“And the great dragon was cast out that old serpent. called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast with him,” Revelation 12:9.
But! The heavens were told to rejoice. “Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you that dwell in them. WOE! To the inhabitants of the earth and sea. For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath because he knows that he has but a short time,” Revelation 12:12.
Here is how this is playing out on the world scene. “And the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman (Jews as the Redeemer’s family) who brought forth the child (Jesus), Revelation 12:13.
What troubles individuals and the world community, there is no cure or solution because the persecutions will only intensify. As it is written, “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe, and tongue, and nation,” Revelation 13:7.
What are we suppose to do? Roll over, and play dead, like a frightened dog? No! The gospels command must be executed. People are curious, so they asked, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness. ‘Make straight the way of the LORD, as the prophet Isaiah said,”‘ John 1:22-23.
Making straight the way of the Lord can be costly because it requires condemning what God condemns. And equally important echoing this eternal message, “In the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” As it is written in the prophets behold, ‘I send my messenger before your face, who shall prepare the way for you. The voice of one crying in the wilderness. PREPARE you the way of the Lord. MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT,”‘ Mark 1:1-3.
It’s not a choice, it’s a directive! Difficult, dangerous but with rewards. “These are the ones, who were not defiled with the woman, (by apostate religions, including many within Christendom today through that old serpent, who gives them their power), for they are virgins. These are the ones, who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were the redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb,” Revelation 14:4.
