Answering Obama’s call 4 a better America

What were the goals of rampage shooters and one of their victims?

Here is one goal Christina had. Christina Taylor Green, age 9, shoot dead in Tucson. A child who played little league baseball where all the players were boys. And had a dream to be the first woman, to play major league baseball. Recently elected to her elementary school student council. Maybe curious about politics, she arrived at a shopping center parking lot to observe her congressional representative and met a fatal end.

President Obama said this about her, “I want us to live up to her expectations. I want our democracy to be as good as she imagined.” Suggesting in his speech that the way to do that is for Americans to become better people. Which the President said, could be accomplished by talking to one another in a way that heals, not a way that wounds.

Obama’s remarks usually fall mostly on the ears of people, who present no danger to anyone What the President should admit, is that harsh, hurtful and oppressive work places can engage people to take violent actions. And of course, we have Obama’s leaderless and goalless wars. With Obama not even able to identify Islam collectively as the enemy. Which also contributes to senseless violence through out the United States.

So who’s at fault and what can be done about it? The fault lies at the doorstep of the church! The Apostle Paul shared this truth with us. “Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill. The former preach Christ from selfish ambition not sincerely supposing to add affliction to my chains. But the latter out of love knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.” (Scriptural texts Philippians 1:15-16).

There are to many modern day churches who are into empire building. Even though they preach Christ. But their preaching of Christ is from envy lacking a realization of the chains of bondage they create upon those who follow Paul and thus know about persecutions and hardships.

More Churches need to join Paul’s latter group and it’s urgent. If America is to have a better future it’ll be because of the latter who preach the defense of the gospel with no self serving purposes and are willing to endure Paul’s chains.

From Obama, talk is talk, just that talk. But there will be plenty of action for the church to put their teeth into all the talk, that we sure will continue to hear. With most of it punitive and designed to further restrict our American liberties in regards to speech, second amendment rights and stand your ground laws.

So here’s some talk, not likely to occur, but needs to be said and acted upon. So a journey back through the corridors of time. To learn from a man, who would become the nations third president. “And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure, when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath. Indeed, I tremble for my country, when I reflect that God is just; that his justice can’t sleep forever,” Thomas Jefferson Query 18, 1781.

Sometimes, I wonder, if the succession of American presidents is in anyway associated with their awareness of God’s destiny for America. Meaning the further we get away from Washington, Adams and Jefferson the less awareness they have concerning God’s destiny for America. If so, and history suggests that is, then Mr. Jefferson, the primary author of the Declaration of Independence had some accurate insights. And Americans, like Jefferson, need to tremble for their country.

On more than one occasion, I have spent a good part of the day among some rather gifted intellectual students. Observing that they had no hesitation to be dishonest or even to be discreet with their unethical behaviors. And to blatantly disrespect God, flag and country.

There was a time in America, when the Ten Commandments were prominently displayed in the nations classrooms. It was not unusual to see a Bible displayed on a teachers desk. And not! absent from that duo was the American flag. So that students could offer their pledge of allegiance to God and country. Followed by the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer. But in today’s school environment the the display of the Ten Commandments, and the Bible are an observance of the past. The Lord’s Prayer has been replaced by that abominable moment of silence. And, the pledge of allegiance is slowly disappearing. With the word of the day being substituted in its place, at least in Florida’s high schools.

Who Knows? But this, we do know. It’s from Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” And this is how it works, “The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but can’t tell where it came and where it goes; so is everyone that is born of the Spirit,” John 3:8.

I don’t often get personal, but for this discussion it’s necessary. Decades ago with time to waste, I sat down. And noticed a booklet titled, “The Gospel of John.” I read portions from that booklet. Put it down and went my way. I attribute that occasion as being instrumental to my conversion to Jesus Christ. Thus fulfilling the scriptures of Isaiah 55:11 and John 3:8.

The answer the President is seeking, as is the nation. Will only be found with the return to prominence in America of Jesus Christ. This is what the Body of the risen Christ must strive to accomplish. “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Scriptural texts:Philippians 2:10-11).

Shooters in our midst

For many years to come the nation will try to sort out the whys, after a shooting rampages by gunman across the nation. We live in a society were we have to be vigilant wherever we go

Wow, tell us something that we don’t already know! Okay, I will!

From Revelation 13:1-2, “And I (John) stood upon the sand of the sea (symbolic for among the people) … the beast which I saw was like a leopard (the biblical definition for a leopard is of a creature in waiting. And is quick to kill because the sins of the people are great and getting worse, Jeremiah 5:6c…. and the dragon (dragon being defined as that old serpent, the Devil and Satan, Revelation 12:9) gave him power, and his throne, and great authority.”

In those few words, we have  worlds collective behavior from the past, present and future sketched before us. A dotted creature with dots providing it with camouflage. Making it difficult to detect but known for its speed. Able to attack at will while hardly being noticed. Almost like a mystery killer, who will thin out the population, making a defense impossible. That’s how sin, or unrighteousness works. It’s a human trait that’s puzzling. It inflicts all of us without exception. It’s just that it manifestation is more bizarre in some. It has its proof in a little Pauline revelation, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23. Everyone is susceptible to such behavior because Jeremiah said, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; and who can know it,” 17:9. Argue all you want that it isn’t so because the proof is in the manifested behavior.

Our scriptures often have duel usages for interpretations. A unique gift that God has given us in order to keep an ancient expression current. With the scriptures used, we have metaphors. The beast signaling something fearful which is being used as a metaphor for a human being. This human is sly described as a leopard in waiting. Who stands among us, and suddenly attacks and kills. In the workplace, supermarket shopping centers, parking lots, movie theater, parks, schools and anywhere the public gathers for work, business or fun. Safety is of the past.

And the blame game and the cause game is well under way, and will continue endlessly, so it will seem.

But our reliable scriptures provide the answer and the solution, not solutions but the solution.

Note: “A leopard shall watch over their cities; every one of them that goes out shall be torn to pieces, because their transgressions are many, and their turning from God (backsliding’) are many,” Jeremiah 5:6c.

