status. A blatantly anti-Christ governmental authority. To the government it’s worth the tax exemption in order to keep tract of church doings. Hard to be a rebel confederate extraordinary while being a mistress of the government.

Sincere Christ confederates operate at their best without any type of hierarchy. All that stuff was added as time progressed. It served, and still serves as a means of securing manipulative power structures. Inflicting nothing but mental and physical anguish. Some very brutal leading to serious injury and even death.

It’s different for Europe because Europe politically is endangered by Islam. Europe sees the Christianisation of their states as a means of religious and political salvation from Islam. It’s a very dangerous trend because it allows governments to speak for God.

And it’s a trend moving across the United States. Where clergy can have their sermons and activities censored. The spirit of Holy Week is not allow the government to censor or meddle in church functions.

This padre has argued repeatedly that organized religion is one of the greatest calamities ever inflicted upon humanity. That is because humanity is not fit to speak for God. When a politician announces that he or she is a Christian; run for cover because such twin evils are antagonistic to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christ spent his life, especially his last week of life fighting religion and politics. Are the two any different today? Of course not, so the Christ movement of Holy Week continues. Liberating humanity from the clutches of religion and government. Demanding that the two provide for the temporal needs of its citizens.

Think in terms of Catholicisms influence upon Europe. Along with Protestantism influence there. There you have a stagnant Christ bogged down with traditionalism without the power of the resurrected Christ the whole point of Holy week. With people people identifying with the influences of religious denominations. Absent the get up and fight for the principles that Christ taught.

Change yourself, change your world which Requires experiential newness of life. See 2 Corinthians 5:17, making you ready to become a rebel confederate. That verse reads as follows, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they have become new creations; old things are passed away; behold all things have become new.” That’s what Holy Week is all about.

The calendar of Jesus was packed with 29 encounters. Some pleasant but most very antagonistic to his message and mission. Just a very brief discussion about one of those dates. Jesus never said anything about observing the week starting with ‘Good Friday-Easter Sunday.’

Here is what he taught followers about the observance of his life and death. It’s found in, Matthew 26:26-29. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it, broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat, this is my body. Then he took the cup, and gave thanks” And gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, “I will not drink of this fruit from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Holy Week, seven days that changed the world forever. A period of time in which Jesus would introduce a new contract between himself and the world community. The eating of bread, the sacrificial crucified substance of his body. Combined with the drinking of his blood for the remission of sins.

During the absence of Jesus Christians have three primary obligations. Offer the gospel to the world community, for the forgiveness of sins, and to provide for their temporal needs. And, to continue to pay tribute to Mary Magdalene. See Matthew 26:13.

Prayer

Praying for many is about do this for me and give me this. Offered to our Christ, who said, “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray unto your father who is in the secret place; and your Father who is in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitious as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore, do not be like them, for your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask him,” Matthew 6:6-8.

Jesus taught a prayer model which can be discovered by studying verses 9-13. Note these unique characteristics which have nothing to do with self gratification of the aforementioned of, ‘do this for me and give me this.’

Making prayer one of exaltation, the establishment of His kingdom, the sacredness of His will being done on earth, just as it is in heaven. Here we go the biggie, give us this day our daily bread.

Our daily bread from that context is about spirituality. Some may not be able to comprehend the following because of a lack of mature spiritual growth. If not, meditate upon the following, and in due time the Father of Divine Providence will make it understandable. From Psalm 119:97-104, Oh, how I love your law! It is my mediation all the day. You, through your commandments make me wiser than my enemies; for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my enemies; for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditations. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep your your precepts. I have restrained my feet from every evil way. That I may keep your word. I have not departed from your judgments, for you have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. Through your precepts, I get understanding; therefore, I hate every false way.

Wow! What beauty, strength and fulfillment comes from a life at the table of bread. Remember, Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. They who come to me shall never hunger, and they who believe in me shall never thirst,” John 6:35. Contextually it’s different from the usual expectations from prayer, but not, so when experienced.

However; it will not free one from spiritual hunger or thirst, unless the remaining models of prayer are understood. So we return to Matthew 6:12-13. We all need our Father’s constant forgiveness, and deliverance. Which enables us not to harbor grudges, and ill attitudes towards those who have offended us. Note the contingency between the two from the scriptures and not my comments. Jesus declares them to be temptations from the evil one. And the finale is about exalting the Father, who is the possessor of the kingdom, where power and glory is forever. Which is the ultimate bread to be sought, but which is not an automatic loaf of nourishment.

The contrast makes the difference

Once upon a time, there was a cow, who liked to drink milk. Every day, when the farmer set the milk buckets in the shade to cool, the cow would go and drink it all up. Now the farmer thought it was the cat, who was drinking the milk and beat the cat. Angry, the cat wanted to get revenge on the stupid cow that got the cat beaten.

