golden bowls of incense

The strangeness of the supernatural is all around us, and few of us are aware of its influences both for good and evil. John was one of those people, who knew about good and evil. Because he says that he was at a place not by his choice. Protesting that he was there because of the for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The ancient world did not want to hear anything about the word of God or the testimony of Jesus Christ. Neither does our modern world. Because, the word of God is that mysterious vehicle of enlightenment for separating and understanding good from evil. Both good, and evil have universal uniformity. Meaning cultures within nation states globally; are all subject to the universality of the word of God, by godly predetermined standards.

And by the millions over the centuries their slaughter has occurred. Immortalized with these words. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives to the death.” See Revelation 12:11.

Suddenly, looking upward John saw a door opening from heaven. And a voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place.” What is to follow is the ceremonial celebration of their sacrifices. Known as the, ‘golden bowls of incense.’

The book of Revelation is a book filled with symbols and drama. John saw and beheld a very strange sight. In heaven there was a thrown room. And in the middle of that room were four living creatures, and a group of twenty four elders, vs. 8. Among them stood a Lamb, as though it had been slain. Having seven horns and seven eyes which were the seven Spirits sent out into all the earth. See Revelation 5:6.

Some of the symbols are open to speculation, but the drama from the past, to the present and reaching into the future is not.

Seven is the number of completion. Jesus is picturesquely presented as having seven horns. Horns picturing complete and perfect strength. And with seven eyes symbolizing perfect sight for the triumphing of His causes. We are told that seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth. Meaning that God in the personage of Jesus Christ represents the perfect good upon on earth. See Revelation 5:6.

Take for example the imagery of the slain Lamb. Referring to Jesus Christ who was tortured and murdered in order to redeem us by His split blood. Also note the explicit acknowledgment that His split blood is redemptive with universal implications. See Revelation 5:9. Through out history many devout warriors of Jesus have lost their lives in His service.

Their service has been documented for eternity in, Revelation 5:8, “And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which is the prayers of the saints.

The four living creatures, and the twenty four elders may represent another mystery. Which many pass over because of its lack of orthodoxy. Psalms 82:1, “God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. So are the four creatures, and twenty four elders apart of the government of God?

Which might help us to understand the following. “I am the LORD. That is my name, and I will not give my glory to another.” See Isaiah 42:8.

unseen forces magnify potential

I am among you, as a force though you know it not. Most of the time. Furthermore, in My right hand lifted high, I hold seven stars. Which are angels commissioned by Me, to be your guardians. You are my Lampstands, a figure of speech. As a designated people to declare to the populace Christ approved behaviors, as well as those hated by Jesus. See Revelation 1:13;20. That’s pretty much were the discussion ended yesterday and some days before yesterday.

It was no accident that John addressed his dialogue to the angel at the assembly or synagogue at Ephesus. But rather, by selectiveness of divine providence that’s what caused John to write, “To the angel ….” John may not have been aware that what he wrote wasn’t the product of his own thinking. The interference of angels in human affairs is mysterious. Consider the following carefully. “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for some by so doing have entertained angels.” And, “For He shall give His angels charge over you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands. Lest you dash your foot against a stone.” See Hebrews 13:2; Psalms 91:11-12.

We know from yesterdays discussion about the magnified attributes of the congregants at Ephesus. Their persevering labors, struggles for the causes of Jesus. Along with betrayers tagged as liars. People pretending to be something that they were not. That can be a morale killer to the extent that above magnifiers were trashed.

Which would bring about a stunning rebuke, from the One who walked among them unnoticed. See Revelation 1:12-16. It’s an esoteric concept that escapes most. Blinded to an awareness of divine providence in ones mists. With a lack of awareness for the mysterious duties of angels on our behalf.

Nevertheless spoke Jesus, “I have something against you that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen, repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place. See Revelation 2:5.

This series had its beginning, “A Well Traveled Road Still A Mystery,” 25 April 2017. If you want more depth see the discussions for Holy Week, 09 April 2017-16 April 2017. And those discussions of the 17th-24th helped launch this series as a package. They are all loaded with nuggets to help the Christ Lampstand avoid the indictment, repent. Or have your lampstand extinguished.

Hope for a world gone mad has no cure except for His light bearing Lampstands. It’s serious business because the owners of our mad world know that if they are to survive. They must extinguish all, not some, light bearing Lampstands.

The hour is urgent rise up and save America by extinguishing all betrayers of Christ. Use the weaponary made available through out this series. As Christ Lampstands, it done nonviolently. Review the discussion about the power of a phrase or word. “A Well Traveled Road Still A Mystery,” dated, 23 April 2017.

betrayal hurts

Nestled in parts of what is recognized as Turkey today. Was an assembly of Jews, who had fled Jerusalem because of a Jew hating prosecutor. Who was determined to put to silence by death, if necessary the shenanigans by those messengers of Jesus.

This Jewish assembly or synagogue of Ephesus and the other six discussed in chapters two and three from the book of Revelation. Were Jewish believers in Christ. As such they were what John labeled in the first chapter as Lampstands. In the midst of those Lampsatnds was one like the Son of Man. See Revelation 1:13.

The message that’s going to be shared with that synagogue is fitting for Christ followers whether Jew or Gentile today. To the angel of the church at Ephesus know this. These things says, “He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, walks in the midst of the seven golden Lampstands. I know your works, you labor, your patience that you cannot bear those who are evil. And have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars. And you have persevered, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary.” See Revelation 2:1-3.