For this scenario of events Jeremiah  gives us some metaphors to work with. Our beast (Revelation 13:1) Of rampage killers who emerged, as aforementioned and kill. Because of the peoples transgressions against God such behaviors will increase. Savage killers were the instrument of the beastly leopard. That old serpent, called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world; he was cast out into earth, and his angels with him,” Revelation 12:9b.

President Obama in repeated ceremonial acts of gamesmanship called the nation to a moment of silence. So that each could pray to their God. A complete offense to Jesus Christ. The government is insisting with increasing vigor. That America is a pluralistic nation involving many people, who pray to multiple Gods. That represents a transgression against God which is increasing with intensity called backsliding, Jeremiah 5:6c. Supported by his compatriot Isaiah, who reminds us that God said, “I, even I, am the LORD, and beside me there is no savior,” Isaiah 43:11.

America must retreat from its embracement of pluralistic religions and assorted Gods. Because America, became a nation born from the  family of Abraham. And deeply rooted, at one time in the scriptural history of our Judeo-Christian heritage.

What America is in desperate need of is period of national fasting and prayer. Led by a call to individuals, and national repentance by and through Jesus Christ. Only God can raise up such an individual because it certainly is not going to be President Obama.

Some will argue that the those shootings were a sign of the times which of course is a metaphor. But what most don’t know is that it really is a sign of the times which our scriptures teach will only get worse.

Y goverment is bad

From yesterday, “I will kill U cause U R bad,” keyed to give understanding to a world gone mad. Which boiled done to this, “But most of all because they know not my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The only one, who can make the contrast explicitly clear. By allowing detection of the camouflaged leopard.”

So here we go to the book of Daniel who helps explain the following. “And I (John) stood upon the sand of the sea (symbolic for among the people) … and the beast which I saw was like a leopard (the biblical definition for a leopard is of a creature that is watching. And is quick to kill because the sins of the people are great and getting worse, Jeremiah 5:6c). … and the dragon (dragon defined as that old serpent, the Devil and Satan, Revelation 12:9) gave him power, and authority,” Revelation 13:1-2.

Lets take a look at what Daniel unveils from chapter two. There we find a king by the name of Nebuchadnezzar, who represents darkness, the substance of all governments, including our own American government. And as with King Nebuchadnezzar, darkness is confusing, so it is with all governments. While the light is soothing because it represents God, who offers a bright future, not based upon hope, but upon his sacred promises. From which all governments should govern, and not just the empires Daniel will expose.

Daniel 2:31-38, reconstructs for King Nebuchadnezzar his forgotten dream. We discover that this grand image of his dream was magnificent, as it was beautiful. But its manifestation, as a living entity was terrifying to the King. What Daniel outlined for King Nebuchadnezzar, and for us today were images of kingdoms or governments. But in the schemes of importance these governments don’t amount to much. However from the perspective of darkness they are everything. From the perspective of light, they are just a collection of clay, stone, trees, metals and other substances from the earth. Molded into lifeless statues. I could develop this theme in much greater detail. But for now two scriptural references for support will due, First Isaiah 40:15, note a very little thing, and Daniel 2:21, note He removes kings and sets up kings.

Looking at verse 36, Daniel interprets the dream. Sharing with King Nebuchadnezzar the existence four powerful kingdoms. Can you imagine in the history of the world, world governments are lumped into four kingdoms? Imagine it because it so, therefore, understand what’s between those kingdoms and governmental darkness is owned by you. What’s between those four kingdoms is important. With the fourth kingdom giving life to ten additional kingdoms. They are on the world scene today. Well at any rate King Nebuchadnezzar is told that he is the head of gold. And that his Babylonian empire would rule the then known world with authority and power.

One can only imagine King Nebuchadnezzar’s reaction upon finding out that two other kingdoms would rule the then known world, after his fall from power. Perhaps he found comfort of being told that they would be inferior to his Babylonian kingdom. But it didn’t end there because Daniel sets forth the characteristics of yet a fourth empire. This fourth empire is the strongest of the four. Though it too would be plagued with problems (wars and divisions) and would be divided into ten kingdoms, verses 40-49.

Theologians and historians are generally agreed on a time scale for these four world empires. Suggesting that the Babylonian empire reigned from 605 B.C through 538 B.C. Followed by the Medo-Persian empire for the period between 538 B.C. through 331 B.C. to be replaced by the the Grecian empire 331-168 B.C. Only to see the creation of the Roman Empire from 168 B.C. through 476 A.D. This great Roman Empire which fought many crusades and humiliated the worlds modern day darkness of Islam. Saw itself divided into ten kingdoms around 476 A.D.

And really fast forward through the pages of history. It’s thought today that old divided nations of ancient Rome have emerged as the European Union. This emergence is still a work in progress. Along with the rebirth of Islam, as a primary source of darkness and evil. It’s thought that this beast of Revelation 13:1-2 will emerge to terrorize the world. But the beast is characterized as a leopard, so the world will hardly notice the impending darkness. No more than it does right now, and one wonders what Jesus is thinking. As He sees His church marching pretty much in step with the darkness.

Closing note: Turkey has sought membership in the European Union. Seeing itself, as much a part of Europe, as it is a part of the Middle East. It’ll not happen because Turkey is a Muslim nation. And the beast of Revelation 13:1-2, is thought to be the Roman Catholic Church. The dragon will not allow such a union because the two (church) and (Islam) have been mortal enemies for centuries. Perhaps because the dragon needs Islam to destroy the United States. Because all the world will worship the beast at some point in history. And the United States tolerates Catholicism, as one of its zillions of sects that are free to practice their religion. But to pay homage to a pope, it’ll not happen, unless. And the unless is underway, but it’s not noticeable because of the camouflaged leopard of  darkness.

With these 49 verses of Daniel chapter two, Daniel has sketched a history of darkness and light. Showing clearly that the light which is our God, the Lord Jesus Christ will prevail as the Beauty, who slays the darkness of the Beast.