So the next day, the cat went up to the cow’s stall, and said good morning, and generally made small talk. Now when the farmer set the milk buckets in the shade, the cow politely said to the cat goodbye. then ambled over to the milk buckets. The cat pretended amazement when the cow started to drink the milk.

What are you doing? the cat exclaimed, didn’t you know that milk is poisonous to cows?

The cow did start to feel a little nauseous, and asked what to do? The milk is already drunk.

Do not fear, said the cat, there is an antidote to the poison. And so saying, drew forth the bottle.

The cow, thankfully took the bottle and drank it up, then fell dead. The cat smiled an evil smile, and laughed an evil laugh. The cat walked away, pleased that the revenge turned out so smoothly.

When the farmer discovered the dead cow, the farmer was shocked indeed, and wondered, who would do such a thing. Looking closer, the farmer saw a little bottle labeled, Property of the cat, DO NOT TOUCH, POISON.

Thus the farmer knew the cat had killed the cow, and after searching for the cat. Who had of course been hiding for fear of getting hurt. Killed the cat and buried their carcasses together. So that the two enemies in life would have to endure the others presence in death as well. (source:Cow, Cat, Farmer, y-Trees Fiction Press ID 619828)

Verse 9,The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

Verse 10, I the LORD, search the heart. I test the mind. Even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Verse 11, As the partridge sits on eggs, and hatches them not, so they that get riches, but not by right; it will leave them in the midst of their days, and at their end they shall be a fools.

Verse 6, For they shall be like the shrubs planted in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited, Jeremiah chapter seventeen.

Now, the contrast that makes the difference.

Verse 7, Blessed are they who trust in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.

Verse 8, For they shall be like a trees planted by the waters, and spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when the heat comes; but her leaf shall be green; and will not be anxious in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit, Jeremiah chapter seventeen.

Why do the nations rage and the people imagine vain things? Psalms 2:1.

A mystery made known

Are some scriptures more relevant to us than other scriptures? Yes! The writings of the Apostle Paul staring with the book of Acts and concluding with 2 Thessalonians. They are the scriptures to be mastered during the church age, or age of grace. Here’s your proof.

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles. If indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you.

How by revelation He made known to me the mystery, as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ. Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets.

That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which, I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. To me, who am less than the least of all saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.

And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ. To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. Note, Ephesians 3:1-12.

Does that mean that the rest of the New Testament and all of the Old Testament is irrelevant?

No! Because, Paul also wrote the following. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the people of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. Note 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

Always in the wrong

A wolf, seeing a lamb drinking from a river, wanted to find a superficial pretext for devouring him. He stood higher up the stream, and accused the lamb of muddy the water so that he could not drink it. The lamb said that he drank the water only with the tip of his tongue. And in any case, he was standing down the river and could not possibly have disturbed the water higher up. When the excuse failed him the wolf said, “Well, last year you insulted my father,” “I wasn’t even born then,” replied the lamb. “You are good at finding answers,” Said the wolf, “But I’m going to eat you all the same.”

When a man is determine to get his knife into someone, he will turn a deaf ear to any plea, however just. (source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-“Always In The Wrong.

Said Jesus, “Therefore by their fruits you shall know them,” Matthew 7:20, after all, said Jesus, “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire,” verse 19. So, grow some good fruit by standing firm for the causes of Christ. Destroy evil, as the Spirit directs you. But, there will always be wolves out there determined to eat you. They’ll accuse you at being wrong as you stand for Christ with the right answers. Making them all the more determined to eat you.

Finding the high ground

Aesop had his say yesterday, as did Peter, John, Isaiah and Ezekiel. I don’t know about you, but most likely, you have seen their observation play out one way or another. If you haven’t, take a look at the global arena.

But today, Solomon will have his say.

A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.

Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

THE LORD WILL NOT ALLOW THE RIGHTEOUS SOUL TO FAMISH, BUT CASTS AWAY THE DESIRE OF THE WICKED.

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

He who gathers in summer is a wise son; he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

BLESSINGS ARE ON THE HEAD OF THE RIGHTEOUS, BUT VIOLENCE COVERS THE MOUTH OF THE WICKED.

The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.

The wise in heart will receive commands, but the prating fool will fall.

He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known.

He who winks with the eye causes trouble, but a prating fool will fall.

THE MOUTH OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS A WELL OF LIFE, BUT VIOLENCE COVERS THE MOUTH OF THE WICKED.

Hatred stirs up strife’s, but loves covers all sins.

Wisdom is found on the lips of him, who has understanding, but a rod is for the back of him, who is devoid understanding.

Wise people store up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction, Proverbs 10:1-14.

Why the above doesn’t work for many people, “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death,” Proverbs 14:12.