By way of exegeses here are points of clarification making the Christ devotee durable enough to persevere in the strenuous labors one faces in His service. Works requiring patience in exposing the evils of the times. And discovering that those, who claim to be with you, are at cross purposes with you. Such a discovery can be both exhausting and defeating.

Apart from labeling them as liars, we don’t know what made them liars. Did such a declaration embody only people within that Jewish synagogue? The expression of apostles would suggest that the betrayers were those within their assembly. However if, apostle was a generic expression then liars could come from multiple antagonists. Representing Jews or Gentiles out side of that Jewish assembly, who pledged support for their community labors? It really doesn’t matter apart from discovering that a suspected friendship of alliance of purpose was one of betrayal.

Perhaps that’s what caused their demise in the sight of the one, who appeared among the as the Son of Man. Holding seven stars in His right hand.

fight to the death

It’s conceivable that with so much global disruption occurring through various and asunder wars going on at the same time. That the populace can’t appreciate that’s it’s a global world war. In it’s truest sense, World War Three.

With the warring participants having well defined goals. With one side of the equation being Islam and on the other side the United States and its coalition of nations. With Islam wanting a world to be ruled by a Caliphate who will govern the world by the edicts of Islamic law.

Opposing that conquest is the United States and its allies. Who in the simplest of terms wants the world to remain as it is. With the community of nations governing themselves by self determination. With the United States of course wanting those nations to understand that the American model is superior to all other models. From the perspective of power and wealth it is so, however, from the perspective of the distribution of wealth among all of its citizens it isn’t so.

This war is complicated because it’s so unconventional compared to histories previous global conflicts. Except from the American side and its allies were soldiers are uniformed. Dressed with all all the armaments of conventional warfare.

From Islamic side of the equation none of the aforementioned is observable. Here in the U.S. one could be shopping, banking, partying; and attacked by a knife, or a gun carrying Muslim busy with his or her slaughter. Or crash by truck, or boom from a suicide bomber. Leaving in its aftermath the wounded and dead.

Muslims could not care less whether one is terrorized or not. Or how brave the populace is in denouncing terror, and pledging not to allow life to be altered by Islamic jihadist. However, if one is terrorized, to a jihadist that’s okay. It’s the end result that matters which is a nation falling under Islamic rule. That’s what Islam wants understood globally. All the in between stuff is just a means to an end.

For tomorrow, why a lampstand can do what an army can not.

tomorrow is depended upon today

After yesterdays discussion of sci fi stuff made real, it’s time to hit the customary stuff. Which is about church and state. And in particular the United States, and its association with land based lampstands.

Now these lampstands aren’t your usual holders of light. But as we have learned from previous discussions they represent ordinary people. And through their ordinariness they are able to accomplish what’s most unusual. Which in light of yesterdays discussion, they must step up and do what’s not ordinary. Because tomorrow is depended upon today.

There was a Jewish assembly or synagogue in what today is Turkey. Which was one, of six other synagogues in the area. Those Jews had abandoned the rites, and ceremonies of the old economy under Judaism. And embraced the new economy offered by and through Jesus. Whose purpose during His first advent as their Messiah was to establish for the Jews their long promised kingdom on earth. Jesus didn’t come here for the purpose to be brutally tortured and murdered. That’s just the way things played. From the perspective of divine providence it’s about choice. Choice is complicated with many scenarios. By their choice, their kingdom will be established in the future. It’s that in between period that’s playing out on the world stage today.

John put together what he knew about each of those seven assemblies. Combined them into one manuscript, and made them available to those collective assemblies. And perhaps, to all other known assemblies in the then known world. There is praise and condemnation directed at each assembly. Suggesting a return to the former or experience the consequences.

Except for the assembly at Smyria. Where John, talks only about the consequences of faithfulness resulting in the crown of life. John offers no hint as to what it means to be given that crown of life. One can only suspect it represents a special status for those who have earned it.

It should be understood that those combined letters are relevant today. Suggesting behaviors to emulate, and circumstance to be aware of, so that one is not derailed. Then to experience having their lampstand snuffed out.

pirsig down by 100

Turned down by 100 publishers. Robert M. Pirsig, author of the 1974, philosophical classic, who journeyed readers into an inquiry into values, “Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance.” It’s been said that a million copies of the book were sold. Perhaps thousand more checked out at libraries or copies shared among friends. Dead at age 88.

Got an idea? Keep at it because that was the Pirsig model and it worked. It was also the Pauline model. The Jew hating prosecutor, who had a life turn around experience. And ended up writhing, fourteen New Testament books. The bedrock of Christendom from the first century, and just as relevant in our twenty first century. Here’s something he knew a lot about. So Paul wrote, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” See Philippians 4:13.

Paul had an interesting approach to life. It was one of get it done then you’ll abound. Wonder if it was the Pirsig model?

He’s a guy who was ship wrecked, shunned by associates and jailed. He revolutionized the world. By insisting that it was time set aside the culture and rituals of Judaism and embrace the Christ culture of receiving Him and then doing for Him. The setting aside of the works of the law. For the atoning grace, of Jesus. That’s what his fourteen books are all about.

Here’s the Pauline model for getting things done. Do now and get later “Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. Now you Philippians know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only.