I will kill U cause U R bad

From Revelation 13:1-2, And I (John) stood upon the sand of the sea (symbolic for among the people) … and the beast which I saw was like a leopard (the biblical definition for a leopard is of a creature that is watching. And is quick to kill because the sins of the people are great and getting worse, Jeremiah 5:6c). (And the dragon being defined as that old serpent, the Devil and Satan, Revelation 12:9). gave him power, and his throne, and great authority.”

In those few words, we have the worlds past, present time and reaching into the future sketched before us. A dotted creature with its dots providing it with camouflage. Making it difficult to detect but known for its speed. Able to attack and kill at will while hardly being noticed. Almost like a mystery killer, who will thin out the population, making a defense impossible. With the beast being an unknown human, who may or may not be living among us right now. But the leopard has been, is and will continue to be among us to the end. With their end being a nasty place which is described as follows, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever,” Revelation 20:10. Unfortunately for us, it’s a chronicle of what darkness resents.

As this is the third consecutive discussion on the subject. With one more to follow and then we move on to Tucson, Arizona and a discussion about the shoot out by Jared Lee Loughner with his semi-automatic, Glock 19. With the blame and cause game well in play. We’ll see what the prophet Jeremiah and others had to say about all this.

In order to add greater clarity to those two verses, we shall visit the book of Daniel. This the third discussion in a short series that contrasts the difference  between darkness which most can’t see and are thus unable understand the ‘y’s of the evil that surrounds them. And the light, which also isn’t noticeable to MOST, even though the contrast is explicit. The extremes of the end between darkness and light are magnificent. Because no matter how dark times might get the light prevails. People should not miss the opportunity to come to grips with the many aspects of darkness and light. Especially the way current history is unfolding before us. But most will because they know not, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The only one, who can make the contrast explicitly clear. By allowing detection of the camouflaged leopard.

Next what Daniel reveals that will help understand Revelation 13:1-2.

Dire Straights

Oh! how civilization has moved on with one creative advancement after the other. Perhaps such an instinct was inherited from the one who said, “I’ll ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High,” Isaiah 14:14. Which is the human intent, but said in a more subtle way. With most, and certainly the community of nations seeing God as a relic of the past.

One might say, justifiably, that arrogance is what plagues individuals and the community of nations. Thinking that they can become more than they where destined. The key to happiness, and success is to find ones fit in life, and make the best of it, whether an individual or a nation. Yes, all things are possible with God, but not with us. That’s the lesson the woman teaches us followed by her excuse making husband, Adam, Genesis 3:4-6,12.

And part of God’s response was to say, “Behold! the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil,” Genesis 3:22. Our Bible paints such behaviors as spaces in time, where one is blanketed as being evil, and expressed, as agents of darkness. Creating confusion because the darkness is so persuasive practically obstructing the brightness of the light or everything that is good.

The good is seen as the light or good showing the way. Allowing for the provision of everything humanity seeks and needs for our respective lives. Whether as individuals, or as a community of nations. Rejected, though by the majority of both individuals and nations. Shedding light, as to why individuals and the world are in such dire straights. Moving towards what the Bible declares to be dooms day. “And except those days should be shortened there should be no flesh saved,” Matthew 24:22a. With God being merciful, “But for the elect’s sake (those secure in Christ) those days shall be shortened,” Matthew 24:22b.

Daniel gives us a glimpse of this in Daniel 2:22, saying this, “He (God) reveals the deep and secret things.” That’s what individuals and governments want. With the deep suggestive for what is craved. But for most it’s elusive, seemingly secret, for both individuals and nations. Thus gamemenship, the getting of the upper hand that leads both down the path of darkness. Where there are no rules, except, catch me if you can. Because I, and we, will ascend above the heights of the clouds, and become like God.

Daniel continues by knowing that its the darkness that makes the light elusive. Directing us to know the light because it’s the light which dwells with God that makes that elusive light brighter than the rising sun. Promising to get even brighter, as the light progresses through the ages of history but not without some very troubling times. And that is what is meant by the two phrase in Daniel 2:22. “He (God) reveals the deep and secret things, 22a,” and, “He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him, 22b.” Erupting with the Matthew 24:22 occurring sometime down the corridors of history.

Beastly behavior

In this world two primary kingdoms exist. One represents everything that is evil while the other everything that is good. For the former many subsets exist, with variable shades of evil when compared to the latter. But nevertheless both the former and latter are evil. It’s just that the latter contains less evil. Which includes our beloved United States. Equally unfortunate, is that the latter is spoiled by many existing subsets which encompasses the United States. Through its zillions of different religions that dot our land. Making it difficult to understand how God could speak in so many different voices. And in some cases adding to the evil that is desperate to over shadow the good. Consequently; nullifying the validity of Christianity, for many.

The battle of evil verses good started centuries ago which helps to explain the conflicts between individuals and nations. And very interestingly, its effects us today in ways unknown to most.  All evil verses good boil down to this truism, one way, or another, a better way is mine, therefore do as I say. Personal conflicts while not necessarily evil, also boil down to that truism.

It started this way, evil verses good. Centuries ago the Serpent said to the woman, “… you will not die! God knows that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes will be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil, Genesis 3:1-5. Exactly what evil verses good boils down to. Which is an attempt to promote something you are not, or can’t become, which is what evil promises.

On the world scene, it’s what the United States preaches to the world community. Follow us, and practice capitalism and our form of freedom or democracy. Going as far as to suggest that the nation is the light of the world. Being able to discern between evil and good. Silently saying, that makes us like God. Here is the proof, our God like character has given us the ability to create life forms. First through artificial intelligence and then through genetic cloning. Is that a part of what of what Genesis 3:4-5 teaches? And, that is one aspect of American evil.

Part of God’s response was to say, … Behold! the man has become as one of us to know good and evil …” Genesis 3:22. And so what happens next, in that man by divine declaration had become like God? God placed some restraints on His god like creation. Saying, “I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not evil to give you an expected end,” Jeremiah 29:11. And during that journey behave this way, “And be not confirmed to this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God,” Romans 12:2. Because, “He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day,” John 12:48.