Change makers

A time from the past which reverberates true today. Proving an old adage, what goes around comes around.
It occurred when the United States, with yet another dose of self righteousness embroiled itself in the affairs of yet another nation. This time America turned its fire power on Libya. And it was all about conglomerate oil profits and had nothing to do with the welfare of Libyans or the American people.

PROOF IN FACT: Remember when the U.S. Congress said it couldn’t afford to renew the federal flood insurance subsidy for homeowners in flood prone regions of the country. Can’t afford health care for American war veterans. And does so meagerly, after prolonged fights. Continuing to argue that European styled health care for all Americans, is not affordable. So the nation is stuck with Obamacare. With President elect Trump saying that he’s going to fix all of that. With the speaker of the house saying that the Congress is on board. With the Congress busying itself with ways to do away with Social Security. With the nations basic infrastructures collapsing, with the Congress saying it has no money to repair and rebuild America. With President elect Donald Trump saying that he’s going to fix all of that.

But America had lots of money to war in Libya. With 11 warships of the coast of Tripoli which include 2 destroyers and 3 ballistic submarines. And the U.S. war machines pounded Libya with 200 Tomahawk missiles at a cost of 1/2 million per missile. That should make every American fucking angry and geared up to fight this  Moammar Gadhafi styled government that just wears a different mask to camouflage its evils.

And make no mistake that same style of warfare is playing out in Syria with the same results. With a Syrian government, like the Libyan government being hostile not to the United States but to other players. All very dangerous to American interest. Strongly suggesting that the United States is no longer a major player in world affairs.

Who will God hold most responsible for world Chaos? Governments? Not hardly because He has already declared them to be useless. With Isaiah reporting, “Behold he nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales,” Isaiah 40:15.

And with Daniel reporting, “And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings, and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals the deep  and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness; and the light dwells with Him,” Daniel 2:21-22.

Leaving us with the church which is of absolutely no help in resolving world chaos. That’s according to John, as he categorizes the churches for God, seven times see Revelation 2:1-3:22. Always admonishing, 7 times, it seems in question form, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Now those who are scripture savvy know that God works through individuals, and not institutional governments, or concrete castles called churches. That’s why God had John chronicle these words for non-institutional entities. “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to their work,” Revelation 22:12.

The answer of responsibility is found in Daniel 2:21b and 22a, “He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals the deep and secret things.” Scriptural history teaches that those who codify the scriptures are the world changers. Perfect example, Jesus Christ, who codified 12 and sent them out to change the world. In the Old Testament, He did the same with Moses and many others. So at the end, it’s the individual that is held responsible and given the opportunity to be judged by their works. While institutions like governments, and churches have already been dammed.

Shape up, and ship out because America needs some changing.

Reward of the wicked

An eagle and a vixan (female fox) became friends and decided to live near each other in the hope that a closer acquaintance would cement their friendships. The eagle flew to the top of a very tall tree and laid her eggs there, while the vixen gave birth to her cubs in a thicket underneath. One day, she went off in search of food. The eagle, feeling hungry, swooped into the bushes, snatched up the cubs, and made a meal of them with her brood.
The vixen came back and saw what had happened. She was less distressed by the loss of her young than by the difficulty of punishing the eagle. How could she, tied down to the earth as she was, pursue a bird? All she could do was to stand far off and curse her enemy, like any other weak and feeble creature.

But it chanced before long that the eagle was punished for violating the sanctity of friendship. Some men sacrificing a goat in a field, and the eagle darted down onto the altar and carried off a burning piece of offal to her nest. Just then a strong wind sprang up and fanned into a blaze igniting the bits of dry stalk of which the nest was made. The result was that the nestlings which were not fully fledged burnt and fell to ground.

The vixen ran to the spot and gobbled up every one of them right under the eagles eyes.

The point of this tale is that those who break a compact of friendship, even though the friend they have wronged maybe be powerless to punish them. They can’t escape the vengeance of heaven. (Source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-“The Reward of the Wicked”)

Aesop has seemed to touch upon a biblical truth. So, maybe you have noticed, as I have, such behaviors have a way of spilling over something like this. “I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happened to them all,” Ecclesiastes 9:11

Now here is the unobservable for us mere mortals. Who can only shake our heads and wonder why certain things occur. Maybe sometimes by time and chance by being in the wrong place at the right time and disaster strikes. Or maybe by divine judgment, as recorded, “Vengeance is mine, and recompense. Their foot shall slip in due time. For the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them,” Deuteronomy 32:35. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord,” Romans 12:19.

