In this world two primary kingdoms exist. One represents everything that is evil while the other everything that is good. For the former many subsets exist, with variable shades of evil when compared to the latter. But nevertheless, they are all evil.
Which includes, our beloved United States. Equally unfortunately, is that the latter is spoiled by many existing subsets also. This latter group of subsets is characterized by the zillions of religions that dot our American landscape. And in some cases, adding to the evil that is desperate to over shadow the good.
It’s a battle that started centuries ago and explains conflicts between individuals and nations, even today. All conflicts boil down this truism, one way, or another, a better way is mine. therefore do as I say.
Centuries ago the Serpent said to the woman, “…. You will not die! God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will like God, knowing good and evil,” Genesis 3:1-5. And thus, perfect in judgment just like God. Which is exactly, what all evils promise which amounts to greater light.
It’s what the United States preaches to the world community, Follow us, and practice capitalism because it’s our form of freedom and democracy. Going as far as to suggest that the nation is perfect in its judgments. Resulting in being able to discern between evil and good. Going as far, as to project images, that makes us like God. Our God like character has given us the ability to create the worlds most advanced civilization. Is that not a part of what Genesis 3:4-5 teaches? And part of God’s response was to say, “… Behold! the man has become as one of Us to know good and evil …,”Genesis 3:22.
Our Bible paints evil as predators. Enduring over the centuries, as agents of darkness. Creating confusion because darkness is so persuasive, obstructing the brightness of the light and everything that is good.
The good is seen as the light showing the way. Allowing for the provisions of everything humanity seeks in our respective lives as individuals. Able to extend itself to the nation through the people. Able to engulf the community of nations. Which they are eager to emulate, but despite their best efforts, they fail. WHY? Because they admire our wealth, success and power. But they don’t want our Christ, who said, “I am the light of the world; they that follow me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life,” John 8:12. Therefore, they live in darkness and failure. So they rush to America to make their way our way. And that has become the modern American dilemma, especially from Muslims.
Daniel gives us a fleeting glimpse of this in Daniel 2:22, saying this, “He (God) reveals the deep and secret things,” Commentary: That’s what individuals and governments want. With the *deep* suggestive for what is craved. But for most it’s elusive, seemingly secret. Daniel proceeds by knowing that it’s the darkness that makes the light elusive. Directing us to know that it’s the light which dwells with God that makes that elusive light brighter than the rising sun. Promising to get even brighter, as the light progresses through the ages of history but not without some very very troubling times, end commentary.
From Revelation 13:1-2, “And I (John) stood on the sand of the sea. …. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard …. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.” those few words, we have the worlds past, present and future sketched before us. Unfortunately for us, it is a chronicle of what darkness represents.
In order to understand those two verses, we’ll return to the book of Daniel. Because chapter two makes a comparative contrast between darkness and light which is so explicit. The extremes of the end between darkness and light are magnificent. Because no matter how dark times might get, the light eventually prevails. People should not miss the opportunity to come to grips with the many aspects darkness and light. especially the way current history is unfolding before us.
Here are some discoveries that wait the reader. The darkness of King Nebuchadnezzar is destructive and offers no hope. While the light is soothing because it represents God, who offers a bright future not based upon hope but upon His sacred promises.
Daniel (2:31-38) reconstructs for Nebuchadnezzar his forgotten dream. We discover that this grand image was magnificent, as it is beautiful. But its manifestation as a living entity was terrifying. What Daniel outlined for King Nebuchadnezzar, and for us today, were images of kingdoms or governments. But it does not mean much because it’s just a collection of metals and clay and other substances from the earth. Molded into a lifeless statue.
Starting with verse 36, Daniel interprets the dream. Sharing with King Nebuchadnezzar the existence of four powerful kingdoms. Telling him that he is the head of gold. And that his Babylonian empire would rule the then known world with authority and power.
One can only imagine the kings reaction upon finding out that other kingdoms would rule the known world after his fall from power. perhaps he found comfort of being told that they would be inferior to his Babylonian kingdom. But it didn’t end there because Daniel sets forth the characteristics of yet a fourth kingdom. This fourth empire is the strongest of the four. Though it too would be plagued with problems. Wars, and divisional conflicts among them will eventually return the EU back to its original ten state kingdom, verses 40-43.
Theologians and historians are generally agreed on a time scale four these four world empires. Suggesting that Babylonian empire reigned from 605 B.C. through 538 B.C. Followed by the Medo-Persian empire for the period of 538 B.C. through 331 B.C. To be replaced by the Grecian empire for the period 331-168 B.C. Only to see the creation of the Roman Empire from 168 B.C. through 476 A.D. This great Roman Empire which fought many crusades and humiliated the world’s modern day darkness of evil which was Islam. Only to find itself divided into ten kingdoms around 476 A.D.
And to really fast forward through the pages of history. It is thought today that the old divided nations of the ancient Roman Empire have emerged as the European Union. This emergence is still a work in progress. Along with rebirth of Islam as a primary source of darkness and evil. It is thought that it is from this time period. That the beast of Revelation 13:1-2, which John saw will emerge to terrorize the world.
Turkey has sought membership in the European Union. Seeing itself as much a part of Europe, as it is a part of the Middle East. It will not happen because Turkey is a Muslim nation. And the beast of revelation 13:1-2 is thought to be the Roman Catholic Church. The dragon will not allow such a union with Europe because the two have been mortal enemies for centuries. However it could be the converse with the Beast emerging from within a Muslim country like Turkey. This padre hold to the latter as being the feared predatory Beast.
Verses 44-45 of Daniel chapter two, the writer sketched the history of darkness and light. Showing clearly that the light which is our God, the Lord Jesus Christ will prevail as the Beauty, who slays the darkness of the Beast.
The question: When will Beauty slay the Beast? We don’t know! Because God hasn’t set a time, that is certain. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t take matters into our own hands, and slay a few beasts. Because there is a beastly presence willing to slay America. What is startles is that so few Americans understands this Islamic threat. So it’s about time to get plugged in so that you can unplug a few Muslims because that’s what they have planned for you. It’s called self defense and it should start within our churches. But that’s not going to happen because most of our churches are entrepreneurships. Selling the art of empire building through the falsehoods of deception.
So do your self a favor, if you are a church person, and make an exit. Start Jesus groups in your homes, and learn how to do the God thing through the Jesus way. Breathing some life saving oxygen into the lungs of our beloved America
And if you are, by good fortune, one of the unchurched do the same.