Different ways

When a man loses the prestige that he once had, he becomes the plaything of others.

A lion worn out with age and feebleness lay breathing his last. First came a boar, and with a blow from its flashing tusks took revenge on him for an old injury.

Then a bull lowered its horns and gored its enemy’s body.

A donkey, seeing these attacks delivered with impunity, started kicking the lion’s forehead with its heels. The lion was on the point of expiring, ‘it was hard enough to bear,’ he said, ‘when those brave animals triumphed over me. But as for you, you shameful blot on creation to be at your mercy, as I die is like dying twice over.’ (source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-“The Mighty Fallen”)

All conflicts boil down to this truism. one way, or another, a better way is mine, therefore do as I say. Until adversities take hold, and one becomes vulnerable for payback. For human nature can be merciless, when it senses that payback can’t be revenged.

It had it origins centuries ago, when the serpent said to the woman, “… You will not die! God knows that in the day you eat thereof, (note discussion Genesis 3:1-3) then your eyes will be opened, and you shall be as God, (exactly what all conquest promise) knowing good and evil,” Genesis 3:4-5.

Perhaps the serpent thought it was time to pay God back for having him dispatched from heaven. “And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his  angels and prevailed not. Neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him,” Revelation 12:7-9. But not wanting to tangle with God directly, after such grand defeat, it decided to take revenge on the woman.

And the serpent succeeded, and from that time Aesop’s fable has produced ramifications. Allowing each reader to know one, or both sides of the fable.

But God has no regrets concerning the serpents fated fall from heaven, and He is not about to expire. Instead this our future that He will bring about. “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie with the young goat. The calf and the young lion, and the young animals together; and the child shall lead them,” Isaiah 11:6. And it just gets better, “He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; and nation shall not lift up its sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more,” Isaiah 2:4.

With this plea, “O house of Jacob, come you, and let us walk in the light of the LORD,” verse 5. Everyone in Christ is of the house of Jacob. So we should intensify our efforts to show those on the outside of Jacob’s house the way inside. Because his house leads towards what everyone wants, peace of body, mind and spirit.

As for the serpent, he checked outside of Jacob’s house along time ago. With God denying him the comforts of paradise. Creating this monument, “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever,” Revelation 20:10. Bet ya that old serpent will regret the acts of revenge that it took out upon the woman. And the unknown multitudes, who have felt the brunt of his revenge.

Disarmed

A lion fell in love with a farmer’s daughter and wooed her. The farmer could not bear to give his daughter in marriage to a wild beast; yet he dared not refuse.

So he evaded the difficulty by telling the importunate suitor, while he quite approved of him as a husband for his daughter, he could not give her unless he would pull out his teeth and cut of his claws because his daughter was afraid of them.

The lion was so much in love that readily submitted to these sacrifices. But when he presented himself again, the farmer treated him with contempt and cudgeled him off the premises.

Do not be to ready to take advice which is offered to you. If nature has given you special advantages over others, do not let yourself be deprived of them, or you will fall an easy prey to people who stand in awe of you. (source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-“Disarmed”)

Here is the best that nature has to give. “Therefore, you shall love the LORD thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His ordinances and His commandments,” Deuteronomy 11:1, and verse 21, so, “That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.”

Because your adversary, as a roaring lion is out to get you and confident that he can devour you, 1 Peter 5:8. Because he said so, to God’s face. “All that a man has will he give to save himself,” Job 2:4. Under such circumstances, you got have the cleverness of the farmer in order to make that Lion toothless and claw less. God has given us this strategy to hold that Lion in contempt and then cudgeling him of the premises. It’s recorded in Psalms 119:133, “Direct my steps in your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.”

Despair replaced by repair

Few things are more intriguing than the knowledge of religion and government. Both are deeply ingrained into the consciousness of the American people. Both have proven themselves to be ineffective and they can be very dangerous. And because of that, despair has reigned since the church Christ founded.

The teachings of Jesus Christ, offers hope, not for religion, but for His church. Then through his church, government has a chance to be effective. This can be accomplished through two little known doctrines. Both of which Jesus taught, and are known as liberation theology and situational ethics. Which are old doctrines, dating back to around the 1800’s.

You’ll not find them mentioned in your Bible. Because they are doctrines developed by theologians. But firmly rooted in the scriptural teachings of Jesus Christ. The focus is on what Jesus said and how He lived His life. The life of Jesus was about liberation. Each situation He encountered required a different situational response in accordance with His ethics. So it should be for His church.

With His liberation teachings and situational responses playing out on the world stage today. It is one of the messages of the book of Revelation. Seven times in the early chapters a significant phrase is stated with a specific promises. The phrases, “Those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches. To those, who overcome will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God,” Revelation 2:7.

“Those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches. Those that overcome shall not be hurt by the second death,” Revelation 2:11.

“Those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches. To those that overcome, will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in that stone a new name is written which no one knows except those who receive it,” Revelation 2:17.

“And I will give them a morning star. Those who have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches,” Revelation 2:28-29.

“Those that over come the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot their name out of the block of life, but will confess their name before My Father, and before His angels. Those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches,” Revelation 3:5-6.

Warning: “Behold I come quickly; hold fast to that which you have. That no person take your crown. Those that overcome will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and they shall go no more out; and I will write upon them the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem which comes down out of heaven from My God; and I will write upon them My new name. Those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches,” Revelation 3:11-13.

“To those that overcome, will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, even as, I also overcame and am set down with My Father on His throne. Those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the churches,” Revelation 3:21-22. Over come what, for what promises? The answer, even as, I also overcame. So must His body of believers, His church.