For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you. A sweet smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” See Philippians 4:14-19.

Even the sweet smelling aroma which could have been used to barter with or exchange for food, lodging or travel. It’s all about doing and it’ll get done. It’s part of the Christ mystery.

stuff of sci fi made real

Some say victors are readers. It covers all disciplines, and in particular a thing called religion. So if one wants to be a victor it’s incumbent to see the Bible as a historical collection of sixty six plus books to be read and their contents mastered. The plus books not canonized by earthlings, but which are no less inspirational. Where symbols are used to convey illustrative truths. Written by dozens writers covering centuries of history from humanities dawn to the dusk of human experiences.

And then, opening a new chapter about a new heaven and earth. But before that get this. Peter describes the burning up of the earth and everything within it. See 2 Peter 3:10. What could precipitate such an event? A world gone mad by the proliferation of multiple nuclear equipped states nuking each other. Or the day of the Lord described as a sudden occurrence like a a fast moving thief in the night. In verse 11, Peter encourages the world community to evaluate their behaviors. By answering this question, “What manner of persons ought we be?” He answers by recommending conduct of godliness. In verse twelve Peter reiterates what he said in verse ten. In verse thirteen, Peter says the end results will be a new heaven and earth where righteousness prevails. That will be a welcome change, so as Peter says, look forward to it.

Can you imagine a world without police departments. A world without nation states with their arsenals of cyborg or robotic soldiers, tanks and nuclear equipped drone driven submarines and aircraft. All designed to preserve life and maintain global tranquility. But, like all human endeavors the end result is perfect annihilation.

Seems the Christ way is the best way and that’s the job of His lampstands. Lampstand is a euphemism for people. A very ordinary people but equipped with an awareness that makes them extraordinary. Here again a study of the past three discussions is apropos.

Going deeper into the world of esoteric literature. Where such subjects as instant bodily transformations occur. Something all together different from the customary expectation from the usual terrestrial body. To celestial beings being among us and where it is said that some entertained angels being unaware of the experience. On it could go.

a warriors portfolis

Yesterday, we took an unusual journey discussing the unusual with how to make it the usual. With out being a skilled anybody. Just by being the ordinary you. We can defy the most significant advancements of intelligentsia with a simple easy to understand and use formula.

The stakes are high because the American way of life is at risk. Taking it a step further without immediate change America will be obliterated from the world scene. Whether apostate Christendom, the government, Wall Street or the combined community of intelligentsia disagrees. It doesn’t matter. What matters is you. Yesterdays discussion concerning the nonfunctional ability of the human senses as conduits for change or healing is apropos.

Jesus is the one John saw among His churches as lampstands. Holding in His right seven stars. Which are angels associated with His churches, you and me. See Revelation 1:12; 20.

Christ presented Himself as a warrior through John, who was given this portrait to paint. Painting a picture of His churches, you and me. So John begins his sketching by developing an image of one midst of a group of lampstands. Stroking the figure of someone was like the Son of Man. Clothed with a garment down to His feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in his right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shinning in its strength. See Revelation 1:13-16.

The canvas is painted and conjures this picture. Yes! An unexpected picture of a warrior. A Christ, who is of royalty and sovereignty symbolized by His attire. It’s a worthwhile study to able to associate the names of God with His character. Because it’s how we get to know Him in His sovereign majesty. In Genesis 1:1, as Elohim, His supremacy is established which reads, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” We know that Jesus is God because He said, “The Father and I are one. See John 10:30. Therefore Jesus has the legal right to insist that the worlds people conform their behaviors according to His directives.

Also seen picturesquely is the majestic character of Christ with His perfect resilience against all challenges and challengers. He is our Commander in Chief and offers defenses that can’t be penetrated. Again, yesterdays discussion is apropos here.

We are His lampstands. Humans, not concrete and stained glass edifices called churches. Which are usually used for empire building, and not light to show the way to Christ and His tenets. If it were otherwise America would be very different from the America we know today.

One discussion builds upon another, so visit us tomorrow, and see if America has a future.

a well traveled road still a mystery

Decadence is sweeping the nation with greater acceptability by the American populace. The greatest truth teller ever provided this warning, as a supernatural forecaster. Go and tell this people, “Keep on hearing but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.” Make the hearts of this people dull, and their eyes heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.” See Isaiah 6:9-10. A prophetic announcement launched by Jesus with all kinds of ramifications through the centuries.

Centuries later the Son of that truth teller, a future forecaster in His own right reaffirmed His Father’s words to Isaiah, as a message for today. “Therefore, I speak to them in parables because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And seeing you will see and not perceive; for the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes have closed, lest should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.” See Matthew 13:13-15.

In that all the senses of perception are nonfunctional as conduits for healing. How are the nations people going to put in reverse the decadence sweeping the nation by practice or acceptability?

The ways of divine providence though its mysteriousness represents the only vehicle of reversal from decadent behavior by deed or acceptability. There are various formulas available to erase decadency by practice or agreement.

The mockers of Jesus as He hung on that cross by driven nails into His bodies. Shouted these prophetic truth, “Hail, King of the Jews!” See John 19:3. Sometimes all it takes is a scriptural word or phrase to bring about change. Paul writing to Timothy and us, wrote, “I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate. that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing. Which was manifest in His own time. He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of Kings and Lord of lords.” See 1 Timothy 6:13-15.