From Aesop, and the scriptures it might appear that vengeance and retribution is something applicable to just individuals. Because catastrophes that strike nation states might seem to be more on the scale of an occurrence of time and chance. But there are certain events that suggest occurrences beyond time and chance. Like the demise of a nation state which seems invincible. In particular the United States which was the recipient of a divine compact through the Abrabhamic covenant. And with that a duty to honor what has been tagged the nations Judeo Christian traditions. To understand this the following scriptures must be understood, if not understood, learn them, they’ll serve you well, Genesis 17:4. Then the covenant was passed onto Isaac, Genesis 17:21. Continuing through David, to Christ and us, Revelation 22:16. It’s easy to see that the United States has distanced itself from its Judeo Christian responsibilities. And moving to the forefront in becoming the worlds premier economic and military power is China. It’ll be a new experience for the nation, as it learns what it feels like to be bullied by China and other emerging powers. Step aside big daddy, you’re becoming irrelevant.

Do or die

From the perspective of the previous discussion, “Alex and his Grecian horse,” the nations turn about.

You therefore, must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (Scriptural texts: 2 Timothy 2:3-4;15).

Three verses that present awesome challenges. Such as they are, the church in this era is unlikely to achieve.

Am I A Soldier Of The Cross

Am I a soldier of the cross,                                                                                A follower of the Lamb,                                                                                  And shall I fear to own his cause,                                                                      Or blush to speak his name?

Must I be carried to the skies                                                                             On flowery beds of ease,                                                                                While others fought to win the prize,                                                                 And sailed through bloody seas?

Are there no foes for me to face?                                                                      Must I not stem the flood?                                                                               In this vile world a friend to grace?                                                                  To help me in to God?

Sure I must fight, if I would reign,                                                                   Increase my courage, Lord,                                                                             I’ll bear the toil, endure the pain,                                                                     Supported by Thy Word.

Thy saints in all this glorious war                                                                     Shall conquer though they die;                                                                           They see their triumph from afar,                                                                      By faith’s discerning eye.

When that illustrious day shall rise,                                                                  And all Thy armies shine                                                                                  in robes of victory through the skies,                                                                The glory shall be Thine.

What powerful words, Isaac penned. Pricking everyone’s conscience according to the Spirit’s yearning. Hopefully, it’ll earn a response because we are losing the battle. Fortunately, we are moved and judged as individuals. Here is one motivational factor for me. Not applicable for this hour but it has a piercing effect upon me that I should do more. “… and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one is in bitterness for his first born,” Zechariah 12:10. Yep, I’m doing some finger pointing and the finger is pointed at me. Because God experienced His sorrow because of me.

Human necessity and lawlessness

Hey there! Mr. and Ms. America and you kids, too. Is Daniel ringing the nations door bell with a message from God? With all kinds of calamities from bizarre weather, to rapid national acceptance of homosexuality. Perhaps manifesting itself through what most never anticipated and still don’t. No cash to pay its bills, a shocker indeed. No matter how it plays out, people with smarts should take it as serious wake up call. The larger question, is what to do about it; but first lets hear from Daniel. Who says “HE changes the TIMES and the SEASONS; HE removes KINGS and sets up KINGS; HE gives Wisdom to the Wise, and KNOWLEDGE  to those who know UNDERSTANDING,” Daniel 2:21.

As an empire, is the American one, DOOMED? And is a new global bully about ready to emerge? If so, would it be China? This padre thinks not, but certain to be a major player on the world scene. But rather an evil already in place, hiding in mosques. Which are nothing more than Islamic military fortresses, camouflaged as religious institutions. The weaker the empire becomes the more devastating will be their attacks. Its been their global history for centuries.

But Islam will not have its global empire because the King of the North will trick them and destroy them. Maybe because Christendom didn’t take the Apostle Paul’s advice and get rid of them as recorded in Galatians 4:30. But to be feared, are two unlikely forces, who will join together. And form a union with a third party, who together will set the stage for the extinction of humanity. With probable success, except for Christendoms sake it fails, who is that player? A paragraph of home work!

Decision making to say the very least can be very nerve racking. Especially when the decision under consideration is clearly forbidden by secular and religious law. That’s exactly what a German university professor wrestled with when he decided that it was okay to ignore secular law, if a religious precedent could be found.

For this discussion the two men under consideration are Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who also happened to be a Lutheran clergyman. And Jesus Christ, who also is God.

First Bonhoeffer, because he was the author of a philosophical discipline he tagged as situation ethics. Dietrich Bonhoeffer, decided that all adverse conditions merited  situational ethics response. Meaning that the situation that a person encountered dictates their response. Even when murder was being considered, as an option of his ethics.

Disobeying the laws of nation states, when their laws threatened the church can be easily justified. But finding ethical justification for breaking God’s laws, presents a far greater rational of justification. If for no other reason, then the eternal consequences of God’s judgment.

Such a propositional justifiable ethic for murder would also have moral consequences for the clergy. Bonhoeffer must have considered how the public would view the church, when its clergy sanctioned murder. Well the Lutheran church in Germany, as a body didn’t buy into his church sanctioned ethics. Didn’t matter Dietrich Bonhoeffer made his decision, and the following is a part of his ethical rational.