The practice of liberation theology along with situational ethics. Recognizes the conflicts, and the dangers inside and outside of the Christian perimeter. As suggested by the aforementioned phrases and promises within the cited scriptures. Contrary to the expression, life is a bowl of cherries, it isn’t. Especially the Christian life, even though that is a common attitude among many, who call themselves Christians. From the aforementioned phrases and promises. The Christian life is about conflict requiring liberation. Combined with an adequate situational response

Practitioners of liberation theology along with their practice of situational ethics. Must cast a suspicious eye on government because government is not the friend of Christianity. To the contrary, government is the enemy of Christianity. Government uses Christianity to advance its own agenda. In some instances putting into jeopardy its own survival. One such example, is the excluding of Christianity from its Christ centered role through out the public and private sectors of the nation. Followed by the American government giving safe haven for the growth of Islam through out the United States.

Our American society has a rich history of dependence upon a heritage developed from Abraham to Jesus. Concepts from both the Old and New Testaments that cemented the nations legal, social and cultural reliance upon the God of Abraham. As a nation, we referred to that history as our Judea-Christian heritage. Which created an inseparable bond between Israel and the United States. With all the aforementioned in this paragraph being in serious jeopardy. As the nation turns its back upon its heritage that made it great.

A successful society with all its biblical entitlements are accomplished through adherence with biblical teachings. And that was one purpose for God’s incarnation among us as being human while not surrendering His divinity as our God/man, He understood God’s expectations for human achievement. It was to be liberated through situational reactions based upon preordained scriptural standards for all civilizations. Starting with the following, “And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world, as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come,” Matthew 24:14.

To adhere to a religion has never been apart of God’s vocabulary. Jesus had nothing good to say about religion or political systems. He called them hypocrites and said they would experience greater damnation than most, Matthew 23:13-14. Why, because they bind heavy burdens and lay them on the shoulders of the people, verse four. They represent blind guides, verse 24. Jesus said they had the appearance of beauty but were really rotten to the core, verse 27.

Religionist are people, who gather in groups of various numbers. And then, decide what the Bible teaches. And what they disapprove of, they ignore. They then become a sect of some sort scattered through out protestant community. Of course, then there is Catholicism and many other non-protestant non-catholic sects, who also claim divine authority to speak for God.

And now we have an earthly mess, all because of religion. Then they join hands in a cooperative ventures with politicians to stamp out anything that resembles the liberation theology that Jesus advocated. Christ described such movements, as those who have the appearance of righteousness, verse 28. Religionist partner with politicians, during the time of Jesus, and turned Him over to the government, Mark 15:1. These religionist accused Jesus of many crimes, verse 3, and demanded His crucifixion, verse 13. Finally, the government turned Jesus over to the religionist to be crucified, verse 15. That is how two evils work together to silence opposition to their shared agenda. The tactics today may be different but the end result is the same. At any cost silence the opposition to the agenda of the religionist and their cronies through out the political world in America.

From the Christ perspective here is His liberation theology put into play.  Sometime in the future the Son of Man will gather all nations together, Matthew 25:32. The people of the world will be judged, verse 34. Hungry and you feed me, thirsty, and you gave me water, you provided shelter, clothing, sick you visited me, in prison you came, verses 35-36.

The question was asked, when did we do those things, verses 37-39? The answer followed in verse forty, If you did it for one of My brethren you have done it unto Me. That is what liberation theology and situation ethics is all about. To liberate is to see and to act through scriptural ethics is what makes for situational ethics of liberation.

One of the key words used is brethren. It has no exclusions. All races, creeds, cultures represents the global unity through Christ. It’s our world duty to look after each other. There is but one God, and that God can’t be experienced differently, by the various global cultures. Because God said, “Understand that I am He. I, even, I am the LORD, and beside Me there is no Savior, Isaiah 43:10b-11.

The doctrines of liberation theology and situational ethics were just touched upon. They are rich in practical and historical depth which includes the gnostic gospels. Including  church writings not authorized by King James, when he commissioned  the canonization of the King James Bible. Most of those writings and teachings are neglected by most modern day religionist. Showing the blinding influence of religious cults and the politicians, who need them to control the masses of the people. Lest they rebel in the Christ spirit of liberation. as the situation dictates.

And rebel we should, as Christians through the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The ultimate act of liberation with a deliberate God directed situational response. And now the arts of liberation with situational responses, being our responsibility.

Obviously from scriptures referenced from the early chapters of the book of Revelation. God must have had something other in mind than fine linen clothing, fancy cars and concrete castles called churches. Phrases like, for those that have an ear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. And promises like, If you overcome, you will not be hurt by the second death, and I’ll give you a new name, known only to the recipient. Warned not to let anyone take your crown. If you overcome, I’ll make you a pillar in the temple of My God. I’ll write upon them the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem which will come down out of heaven from My God; and I will write upon them My new name. Are you hearing what the spirit is saying unto the churches? If so, your name will not be blotted out of the book of life, and Jesus will confess our names before His father and before His angels.

With God giving this assurance “Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God beside me? Indeed there is no other Rock, I know not one,” Isaiah 44:8.

The problem with all this, is that, there is lots of liberating to do and far to few willing to make a situational response. We are not Muslims, thank God, so we don’t use violence. Tomorrow a discussion about despair being replaced by repair, as one of God’s ways.

Politics of a different kind from the Donald

Ordinary people generally find that a change of government simply means exchanging one master for another. A truth which is illustrated in the following little anecdote.

A timid old man was grazing his donkey in a meadow, when all of a sudden, he was alarmed by the shouting of some politicians. “Run for it,” he cried, “so that they don’t catch us.” But the donkey was in no hurry. “Tell me,” said he, “being that you’re a democrat, if I fall into the conqueror’s hands, do you think they’ll make me  carry a double load? I shouldn’t think so,” was the old man’s answer. “Then what matter to me what master I serve as long, as I only have to bear my ordinary burden?” (source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop-One Master As Good As Another)

O! Of kings and ministers, indeed their ego’s soar with presumptuous gaiety, as they assert themselves to be the voice of the people. But without exception, Democrat or Republican, neither is the voice of the people. They equally share a common purpose, which is, let them think that they will only have to carry their ordinary burdens.

