the in between

For the days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years. Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow. for it soon cut off, and we fly away. So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. See Psalms 90:10;12.

The voice said, “Cry out!” And he said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades because the breath of the LORD blows upon it; surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” See Isaiah 40:6-8.

Then the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven saying, “The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our LORD, and His Christ and He shall rule forever and ever. See Revelation 11:15.

Another interesting notion, all earthly governments succumbing to Christ with the whole earth becoming His kingdom. An ancient question by the seer of all seers, “Who has believed our report?” See Isaiah 53:1.

Only those who have an identity with the following. To this we were called because Christ also suffered for us. Leaving us an example that we should follow His steps. Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth. Who when He was criticized, did not criticized in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness. How? By His stripes we are healed. For we were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls. See 1 Peter 2:21-25.