Bonhoeffer lived during the time of Hitler’s Nazi Germany. He concluded that the Nazi doctrines were an abomination to God. Therefore, as a disciple of Christ, he had to take some course of action to reverse the Nazi plan. The German Lutheran church had debated the problem of Nazism and found no remedy. Especially, as to whether killing Hitler could be justified from a Christian perspective. Bonhoeffer could not wait for his churches resolution. He joined the underground, and they plotted to kill Hitler. He paid for his participation with his life.

Bonhoeffer, as a theologian knew that Lutheranism held the Ten Commandments in the book of Exodus to be the governing principles on matters of live and death. Exodus 20:13, “You will not kill.”

Dietrich looked to the founder of his faith, Jesus Christ. He discovered that Christ himself broke the law. To justify the breaking of the law, Jesus referred His critics to an Old Testament law breaker from the book of Samuel. David, and Christ used human necessity, as a justification to do something that was not lawful.

One day Jesus and His disciples were walking through a grain field on a Sabbath day. The disciples plucked the ears of grain, Mark 2:23. According to Jewish law that was considered work which was prohibited. Exodus 20:10 … “you will do no work. The LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it sacred,” v.11.

The enforcers of Jewish law were observing this, and confronted Jesus. They told Jesus that the behavior was in violation of the Sabbath day law, Mark 2:24.

Jesus brought to their attention what David did, when he and those with him were hungry, v 25. They went to the house of God, and ate bread that was only to be eaten by the priests. It was not lawful for others to eat the bread, v. 26. Setting a precedent for breaking the law in the future.

Jesus told the enforcers of Jewish law that the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath, v.27. Declaring that the Son of Man is LORD also on the Sabbath, v.28.

From the Christ example, Bonhoeffer thought that Christ most likely would have approved of killing Hitler. This was based upon Jesus reversing centuries of Jewish law by making it lawful to work on the Jewish Sabbath. Thus making the Jewish law irrelevant to Christendom depending upon the circumstances. Concluding that Jesus Christ, himself was a practitioner of situational ethics. The law was ignored to better accomplish human need. Therefore, the elimination of Hitler would also better accomplish human need.

If you are a student of scriptural history, then you know that God often used murder as a justification for sinful behaviors. Promising to do so, even as the church age moves to closure. Naysayers use such an argument to suggest that Christendom is hypercritical because our God who said, You will not kill, often killed himself. Furthermore, he gave permission to others to murder. Here is one example, it’s found from 1 Chronicles 14:10, And David inquired of God, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will you deliver them into my hand?” And the LORD said to him. “Go up, for I will deliver them into your hand.” More evidence, God was the originator of situation ethics and not Dietrich Bonhoeffer. And the church failed God, in Nazi Germany.

So how does all the aforementioned play out today? It plays out by becoming a master of situational ethics. The one that works best is to learn to act violently in a nonviolent manner. Because, only a motivated army of Christians will save America. Or will the church duplicate the church in Nazi Germany.

A very treacherous lifestyle

A land rat, in an evil hour, struck up a friendship with a frog. Who played a mean trick on him. He tied the rat’s foot to his own. They started out on dry land to get themselves some dinner. But they came to the edge of a pond, the frog dived in. He reveled in the water and kept uttering his familiar croak. While the unlucky rat, who was dragged down with him swallowed a bellyful and drowned. But his dead body floated, still tied to the frog’s foot.

A kite that spotted it snatch it up with his claws. The frog unable to free himself was hoisted up with it. So the kite ate him too.

Even in death, the dead can get justice. For nothing escapes the eye of divine justice. It weighs crimes in the balance and allows the appropriate punishment. (Source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-“Making The Punishment Fit The Crime”)

“To me belongs vengeance and recompense. Their foot shall slide in due time. For the day of their calamity is at hand. And the things to come hasten upon them,” Deuteronomy 32:35.

“O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongs show shine forth!,” Psalms 94:1.

“God is jealous, and the LORD avenges. The LORD avenges and is furious. The LORD will take vengeance on His adversaries. And He reserves wrath for His enemies,” Nahum 1:2.

“In flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ,” 2 Thessalonians 1:8.

“In this manner pray …. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven,” Matthew 6:9-10.

Far to many Christians are more willing to rely upon the majesty of God’s justice for relief, as all Christians should. However, the world would be a better place, if more Christians would snatch that everlasting gospel from the angels hand while time remains. By preaching to them that dwell on earth, and to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people, Revelation 14:6.

Because! It’s equally apart of God’s majestic justice. For there is, “Power In The Blood,” as we all love to sing from comfortable pews on any given Sunday. But there is something missing and it’s this, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives to the death,” Revelation 12:11.

Resisting Evil

News that reverberates across the news wires that never fades.