Sam knows best whether in the State Houses or the White House, so they say. But we, the people know otherwise. We carry the excessive burdens of fixin what the politicians of both parties have broken. Without the benefits that our fixin tax dollars pay for. Because the benefits go to the politicians, special interest groups and the nations corporate conglomerates. As always, politicians look forward to mid-term elections. So that one party or the other hoping to secure additional power.

One gets a sense that there’s fear in the air, concerning presidential politics. Which is a fear of the peoples anger. Right they are! Lets pray that we the people can reverse that fear by  choosing a new president to succeed Obama. This Padre’s choice is Donald Trump!

They also say hope runs eternal. One hopes that the politicians fear of voter anger will only intensify and eventually erupt. And bring about a government of the people, and by the people. Now, wouldn’t that be novel.

It’s all wishful thinking, or as some say, it’s pie in the sky. How about a government from the sky, without the pie? With some ordinary and some not so ordinary people at the seat of power. With an ordinary guy, who did some rather extraordinary things seeing this extraordinary phenomenon. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness to Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads, or their hands. And they reigned with Christ a thousand years,” Revelation 20:4.

Now that’s a government worth respecting and anticipating. Even has the backing of the one who will bring it altogether and make it happen. Jesus said, when you pray, Matthew 6:7.” Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven,” Matthew 6:10. Hum, maybe there is hope for a peoples government on earth. No doubt though, it’ll also come with a cost.

Destiny decided in a moment

A young adventurous mouse was outside looking for someone to join him in play. The mouse came upon a frog, who joined the mouse in play. The mouse was to fast for the frog, and the play seemed unfair to the frog. So, the frog in a rare moment played a trick on the mouse. The frog tied its foot to the foot of the mouse. They made there way to a near pond. And the frog thought to itself, now we’ll see how well my friend plays in the water. The frog leaped into the water, and reveled in the water. Went to the bottom dragging the poor mouse along. The mouse swallowed to much water and drowned. Its bloated body made its way to the surface. A hawk flying above spotted it and snatched it up with its claws. The frog unable to free himself was also hoisted up with mouse. The hawk ate him too.

The moral of the story is that even in death evil deeds will be avenged. Nothing escapes the eyes of Divine justice. It weighs crimes in the balance and allots appropriate punishment. (source:Penguin Classics-Fables of Aesop)

Dedicated to the many, who have suffered an injustices. Because an injustice, is packaged differently from victim to victim. Some comfort perhaps, “Dearly beloved avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath; for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay says the Lord,” Romans 12:19.

“To Me belongs vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time. For the day of their calamity is at hand, and things that come upon them make haste,” Deuteronomy 32:35.

The problem with our species is that we often demand revenge soon, and the sooner, the better. Which sometimes puts us out of sink with God’s timing, because, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Be not hasty in your spirit to be angry; for anger rest in the bosom of fools,” Ecclesiastes 7:9-10.

And remember that God’s calendar for timing is sometimes equated as a day equaling a year, Numbers 14:34. In Ezekiel 4:6, God said, “I have appointed you each day for a year.” So one day would roll over 360 times according to the Jewish calendar for one year to pass. Peter wrote this. “But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, ‘that one day is with the Lord, is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day,”‘ 2 Peter 3:8.

What is important to know is the vengeance and recompense belongs to God according to his scheme of timing. The old adage proves true again, haste makes waste. Better to wait for their foot to slide because their calamity is already underway. It is just a matter of time, after all, who knows what anxiety rages inside such predators. It has been said, ‘a penny for your thoughts’ and such predatory thoughts could make one rich in justice alone. Evil lacks inward tranquility and is constantly plagued by anxiety in its place. It’s the root cause forcing Muslim violence.

Exquisite etiquette prerequisite for Muslim terror

Generally speaking, the Muslim community likes to present itself as a people of exquisite etiquette. Appearing to be just nice people, who want what every other person in American wants. Which is life, liberty and justice, but for Muslims it’s an artificial front, as a means to an end. The end result being absolute conformity to Islamic demands in every aspect of American culture.

Muslim behavior is governed by numbers. The greater their numbers in any community will correspond to their demands. They hoard themselves in their military fortresses that they call mosques. When they determine their numbers are large enough to coach conformity, they emerge to strike fear through terror. Niceness being the means while death is the end for non-Muslims. Study world events involving Muslims, and the pattern of niceness turned violet is rather striking.

Muslims in America, are not here wanting life, liberty and justice under God, the American way. They could care less about the American way. It’s the Islamic way through the Quar’an that they demand. Which they will live to die for, as is evident around the world.

Such behavior has been evident through out Europe, especially in France, Great Britain and Norway. Where their sheer numbers are enabling jihadist to emerge from Mosques with deadly force. When said countries, refuse to make concessions as demanded.

Americans can expect the same patterns to engulf the nation. It’s just a matter of time before the United States feels the European experience. But for now, their trump card remains exquisite etiquette.

What other patterns could emerge from Muslims. Who are ordered by the Qur’an to avoid friendships with non-Muslims. While at the same time being ordered to fight non-Muslims to their deaths. In civilized societies, treaties represents friendships between people and nations. Here is what the Quar’an teaches about such friendships and you! “The worst creatures in the sight of Allah are those who reject him (Allah) and who will not believe; who, wherever you make a treaty with them, break it, for they do not fear Allah. If you meet them in battle, make a fearsome example of them to those who come after them, so that they may take heed,” Qur’an book 8:53-57.

It’s from those verses where we learn that when Muslims do battle with non-Muslims. Fearsome examples are to be made of them. To the extent of embedding Islamic terror in their consciousness. That eventually societies will do any thing asked of them in order to avoid future thrashings.

What is to be learned is that there are different ways to extract fearsome battles scares upon those of us, who are non-Muslims. With one mode of battle being through exquisite etiquette. Which works this way, they blend themselves into communities with politeness while staying a comfortable distance. With Muslim children multiplying like mosquitoes upon stagnant water. Hoping that by their sheer numbers the battles to Islamitize the nation will require less violence. And of course, the Islamic cause is richly advanced, by the numbers of Islamic immigrants that keep coming to America by the thousands.