“These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings. And those who are with Him are called chosen and faithful.” See Revelation 17:14.

“And He has on His robe, and on His thigh a name written. KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS.” See Revelation 19:16.

“For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12.

Just by saying the right word, king, at the right time has piercing effect of Hebrews 4:12. It was made sacred when Pilate’s  soldiers mocked Jesus on the cross. Saying, Hail, King of the Jews.

The word blessed in, Psalms 1:1, carries all the significances of Hebrews 4:12. It’s easy to use in lots of conversations. Like in a greeting or as a good bye remark. Like I’m glad to see you or have a blessed day. Not only does it call into play Hebrews 4:12, but also, Isaiah 55:11, “So shall My word that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing which I sent it.” Bring about this remarkable occurrence, “The wind blows were it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone born of the Spirit.” See John 3:8.

And that’s the way divine providence through its mysteriousness is the vehicle of reversal from decadent behavior by deed or acceptability.

And that’s why, we in Christ don’t have to use violence to change the world. It can be done by the usage of a single word. This padre suggests that you memorize as many scriptures as possible. Then be focused, as you encounter people using a word, a phrase, a verse or more. All done with faith upon the cited scriptures. Letting them reap the glory for our resurrected Christ.

undersatanding the paris france fiasco

Allah is our objective. The prophet Muhammad is our leader. The Qur’an is our law, Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

Perhaps that was the prayer Muslim, Karim Cheurfi. And all those Islamic liberators that preceded him, and the many jihadists that will follow him.

Solution: Exit Muslims to the wastelands of their ancestors. Close their military fortresses called mosques.

No safety when among a Muslim. You never know when it might your turn to be greeted by Muslim hate.

a trio that will destroy america

Though the significance of Holy week is behind us the memories are not. Indeed the mysteriousness concerning the tenets of Holy Week confronts and confuses all who want to silence the Christ message. That is good reason for you and me, His church to be jubilant! Prepared, and engaged to retaliate against all who mocked our recent observation of Holy Week. By mocking the Christ crucifier’s with people being brought to redemption through Jesus.

Zachariah captured for us this haunting memory. “They will look upon Me whom they have pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. See Zachariah 12:10.

Paul, the greatest churchman ever to have lived said this about John. Who was one the twelve disciples of Jesus. And recognized by Paul, as one of the three pillars that made team Jesus work. See Galatians 2:9. John held Pilate responsible for causing His Christ and ours to suffer unmerciful brutality. Allowing his soldiers to twist a crown made of thorns onto His head. Mocking Him by dressing Him in a purple robe. Then laughingly saying, “Hail, King of the Jews. Then in a spirit of utter contempt for Jesus they struck him with their hands.” See John 19:1-3.

The question to be answered individually because the church consists of individuals. Have you, have I, have we collectively reached the state of spiritual awareness that we indeed are grieving His murder? And those, cruel behaviors that precipitated His execution? Beyond what, we would grieve for the loss of a loved one or a firstborn child? If so, then, we should be very angry because the mockery and piercing of our Redeemer continued through Holy Week 2017 and reaches us today. As His executioners work to silence His church, in ways unimaginable by the nations founding father’s.

Is there a greater mockery of Holy Week that has turned a tragedy into week of merry making? Yes! Because, the unthinkable has occurred. With the trio that will destroy America. The ordination of homosexuals as ministerial servants of Jesus Christ by some church denominations. The nation wide legality of homosexual marriages. Nothing is more sicking to Jesus Christ than to hear a man refer to another man as his wife. And lastly, allowing people to use public bathrooms by gender identification, and not gender identification recorded on their birth certificates

Here’s an expose on the matter. “Professing to be wise, they became fool.” See Romans 1:22. And in the process, Paul warns, “That those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” See Romans 1:32b.

Paris France

A police vehicle parked in an area favored by tourist was ambushed by a Muslim. Using an automatic weapon that devil pulled the trigger killing a thirty year old police officer. In the process of fleeing the scene he shot and wounded two other policemen.

ISSI through its propaganda machine,Amag, said the attack was executed by one of its fighters. ISSI identified him as the Belgian.

In 2001, that Muslim devil shot two police officers. While in custody, and being interrogated, pure evil, grabbed another officer’s gun and shot him three times. French source said the killer was known to French security forces. Which prompted this question, why wasn’t he kept under close surveillance? Answer, we don’t have the money necessary to keep all of our security threats under tight surveillance. Ring any bells, as to your security while in the midst of hooligans called Muslims?

There is only one solution. Europe, and the United States must come to the realization that wherever there is a Muslim our well being is in serious jeopardy. These are desperate times and laws need to be changed. Giving the government the authority to exit Muslims to the Islamic hell holes of their choice. In the meantime their military fortresses called Mosques need to be eliminated by law.

Here’s a piece of prophet advice. You need to know biblical history to fully appreciate the following. “He shall be a wild man; (Ishmael the father of Islam) his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Said the Jewish seer, Moses in Genesis 16:12. Said more than fourteen centuries before Christ.

Followed by Sarah, who said to her husband Abraham. Who impregnated his families maid, and who is responsible for this global Islamic mess. “Cast out this bondwoman (Hagar mother of Ishmael) and her son; (Ishmael father of Islam) for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely Isaac.” See Genesis 21:10.

Abraham did not receive Sarah’s directive enthusiastically. So God chimed in and said, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.” See Genesis 21:11-12.