“The abortion debate *turns deadly,* “A doctor known for the performing late term abortions is gunned down.”

Someone responded, “What do you mean, turns deadly? As if abortion hasn’t turned turned deadly with more than 50 million babies murdered since, Roe v Wade.”

State sponsored abortions represents complex issues that do not always present themselves with easy solutions. Perhaps some abortions are necessary for reasons beyond the scope of this discussion. But a abortions preformed out of convenience, for any and all parties represents a violation of God’s law, “You shall not Kill,” Exodus 20:13. Which includes state sanctioned murders, for what the state call, just wars.

From the secular perspective, “Today when a concerted effort is made to obliterate this point, it can not be repeated to often that the Constitution is a limitation on government, not on individuals. It does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government. It’s not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizens protection against the government,” Author novelist, Ayn Rand, 1905-1982.

From the scriptural perspective. In times long forgotten God’s people did a better job resisting state evil, as did Daniels friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. From the historical record we have this account. The king issued a law requiring all his subjects to worship the idol he had made. And as with state sponsored evil, failure to comply brought consequences, Daniel 3:5-7. And Daniels friends bore the consequences, for putting God’s law ahead of government edicts, Daniel 3:14-15. Telling the king directly, “…. be it known unto you O King, that we will not serve your God’s. nor worship the golden image which you have set up,” Daniel 3:18. Because God’s law ordained, “You will not make unto yourself images, or likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth,” Exodus 20:4-5. Because God offers His own consequences for such behavior, “….visiting the iniquity of your fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations that hate me,” Exodus 20:5. “And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love, and keep my commandments,” Exodus 20:6. Which was also the experience of Daniels friends. And because the king was mad, an exceeding hot fire was ignited in the furnace, Daniel 3:19. And they were cast into the furnace but suffered no harm, 20;23;25. Because the three experienced the mercy of God, Exodus 20:6.

But in more modern times, we have the courageous Martin Luther, who defied the Roman Catholic Church, and helped usher in the Protestant Reformation. To Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who resisted Hitler’s Nazism and paid for it with his life. To Scott Roeder, who assassinated, ‘Tiller the Baby Killer,’ Sunday 31 May 2009.

But the perfect example for defying evil, is God himself, who asked? “Why do the heathen [nations] rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of this earth set themselves up, and the rulers take counsel against the LORD His anointed [Jesus Christ]. Saying let us break their bands asunder and cast their cords from us [God’s laws and influences]. Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex [difficulties] them with His displeasure, Psalms 2:1-5.

Remember Jesus said, “I and my Father are one,” John 10:30. Part of picking up the cross [Matthew 16:24] and its about sacrifice [Matthew 16:25] and rewards [Matthew 16:27] and following Jesus is to resist, Psalms 2:2-3.

Proof the invincibility of the Word of God

I am a news junkie but for different reasons than many. First, I like to stay current with what the news pundits are saying. But most astonishing is how far off the mark they are, when they try to explain current events with future outcomes. Mixed with the tragedy that most rely on what the pundits predict, as opposed to what God says will absolutely occur. Resulting with this blogger contradicting the pundits and demonstrating why through the scriptures.

The U.S. government keeps insisting that the American Muslim community has the same aspirations as do non-Muslims. Which is absurd from the constant emergence of Muslims from their military fortresses or mosques to attack us. Always selecting highly visible targets to maximize death. Which has 2 goals, cripple the nation in as many ways as possible. Usually designed to deplete the tax payers treasury. And then to traumatize the non-Muslim population. Meaning specifically the Judeo-Christian American community. Any other non-Muslims traumatized from Muslims attacks, well that just be peripheral frosting on the cake. Because most of them already agree with the government that Muslims share the same aspirations as do non-Muslims. And remember a foiled attack, like the near tragedy of Northwest jet airliner flight 253, with 279 passengers and 11 crew members. And more recently the Texas sniper killing of police officers. Which was an Islamic success. From the perspective of economics and traumatization. Wake up my Judeo-Christian compatriots for the sake of God’s kingdom because we must come together and fight back. Because there is not the slightest chance in God’s hell that the U.S. government will ever be able to rise to the task. It’s up to us Jews and Christians!

As Jews and Christians, we live in a different world than others. Our world is built around our Judeo-Christian holy scriptures And it’s from those scriptures that we know that Islam is evil. So for starters, here are some scriptures proving the invincibility of God’s word. We find this history in Genesis were this is revealed to us. “The angel of the LORD said unto her, behold! I will multiply your seed exceedingly,… And the angel of the LORD said, … you shall call his name Ishmael …. And he shall be a ‘WILD MAN;’ his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him …,” Genesis 16:10-12. Here is some of the significance for the invincibility of the WORD of God. Muslims trace their heritage back to Ishmael the founder of Islam. Indeed as promised by the angel of the LORD, the Islamic seed has multiplied exceedingly beyond number. And as the angel of the LORD announced, the Muslim community is a wild unmanageable people. Where in the modern world is this not true? Proving God’s word is invincible!! Believe it, and act upon It! We must eradicate the Muslim community in America before they eradicate us! Jews and Christians together!