They work like ants building ant hills of military fortresses that dot the American landscape as mosques. Working quietly and secretly pretending to build those fortresses as centers of worship. When they are fortresses for war, enabling them at any given time to sweep across a community with devastating precession of violence. And then, retreat quickly to their ant hills. And as quickly, emerge condemning the insane violent behavior of a few. Pointing out that they don’t represent Islam. But those worker ants live, work and survive as one colony. A Muslim is a Muslim making them all dangerous. Don’t be tricked by their exquisite etiquette because it could mean your death.

How can it be any other way? When Islam teaches that lifestyles other than those sanctioned by the Qur’an represents decadency. Here we are talking about more than just dress and sexual preferences. It includes a primitive legal system, the confining of the function of woman in society back to the dark ages and completely redefining how commerce functions. With Islam not being an option to practice or reject, as it is in America today.

Our non-Muslim community here in America better wake up. Because shahadat or martyrdom by suicide bombers will sooner than latter knock on the American door step. As it has rocked, numerous communities around the world on a daily bases.

Concerned citizens might want to engage knowledge Jews and Christians in discussion type lectures. Who can teach the ins and outs about Islam and the threat it presents. With the ultimate end of ridding our selves of this Islamic menace. Interested? Hope so! Do a web search, and invite them, and learn how to kick start your Islamic eradication process.

War stalks America

The battle field has changed, as have the tactics of war. As a result of those changes, and tactics, many have difficulty in accepting that America is at war with the Islamic world. It’s a world war because the ultimate goal of Islam is to bring the world under Islamic governance.

For Americans, we are at war with our Muslim neighbors. The tactics have changed here also. Infiltrate peaceably, create, NO Go Zones, as recently discussed. Declare Islam to be a religion of peace. Despite the evidence throughout the United States and through out the world. Donald Trump has got it right when he announced how he would deal with Muslims in the United States and aboard.

And should Islam win this war, the consequences, will indeed be Nazi like. I could support those statements with ample documentation, as you can through web searches. For those alarmed, engage yourselves in the history of Islam. Your study will show you that Islam from its inception has always seen itself a power destined to dominate the world. Through Satan in our twenty first century Muslims just might realize their self determined destiny.

Know this! The United States can’t protect the country or the world community of nations. Because America, is complicit in seeing Islam for everything it is not. Blinded from seeing the most treacherous evil America has ever encountered on its own mainland or abroad. While having spent billions on a wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and now in Syria that can’t be won. What the President, and the Congress fail to understand is that while America is chasing demons there of supernatural origin. Americans are dying needlessly for a cause that should be prosecuted at home against Muslims. Not through violence but a thorough return to the nations judeo Christian heritage.

Muslims in America are busy building military fortresses that they call mosques. From which they emerge to attack us at random. Insulated by the freedom of religion clause in our Constitution. America needs a nation wide campaign to strip Islam of its status as a religion. Because, Islam is a political/judicial system of extreme oppression. Which uses the camouflage of religion, as a war strategy.

Next: How it’s done. How Muslim stalking of America wins.

A nation that accepts gay unions pictorially doomed

America, America the magnificent once the alabaster box of power, prosperity and spirituality. Accomplishing it against seemingly impossible odds. Having left all that behind because it has been said, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Here is how it is playing out in America.

Your story America! For they are a nation void of counsel. Nor is there any understanding in them. Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this. That they would consider their latter end. How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had surrendered them?

For their rock is not like our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges. For their vine of Sodom, and the fields of Gomorrah; their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter. Their wine is the poison of serpents, and the cruel venom of cobras.

Is this not laid up with Me, sealed up among my treasures? (Text:Deuteronomy 32:28-34, NKJV).

A two way street of recollection of American exceptionality and destruction. It’s the call of the people. Shall America return to the former or continue with the latter?

Like out of nowhere, it goes like this. Vengeance is mine, and recompense; their foot shall slip in time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them. (Text:Deuteronomy 32:35, NKJV)).

In due time from the ancient past to us, but maybe not before ample suffering because we allowed it to happen. Rejoice O Gentiles with His people. For He will avenge the blood of His servants, and render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people. (Text:Deuteronomy 32:43, NKJV).

Scalia v Jay a worry come true

The Supreme Court justices have been sucked into a vacuum of nothingness along with their compadres in congress and the oval office. These self serving conglomerates do not represent the historical record of the nations founders and builders.

The nations third president, Thomas Jefferson, was responding to a letter he had received from a resident of the state of Massachusetts. Mr. Jarvis argued that Judges were the ultimate arbiters in all constitutional matters. Jefferson seemed to think that such a notion was erroneous. And replied that he knew of “no safe depository of ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves.” (Source:Jefferson biographer, Dumas Malone, Volume 6, Jefferson and His Time:The Sage of Monticello).

Chief Justice, Jon Jay assumed such distinction by virtue of his appointment by President George Washington, as the nations first chief justice. Wrote a letter in 1797, to Rev. DR. Jedidiah Morse, and said, “It is to be regretted, but so I believe the fact to be that except the Bible there is not a true history in the world. What ever may be the virtue , the discernment, and industry of the writers, I am persuaded that truth and error (though in different degrees) will imperceptibly become and remain mixed and blended until they shall be separated forever the great and last refining fire.” On, 28 February 1797, he also wrote, “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” (Source:Columbia University).

To decree or legislate differently is to curse God!

Christians know the issues and should arm themselves with historical truths and biblical power in order to make things right.

Because America was, “The salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing, but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men,” Matthew 5:13. And, the process is well underway. End it!

2 each their own & their own each shall get

Once there was this guy, who had a very strange notion, at least by today’s opinions. Here’s some stuff about a governor, who saw America through a lens that seemed to resonate with people. Today such a notion might seem rather repulsive to a vast number of people. Seasons change and so do the times. To each their own, and their own each shall get.