With the rejection of Ishmael as the worlds future through Arab Muslim influences. In favor of Isaac, with his Judeo-Christian lineage, as the worlds premiere governing apparatus. Those polar opposites are the reason the evils of Islam can’t be contained. Muslims are determined to replace Isaac by becoming the worlds premiere governing system. And why, the aforementioned solution must be implemented.

rebel rousing jew

Pilate had handed Jesus over to his executioners. Who would brutally nail and hang him from a cross. Only to torture him some more until they heard his final words. “Father forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Scriptural text:Luke 23:34). With his executioners thinking that they had silenced this rebel rousing Jew, forever!

But one controversy needed yet to be resolved. Pilate had written a title, and put it on the cross which Jesus hung from. Which read, “Jesus of NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.” Scriptural text:John 19:19). Then the religious authorities, no doubt dressed in their pompous attire confronted Pilate. Demanding, “Write not, The King of the Jews,” because He had said, “I am King of the Jews.” Pilate responded, “What I have written, I have written,” (Scriptural texts:John 19:21-22). It would seem that Pilate had immense respect for Jesus. As he had the title he had written done in three languages Hebrew, Greek and Latin. (Scriptural text:John 19:20). Perhaps sending the world this renowned message unwittingly reaching the world today. In every conceivable language. Which is the message heralded by one of God’s angels. By being air borne in the midst of the heavens. Having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth reaching every nation, tribe, tongue and people. (Scriptural text: Revelation 14:6).

Indeed the mysteriousness of our triune God confronts and confuses all who would silence the Christ message. Now that is good reason for you, and me His church to be jubilant! Prepared and engaged to bear much fruit as we journey the calendar until Holy Week 2018. Mocking the crucifier’s with people brought to redemption by Jesus. And with, every law reversed that dishonors our risen Christ.

Zachariah captured for us this haunting picture. Then they will look upon Me whom they have pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. (Scriptural text:Zachariah 12:10). The question to be answered individually because the church consists of individuals. Have you, have I, have we collectively reached the state of spiritual awareness that we indeed are grieving His murder? Beyond what, we would grieve for the loss of a loved one or a firstborn child? If so, then, we should be very angry because the mockery and piercing of our Redeemer continues today. As His executioners work to silence His church.

But the jubilant news is, He is King of Kings and Lord of lords. But be aware, “These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of Kings; and those, who are with Him are chosen and faithful.” (Scriptural text:Revelation 17:14).

Christ is the one John saw among His churches as lampstands. (Scriptural text:Revelation 1:13. He also saw the mystery of seven stars in His right which are angels associated with his churches, you and me. (Scriptural text:Revelation 1:20).

Christ presented himself as a warrior because John was given this portrait to paint for his churches, you and me. So John begins his sketching, as one like unto the Son of Man. Clothed with a garment down to his feet and girded about his chest with a golden band.

His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire.

His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace. And His voice as the sound of many waters.

He had in His right hand seven stars. Out of His mouth and His countenance went a sharp two edged sword. And His countenance was like the sun shinning in its strength. (Scriptural texts:Revelation 1:13-16).

For now, our Warrior King chooses to show His weaponry through His church, you and me. Some how, and rather mysteriously to us, He has given His churches the camouflage of His angels to make war. Why? Perhaps to assure His standing lampstands they will never be extinguished through His promise to His churches. When he told Peter, perhaps the first of God’s lampstands that the gates of hell would not prevail against His church. (Scriptural text:Matthew 16:18). It is worthy to note that Peter never had any greater authority than any other lampstand or church. Christ is the Church and its Pontiff for the sake of clarity. And no mortal, has or will ever take his place.

His head of white hair is suggestive of durability painting for us His enduring reliability. With His eyes like a flame of fire. Guaranteeing that as our sovereign Pontiff, He has the ability to see and destroy, as it were, at will, those who cross the line to extinguish any of His churches.

His war like portrait featuring feet like brass which are indestructible. Having been well tested by the heat of hostile combat. Battle wary perhaps, but still with a voice like the sound of many waters. Suggesting that His churches will endure and that the gospel will be preached reaching every nation, language and people.

Reinforcing a weapon that the world has no defense against. Those seven stars in His right hand which when commanded by Jesus can be more lethal than the worlds stockpile of weapons.

Combined with oratory skills likened unto two edged sword. Assuring His churches that He is the Word, and as such, our preaching of His everlasting gospel is just that, everlasting! It’ll never be silenced no matter the worlds combined efforts. Because He is our countenance, meaning Christ in us makes us one with him. (Scriptural texts:1 Corinthians 6:19;2 Corinthians 6:16. And that combination, is picturesque of the sun shinning in its strength!

Now that Jesus has confessed His credentials, as a warrior, where does that leave His church? It leaves His church with the responsibility of fighting the good war. Which is to be fought, with the weaponry aforementioned.

God inspired John to painted portraits of seven churches. It is thought that John combined them into one book sending them to all the known churches. Elaborating upon certain characteristics of His church in Revelation chapters two and three. Some were good and others not so good. With an emphasis upon repentance and change. Showing that the church is really about people and not structures. The key is to strengthen the good and eliminate the not so good, within each individual. Which is the source to spiritual empowerment. Then the collective church can executed its mission successfully. Having at its disposal all the weapons of warfare.

