sigh of relief

For many, Christmas, is over with a sigh of relief! But it shouldn’t be because there are some everyday aspects of Christmas. Within the providence of time God sent an angel to visit a rather remarkable woman named Mary.

Gabriel made some rather astonishing remarks to her. Telling her that she would conceive in her womb a baby. Instructing her that she should name the baby Jesus. Gabriel reported to Mary that her baby would not be an ordinary child. Saying, that Jesus would inherit the destiny of history inaugurated centuries ago.

Revealing that this baby was destined to inherit the household of King David, the ancient King of Israel. And not that of Joseph, His surrogate father. And that the throne that Jesus would inherit means, that Jesus will someday rule from the capital city of King David which is the city of modern day Jerusalem.

It’s not a matter of speculation, but rather, one of divine declaration. Announced years before His birth, and recorded, in the eternal ledger of birth records. “The genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham.” See Matthew 1:1.

What’s the hot spot of the world? Jerusalem! The Arab/Muslims people want Jerusalem to be their capital city. The world community mostly agrees that the Palestinians deserve a homeland. And they are urging Israel to allow for Jerusalem to be a shared city. It may or may not occur, but if it occurs, it’ll be short lived. Because all of Canaan, belongs to Israel by divine proclamation, and not just Jerusalem. Because of the covenant, God made with Abraham. See Genesis 17:4-8.

So during 2020, or thereafter, the conflict over those disputed rights will intensify. Exploding beyond our comprehension. It has to because Jesus said so!

That really represents what our Christmas pageant is all about with enormous historical significance.

The following takes us deeper into the future depths of such a magnificent pageantry. The forces of evil not observable by most will work to deny any and all such occurrence!

But those of us secure in Christ, this is our future Christmas pageantry. Jesus announcing, “Assuredly I say to you that in the generation, when the Son of Man sits on His throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel! And every one, who has left house, or brothers or sisters, fathers, mothers or wife, husband, or children, or lands for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. But many, who are first will be last, and the last first” See Matthew 19:28-30.

Christians! Understand, and prepare, and claim your destiny.

Clergy people get sick, vacation, retire or move on. This Padre duly ordained is available to fill that vacancy temporarily. Teach a Sunday school class. Perhaps an adult Bible study group. You select the topic from the gallery of conventional interest. Reaching into the corridors of issues seldom explored.

Also with a degree in political science a whole repertoire of topics can be selected. From the cradle of the traditional gallery, right through to the political arena, where certain issued are seldom discussed.

Scheduling can be accomplished through the Contact Us link on my Home page. Living room conversations work well, as do other forums where people can gather.

CfS is a church without walls, and therefore, without membership.