But God’s invincibility doesn’t stop there, but continues with Isaiah. Who wrote, “Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel  and his redeemer, (prophecy announcing Jesus) the LORD of hosts. I am the the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God,” Isaiah 44:6. And it is all brought together when Jesus said, “I and the Father are one,” John 10:30.

And God’s invincibility continues with Jesus, where we find this recording. “And then if any man shall say unto you, Lo here is Christ; or, lo He is there; believe him not. For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and show signs and wonders, to seduce, even the elect. BUT TAKE HEED; BEHOLD, I HAVE FORETOLD ALL THINGS,” Mark 13:21-23. Understand that and you’ll understand the deviousness of religion. Meaning anythings outside our Judeo-Christian scriptures represents the tales of false Christs. Whether it is the Muslim god Allah or their prophet Mohammad. Or any other of the sects of religions that attempt to bring themselves under the Christ umbrella.

This last thought is what makes the WORD of GOD invincible. The Bible should be thought of as unique collection of historic literature. Written by ordinary people like us, but over a span of dozens of centuries. Representing a host of different cultures. With very different agenda’s and considering the varying times that separated their lives. Yet they were able to put together a prophetic story that reverberates with stunning accuracy. Accomplished because all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, 2 Timothy 3:16. Inspiration from the Greek, “theopneustos” meaning “God breathed.” Making our Judeo-Christian scriptures as authentic, as if the Almighty had written them himself. Without using the many historical characters, whose names are ascribed to our Judeo-Christian scriptures.

So when, God signaled the close of the age, as he did with the book of Revelation. And allowed John to record these words, we should pay attention. “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches,” Revelation 3:22. It must be important because John penned it a total of 7 times in just 2 chapters between 68 verses. Perhaps because the world is catapulting into a catastrophic mess. Propelled though by false Christs, who can also, and are found through out  governments. And more specifically, the United States government. America has lost its God given destiny and is beginning to feel the pain of its desertions. It is the duty of the church to fight to return the nation back to the path of God’s preordained destiny.

Nuts and bolts of things

Well you know? No matter how one attempts to hold something together, say a fence to a post, it takes both the nut and bolt. That is if, one really wants the fence to be secure. The American government is attempting to make America secure from Muslims by using only the nut. Which of course will not make the fence secure at all. Should they use the bolt, which is expecting a lot, absent the nut, security would be wobbly, but momentarily secure. But the bolt would wiggle itself free. Which is what must have happened, when the Tsarnaeva brothers exploded two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. An all to familiar experience forcing the nation to remember the Fort Hood massacre and the near fatal crash of Northwest airlines, flight 253. And then to hear the Obama administration trying unsuccessfully to explain how the bolt wiggled free each time. Without explaining why the nut was never used. It’s called being politically correct. In other words don’t make American’s so secure that it offends the Muslim population.

Former President George H.W. Bush, erroneous explained just how that bolt wiggled free, when he said, “And I think we’ve got to be careful that we don’t fall into the trap of being against Islam because of the excesses of a few.” (source:Parade magazine, 13 December 2009) And that has been the government line ever since 9/11. And it demonstrates the senior Bush’s ignorance about the goal, and intentions of Islam. Which was clearly discussed in the previous discussion, and continued with every administration, including the Obama administration. It will extend beyond the Obama administration, unless the American people wake up and secure the fence to the post with a nut and bolt.

Perhaps an Aesop fable best describes the American nations relationship with Muslims. Two friends were traveling together, when a bear suddenly appeared. One of them climbed up a tree and remained there hidden. The other, seeing that that he would be caught in another moment. Laid down on the ground and pretended to be dead. When the bear put its muzzle to him, and smelt him all over. He held his breath! For it is said that a bear will not touch a corpse. After he had gone away, the other man came down from the tree, and asked his friend what the bear whispered in his ear. It told me, he replied, “Not to travel in the future with friends, who do not stand by one in time of peril.” Source:Fables of Aesop-Penguin Classics-“Genuine Friends Are Proven By Adversity.”

The government would have Americans believe that Americans and Muslims are friends. But Muslims are like the man, who scampers up the tree when adversity strikes. And once it passes descends to condemn their Muslim aggressors. It’s all apart of a very slick propaganda scheme put together by the Council of American-Islamic Relations, CAIR. An operation far more deceptive, sinister and deadly then what was put together by the Nazi propaganda machine. Don’t be tricked by Islamic propaganda. Just not nationally but internationally. They blow up people playing soccer. And do it even to their own, when doing, whatever they do, even when attending a mosque.