The journey from the cross

Christendom has completed its most sacred journey of our calendar year. With this being another in a series of discussions designed to make you angry but concluding with jubilance. Because unto us, was given a Savior, who would save His people from their sins.

And in so doing, He was murdered, but death could not capture its prey. Because death is the result of sin, and Jesus was sinless. And today, Jesus manifests Himself through His church which is you and me! So be jubilant because you can’t be defeated and neither can I! Nor will we taste the second death. Soon there will be discussions concerning death. Especially if one is worried about the funeral rites of interment. As to whether, or not, there is a hereafter? It’s a terrible unnecessary burden to bear. There is hope for people, who went to their grave denying the reality of life after death.

And so on that day centuries ago which is relived everyday since by far to few Christians. Who by their attitudes and behaviors mourn His torture. Just a though they were standing there, as Pilate took Jesus. And wiped Him, allowing his soldiers to twist a painful crown of thorns back and forth on His head. Then in mockery they put a purple robe on Jesus. Ridiculing Jesus, one can imagine with their smiles and laughter. Offering their collective voice in song like fashion. “Hail King of the Jews!” Then they struck Him with their hands.

Finally, Pilate had observed enough of this torturing of this brave man. So he went out to address the crowd once again. Saying, “Behold I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in him.”

Then Jesus made His way out to greet His executioners. Wearing His painful crown of thorns and purple robe. And Pilate made one last statement to them. “Behold the Man!” Signaling his respect for a courageous man that maybe he thought was more than just a mortal like himself. (Scriptural texts:John 19:1-5).

Where is this most courageous man ever to stand before Pilate? Where we would expect to find Him which is in the midst of His church. An institution not of concrete, wood or stained glass windows, but among people that He has pardoned as sinners. Saying to you and me, as he did to Peter, “And I also say unto you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Scriptural text:Matthew 16:18). Problematic experiences like misunderstandings, mockery, persecutions, prosecutions, jail, but not eradication.

Jesus is that rock, a solid substance that can’t be pulverized no matter what evils violently assail His people. And Peter would bear the responsibility, like you, and me to bear the testimony of Jesus. Even unto death, if necessary. Being responsible for chronicling what we have coined as the great commission received from heaven itself.

It came into being just before His execution occurred. When the apostle John observed this historic announcement. An angel flew in the midst of heaven holding the gospel to be preached. Reaching every nation, people and language. Saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” (Scriptural texts:Revelation 14:6-7).

Our responsibility is to first fear Him and then to give to Jesus our humble worship. Acknowledging His judgment as a sentence of death. And in our worship understanding that nothing occurs until Elohim which is translated meaning God. Who by His say so, made the heavens and earth, the seas and springs of water. In other words our primary duty is to glorify God with our praise, and to enjoy Him forever.

And the world has, and is today very engaged in destroying our primary duties to our God. And that should make all of Christendom very angry. But it doesn’t!
How do we know that Jesus is in the midst of His church? The apostle John by divine design was allowed to witness, and record the Christ presence to that effect. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day. And the Alpha and Omega said, “What you see write in a book and send it to the churches.” John then turned to see, who was speaking to him. He saw seven golden lampstands. One like the Son of Man. And He had in His right hand seven stars. John seeing Him, fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me. “Don’t be afraid; I am the the First and the Last. I am He who lives and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen! And I have the keys to Hades and of death. (Scriptural texts:Revelation 1:10-18).

With Jesus being among His people, His Church. That is the answer to the assaulting powers that would destroy everything God has commissioned. And we, as His lampstands of light. In the midst of seven stars, His angels among His churches. Must become angry enough not to allow that to occur. (Scriptural text:Revelation 1:20).

For those who do, He sustains with this promise. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. But rejoice, to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that, when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. (scriptural text: 1 Peter 4:12-14).

The undertaker came but in fear.

With this utterance by Jesus, “It is finished.” He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. And all the power brokers, one suspects, sighed with relief because their power and authority remained intact.

Little did they know that what they thought they had ended was just beginning.

After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus; but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate if he might take away Jesus; and Pilate gave him permission.

And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pounds. Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.

Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. So there they laid Jesus because of the Jews Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby. (Scriptural texts John 19:30;38-42).

And all was quiet, so it seemed; but Jesus, had already prepared his disciples for centuries  long tours of duties. Tagged as, “Dreams to live hope to give.” Up for the task, are you? If so, see that discussion dated, 12 April 2017.

in america something worth fighting for

Nature calls with her waning particularities in like manner. Because everything in nature has a beginning and ending, for our species, our waxing occurred by divine decree. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. (Scriptural text:Genesis 2:7).

Fight for the celebration of life.

It’s what’s in between that we must make the most of. Because it’s divinely recorded, As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, to be flourished. For the wind passes over it; and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. (Scriptural texts:Psalms 103:15-16).

The in between starts with this memorial commemoration of our slain Savior that death could not contain. Recorded for us in Zechariah are these humbling words. That should incite Christendom to war against those who disrespect our Christ with their Easter like shenanigans. “And they shall look upon Me, whom they have pierced. Yes, they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son. And shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his first born.” (Scriptural text:Zechariah 12:10b).

And that’s what Holy Week should be about. Our liberator, who enter Jerusalem on the back of an ass. And paid for our sins on the cross, would have it no other way.

