possibilities that slipped away

Love life! Think of the possibilities of living several hundred years of a meaningful robust life. From the previous discussion it was discovered that a man had a chance of becoming a multiple millennium. He died at the age of 969.

Then Guinness World Records reported that a Frenchman lived to be 122 years and 164 days. Dying in 1997. Guinness World Records cited their sources for those dates. Why the decline in life expectancy from 969 years to 122 years by 1997? It doesn’t stop with the possibility of squeaking out 122 years. It’ll be virtually impossible with perhaps with a rare exception every now and them. Today if someone makes it to age 80, a meaningful robust life is a rarity.

Why the decline from the possible to the rare and then to the almost impossible. The marvels of medical science should have the longevity ladder on the incline and not the decline. Is there a definitive reason for life becoming more difficult at an earlier age? Yes, but the answer will be rejected by most, nevertheless, perhaps by the end of this discussion a reevaluation will occur.

Just what everybody wants, the unknown gets involved and picks on a guy named Moses. And instructs him to write the following, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh, yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”Moses penned those words because divine providence chose him to be their spokesperson. Then their Spirit became more intolerant with human kinds behavior making another adjustment in longevity.Penning by the anointing of divine providence wrote, “For all our days have passed away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a sigh. The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off and we fly away. Who knows the power of Your anger? For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Found at Psalms 90:9-12.

The aforementioned should be carefully studied. It tells us precisely why we die. There you will learn that the fear of God foresees His wrath. See verse 11b. “For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.” Meaning the converse is the order of the day. Therefore fear is absent, and God is angry. A one of the penalties is a shortened life span.