Always remember they are declared in scriptures to be a wild people, Genesis 16:11-12. Muslims trace their beginnings back to Ishmael, our scriptures universal wild people. Proven so with great accuracy, as their mayhem swirls globally everyday.

Think of the nuts and bolts of things in this manner. The fence represents the church while the bolt represents Christians and the nut Jesus Christ. It is Jesus Christ, who anchors the church, and Christians as a secure fence against adversity. Because Jesus said, “… I will build my church…,” Matthew 16:18. And connected himself, with Christians by saying, “…, if any person will come after me, let them deny themselves (meaning making the cause of Christ a #1 priority) and take up the cross (meaning enduring hardships and not scampering up the tree in the face of adversity) daily and follow me,” Luke 9:23.

America is to good for a Muslim. Satan’s pride and joy! A people after his own heart. Steeped in deceit and deception. Always parading themselves as angels of light. Like their daddy, where this is recorded, “And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light,” 2 Corinthians 11:14. And the Apostle Paul gave this advice concerning Muslims, “Nevertheless, what does the scripture say? Cast out the bondwoman (Hagar the mother of Ishmael) and her son, (Ishmael the father of Islam) (why) for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son (Isaac who is of the lineage to Jesus Christ) of the freewoman (Sarah),” Galatians 4:30.

When all is said and done Islamic violence can’t be understood without understanding, Galatians 4:30. Because Islam was born according to the flesh, then persecuted him, who was born according to the Spirit, (Isaac) even so it is now, Galatians 4:29. Say no to all Muslims. Islam can’t be allowed to have residency in the America of Jesus Christ. Tell them to go to hell because that’s where they belong. They kill everything in time that’s not Muslim. They could not stand the stink there, so they came to America determined to remake America like the hell holes they let behind.

Assuredly some Muslim hell hole where like the ones the Tsarvaeva brothers came from.
Shun them as neighbors, and encourage them to return to their barbaric dwelling places of their forefathers sewers.

Check out Muslim behavior nationally and internationally. And you’ll discover Muslims are not friends of civilized people.

And from Aesop’s fable Muslims represent the man, who climbed the tree, when it comes to being friends with Jesus Christ and His America.

Those Islamic tree climbers are America’s primary enemy. It’s time to learn how to act up, so one can act out using an ancient art. Which teaches, don’t be seen or heard, then you’ll own your opponent. Interested? Arrangements made through the contact us tab associated with the navigation link.

Modernity of God

So, here is a biblical tale sure to manifest itself upon the nation. Hell bent in the travesty of equating same sex unions with marriages between a man and a woman. The latter blessed by God and the former cursed by God.

And this curse, will manifest itself in ways unimaginable to the American psychic. But not so, for those, who are biblically savvy. Again, this padre has been told that those of the latter, like myself, are relics to be ignored because of their irrelevancy in a modern world. While the former represent the new America of forward looking people, who champion equality regardless of sexual orientation.

It’s revealed to us that there can be no excuse for the ungodliness of homosexuality. Because homosexuals and their adherents are guilty of holding the truth of God in unrighteousness. And God has clearly shown, what unrighteousness is. It’s the failure to abstain from homosexual behavior. Which makes gay unions unlawful, from God’s perspective. (Compare:Romans 1:18-20).

The Bible is like no other book in more ways than one might suspect. But for this discussion, it will be limited to a book speaking to Americans. The American way is discussed in the first chapter of Romans. Wherefore God said, have it your own way, go on and dishonor your bodies between yourselves. By making the truth of God a lie. In the beginning homosexuality might have been a guy thing. Soon woman got into the act, and God said, “For even the women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.” Just like men, “Who burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error.” Which is fair, therefore, they will have to compensate God for their error. And the only compensation man can offer God, is to suffer His judgment. (Compare:Romans 1:21-27).

Why such a fate? Because they refused to reflect upon God’s directives for human sexual behavior, that are frowned upon by God. (Compare:Romans 1 :28-31.

And now the Clincher, and the harlot has become modern America. Making herself worthy of God’s judgment. But God’s judgments reaches beyond homosexuals, reaching straights who approve of homosexuality. The judgment is death a deserving penalty for homosexuals and their supporters. (Compare:Romans 1:32).

In scriptures there are other ways to experience death besides the physical experience. The death of financial ruination, destroyed careers, failing health and constant situations were nothing seems to go as planned. All such personal experiences are enhanced, as the American government, state and federal function as lost entities. Tumbling from one crisis to another. And losing its footing as respected institutions. Resulting in chaotic behaviors from the electors. Giving the nations enemies successful opportunities to exploit each and every situation. That’s the way evil has always worked.

Prosperity, and its fruits are the pickings of righteousness, the American experience of yesterdays.