And with His single sacrificial act, we as a species, are very distinct from all others because we were created in His image. (Scriptural text:Genesis 1:27). And now, therefore, we are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and the household of God. (Scriptural text:Ephesians 2:19). That is the desired results from our celebration of Resurrection Sunday

With a new evolutionary cycle is in place lets march to this beat in preparation for Holy Week 2018. Making this happen for those outside the family of God. For we are all the sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you are baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave or free, there is neither male or female; for we are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seek, and heirs according to the promise. (Scriptural texts:Galatians 3:26-29).

In America that’s something worth fighting for.

White House celebrates the arrest of Christianity

Holy Week moved closer to its climax, when Jesus cried with a loud voice, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Scriptural text:Matthew 27:46). John in chapter 19:30, put it this way. When Jesus, therefore, had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished.” And bowing His head, He gave up the spirit.” Adding more closure to the seven days that changed the world.

Good thing it happened then because the modern church is only up to capitulation and not change. As typified, by the annual Easter egg roll on the Monday after Resurrection Sunday. The government should be afraid of angering the church because of such mockery. Especially as one considers the drama of the past week and what’s it’s suppose to mean for the future. Ponder carefully the following and determine your role in the future.

It started eight days ago, when two disciples did as Jesus instructed. They brought to him an ass, and a colt, the foul of an ass. (Scriptural texts:Matthew 21:2;5-7). Then the multitudes who went before, and those who followed, cried saying, “HOSANNA-meaning liberator-the Son of David! Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord! HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!” (Scriptural text:Matthew 21:9). And when he came to Jerusalem, all the city was moved saying, “Who is this?” So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.” (Scriptural text:Matthew 21:11).

And the week ended victoriously, and behold there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. (Scriptural text:Matthew 28:2). And for fear of him the keepers (guards sent by Pilate) did shake, and became as dead men. (Scriptural text:Matthew 28:4). And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know you seek Jesus, who was crucified. HE IS NOT HEAR; FOR HE IS RISEN, AS HE SAID, COME SEE THE PLACE WHERE THE LORD LAY.” (Scriptural texts:Matthew 28 5-6).

Ending the old agreement of life under the law with all of it’s Jewish customs and rituals. Which served as a preparatory avenue for the ushering in of a new agreement between humanity and God. A contract between we Christians and God which reads, “Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead through the body of Christ, that you are married to another. To Him, who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.” See Romans 7:4;6.

Which has not been accepted by most Jewish people within Israel and through out the world. For that matter, this new agreement has mostly been rejected by the so called Christian community too. Except for the pompous ceremony and sparkling glamor of Easter. And for their rejection of Hosanna, the liberator of temporal troubles in the present time, as well as spiritual blindness. They like the guards sent by Pilate to guard His grave, are as dead people just like much of Christendom today. And, that is the story of Holy Week. Hosanna in the highest, would have us honor His resurrection by serving as liberators from temporal needs and spiritual darkness.

Easter, ever wonder where such an expression originated? Certainly not from Jesus. From previous discussions about those seven days, Jesus left clear instructions as to how He wanted to be remembered. He did not mention anything about Easter.

As best, as can be determine, Easter is a derivation of Eostra, the goddess of both dawn and spring. Supposedly, it dates back to the honoring of the vernal equinox of spring. Employing the Easter rabbit as a symbol of fertility, with the colored eggs symbolizing the growth of new life.

Well, one thing we know, Easter is what Holy Week is mostly about for most of Christendom. Who benefits, the most from the celebration of Easter? The very segments of society Jesus fought with. The merchants, government and apostate religions! The sales associated with Easter jingles ample profits into their collective bank accounts. Making the Easter season one the most profitable of the year. Especially, for area restaurants.

Governments love the Easter season, also. Because the Easter season is seen by them as a means of keeping the population in check. Meaning none of this nonsense Jesus encouraged. Like a government responsibility to use its influence to encourage its citizens to understand that temporal and spiritual solutions are found through their Father in heaven. And that governments need to absorb wise godly counsel from the church.

Whether Christ followers like it or not, government does not do anything out of fear of the church. Angering Christians over such mockery of what the season really means never enters the minds of most modern day politicians. Instead the government sees its role as enriching the few and impoverishing the many. Contrary to the secondary meaning of what what the season is about. Which is, one of liberation from temporal needs. Of course, the primary purpose being, “Unless you repent you shall likewise perish.” See Luke 13:1-3. And today, who is right there opposing the Christ way? By supporting government shenanigans, none other than many, not all, Christian churches. Celebrating by ignorance or on purpose paganism.

In the United States, one might argue that the government celebrates the arrest of Christianity with its annual, White House Easter roll. Which dates back to 1878, and takes place on Easter Monday. If we the church, today practiced the teachings of Christ. There would be no such annual shenanigans. But today, if such bravery were attempted the government would have us arrested as extremist and labeling us a dangerous militia. Which may be a good thing because there is a need to put the fear of God among those, who think that they know better than Jesus, what is good for the nation. And if you have read previous discussions, that represents blasphemy. A sin God condemns, but has been twisted to mean something that’s misleading.

This is some of what it takes to make the church effective in a modern twenty first century society. The Resurrection is about choice. It is recorded in Deuteronomy 30:19, “I call haven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, that both you and your decedents may live.” From Joshua 24:15, “And if it seems evil to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve…. But as for me and my house, we shall serve the LORD.” Should the decision be made not to agree with Moses and Joshua to choose life and serve the Lord. Jesus makes the consequences quite clear. And he, who does not take up the cross and follow after me is not worthy of Me.” (Scriptural text:Matthew 10:38).

Being unworthy of Jesus is something to be avoided. Because, it has only negative consequences. Empires like the United States disappear while on its way to nothingness. While the people bear much suffering in the process. There are tell tale signs along the way such as governmental confusion as to how to govern. Lawlessness increases exponentially and moral decadence becomes the new normal. Like hearing a man refer to his male partner as his wife. When such is the case, as in the United States, this then is her destiny. Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. (Scriptural text:Psalms 127:1).

There is a certain amount of self denial required when following Jesus. He said, those who will follow me, must deny themselves, and take up My cause as symbolized by the My cross. (Scriptural text: Mark 8:34). “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.” (Scriptural text:Mark 8:35). Such statements have to do with arguing for the provision of temporal needs for the people. Opposing merchants, apostate religious leaders, governments, who are sure to stand in the way. It’s in that context that the preaching of the gospel is never absent. The power of the gospel is the world changer. It’s a weapon of war as metaphorically illustrated by the Psalmist concerning another declared evil. Psalms 127:3-5, Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD. The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. But, they shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

One might suspect some additional worthy battles against such powerful foes would include the following. Temporal provisions such as universal health care, ObamaCare doesn’t qualify. Livable wages indexed to inflation, restructuring the tax system, universal affordable housing, free education beyond high school, reigning in global warming, embryonic stem cell research, limiting war to just wars like the war against Nazism, and today, the war against Islam a parallel evil. Just to cite a few examples. And never to be forgotten, the words of Jesus. As to who are the greater sinners. Using the Galileans, the unfortunate people who experienced death accidentally as metaphors. “I tell you, no; but unless you repent, you will likewise perish.” (Texts:Luke 13:1-5).

To do otherwise would be to succumb to our Caesar’s.They cried out! “Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!”  Pilate said unto them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, we have no king but Caesar!” (Scriptural text:John 19:15). And that is the echoing call, of modern day America. Led sadly enough, by most of Christendom. A nation that has chosen death over life. With God keeping a careful record. And if anyone has noticed, we, and our decedents seem to be headed towards a very dismal tomorrow. (Scriptural text:Deuteronomy 30:15). Because, so few are able to hear the centuries old echo from Joshua. “As for me and my house, we shall serve the LORD.” And by all means, keep your quiver full of arrows. And know that however, you use those dimensional mysteriousness of those arrows they pierce not causing death but life. For it is recorded. The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Scriptural text:Hebrews 4:12). From your quiver of arrows, pray that those shot, will experience confessed sins and acceptance of Christ, as redeemer and life reformer. Declaring that they, and their household shall serve the LORD.

Glorious, and victorious resurrection to all, as we journey to Holy Week 2018. May His cause be lived through us. As it’s recorded for us, “They that say that they abide in Him, ought themselves also to walk even as He walked.” (Scriptural text:1 John 2:6). The true meaning of Holy Week with its climatic discovery of the risen Christ.

Echos from the centuries

Today, and everyday, we should commemorate these words. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up his spirit. (Scriptural text John 19:30).

Centuries ago, on the day of His cruel murder some astonishing events occurred. As Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from from top to bottom. So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the son of God!” (Scriptural texts:Mark 15:37-39).

Just prior to His death, this is recorded, Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. (Scriptural text:Matthew 27:45). Perhaps as the Father in mourning, recalling events set in motion centuries ago. Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? (Scriptural text:Isaiah 53:1).

For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground.

He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.

He is despised and rejected by men. A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has born our griefs. And carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray. We have turned, every one, to his own way. And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

And they made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich, in His death. Because He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You made His soul an offering for sin. He shall see His seed. He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

He shall see the labor of His soul and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many. For He shall bear their iniquities. (Scriptural texts Isaiah 53:2-11).

Now here we are commemorating all those occurrences with God in His mercy advocating the following. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, who passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who can not sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Scriptural texts Hebrews 4:14-16).

Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things He suffered. (Scriptural text Hebrews 5:8).

To him that overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.  He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Scriptural texts:Revelation 3:21-22).

Powerful stuff for world changers from our crucified Christ.

Worlds foremost conversation

But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb.

And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”

Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”

Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him “Rabboni!” (which is to say teacher). Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'” (Scriptural texts:John 20:11-17 NKJV).

“I will praise You, For You have answered me, and have become my salvation. The stone the builders rejected has become the Chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Scriptural texts:Psalms 118:21-24 NKJV).

The journey of His resurrection continues, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God.” (Scriptural text:Colossians 3:1 NKJV).

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden in God. When Christ, who is our life appears, than you also will appear with Him in glory.” (Texts: Colossians 3:2-4 NKJV).

Yes! The world’s foremost conversation and hopefully Christendoms response. With great renewed strength and determination from all the previous discussions of the season.

Not an ordinary Saturday

Because it was preparation day, that bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath. The Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

The the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. And he who has seen, has testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he is telling the truth, so that you may believe. For these things were done that the scripture should be fulfilled. “Not one of His bones shall be broken.” And again another scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.” (Scriptural texts:John 19:31-37).

In our day? And? maybe theirs too.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “Who is and was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Scriptural text:Revelation 1:7-8).