Our guy governed a colony for twelve years which would later become the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Though his lens he envisioned this for his colony, and eventually America saw it as their destiny. His name John Winthrop. “We must consider that we shall be a city on a hill (hill a reference to these words, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden,” Matthew 5:14). The eyes of all people are upon us, a reference to Matthew 5:15, “Neither do men light a lamp, and put it under a bushel, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light unto all that are in the house. So that if we deal falsely with our God in His work that we have undertaken that causes Him to withdraw His present help from us. We shall be made a story and a byword through the world.” “A byword through the world,” another reference to our sacred scriptures, this time from Deuteronomy 28:37, “And though shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among the nations to which the LORD shall lead you.”

Yep! The seasons change and so do the times. Indeed! 2 each their own and their own each shall get. America, America, are you becoming Winthrop’s nightmare?

Rules of Marriage

What you are about to read can not be understood by employing human reasoning as to what seems fair. Because the reasoning, as to what is fair occurs by supernatural transformation. From which this transformation occurs, “For we are members of His body, of His flesh and His bones,” Ephesians 5:30. Then one realizes marriage can not as spiritual occurrence be between two men or two women. It’s unfathomable to human rationality. How is it possible that a believer in Christ can assume the body of Christ? Humanly speaking, it’s impossible. But God says it is so, and so it is. And the same applies to marriage, as we shall see.

But first, the secular perspective which has some truth because of its fruits. Because the issues are between a man and a woman. But now secularism through the personages of its branches of government has decided the same applies between same sex couples.

“The happy State of Matrimony is undoubtedly, the surest and most lasting Foundation of Comfort and Love; the Source of all endearing Tenderness and Affection which arises from Relation Affinity; the grand Point of Property; the cause of all good order in the World, and what alone preserves it from Confusion; and to sum up all, the Appointment of Infinite Wisdom for these great and good Purposes,” Benjamin Franklyn, Rules and Maxims for Promoting Matrimonial Happiness, 1730.

And confirmed, and enhanced with this declaration by our miracle enabling God, “Therefore shall a man leave his father, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh,” Genesis 2:24; Jesus asked, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh?'” “So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate,” Mathew 19:4-6.

And God will have no mercy upon a people, or nation who subverts His holy edicts. Be they in regards to marriage or otherwise. Here is a promise from God Almighty. “Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows that he will also reap. For he that sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he that sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life,” Galatians 6:7-8. Beware America!

Oh God spare me a last breath

Think! at this very moment, all over the world. Millions who, are drawing their last breath now know this truth. “The days of our years are three score and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years; yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away, Psalms 90:10.  With perhaps that last grasp of breath as it evaporates or fly’s away. As a last thought, why didn’t we number our days, that we might have applied our hearts unto wisdom, Psalms 90:12.

What the dying, might suspect is that there is a God. Because the God who gave the first breath, is the only one capable of with drawing it. Because death is separation from God, symbolized by the grave. And learned from the previous discussion.

Hopefully this is understood by many. If not, you are encouraged to engage yourself in a study of our holy scriptures concerning the topic. After all, that is the best way to come to an understanding of what God wants you to know.

Beginnings-Endings

Indeed life is about choices we make. But there is a commonality among us, that excludes choice. It’s a time line that the Psalmist puts this way, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if, reason of strength, they be fourscore years, yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away,” Psalms 90:10. And that in capsule form, is what our existence amounts to, as we travel that time line.

But some of us want more, as did the writer of the Old Testament book of Job which is to live again. Who presented his case as follows, “People who are born of a woman exist but a few days. And they are full of troubles. They come forth as flowers, only to be cut down. They flee as a shadow and do not continue,” Job 14:1-2.

Then Job asked the eternal question. Which has fallen from the lips of most, if not all, at some time or another. “If a man dies, shall he live again?” But, with this intrinsic awareness. “All the days of appointed time will I wait, till my change comes.” Job 14:14. And it will come for the dead, as well, as for the living.

Because we have this scriptural declaration, “You shall call, and I will answer You. You shall desire the work of Your hands, (accountability Revelation 22:12), Job 14:15. And that should give cause for everyone, to give careful consideration for the kind of life choices we make.

Two historic events wait there occurrence on God’s time line. Both which sing the mercy, that no person should perish, but that everyone should have eternal life.

John was privileged to witness future history in two segments. The first is an event begging for fulfillment. It will be a gala of a celebration. First God’s reward for the many, who had been executed for being faithful with their witness for Jesus and the Word of God. Refusing to worship the beast or receive his mark. They reigned with Christ, on those thrones for a thousand years, Revelation 20:4.

While at the same time John saw others, who had also been been faithful to Christ through out history, but remained in their graves. At the end of those thousand years. People dead for a long time, some more recent or even almost immediate. Were brought back to life, and this is referred to as the first resurrection, Revelation 20:5.

But the second resurrection brings hope to the many, who scoffed at all this God talk. Often making fun of such talk and ignoring any necessity for the Christ demand of personal repentance from sin. With absolute belief upon him, as ones redeemer and Savior. Which also dates way back, before the first advent of Christ. Including all the children to young to have made a conscious decision regarding the acceptance or denial of Christ. Along with all the ramifications, as to what it means to be human.

It was put this way, John was told not to seal the words of this book; for the time is at hand, Revelation 22:10. Then God in his everlasting mercy, will reach out to them one last time even after their death. People of all ages, irrespective of race, gender, ethnicity, or creed. They will be given that one last opportunity to repent and believe.

Standing before the Bright and Morning Star of all new beginnings, the Christ of Revelation 22:16. Inviting those not to reject his last plea to come and freely drink. With the Spirit and the Bride (believing Christians) saying, Come! And let them that are thirsty come. And whoever will, let them take the water and drink freely, Revelation 22:17.

Even at this stage of life, it’s about choice. Though the end of life from the Psalmist declaration in Psalms 90:10 had occurred. Death offers a second chance at life. But another negative choice will result in the second death and the grave (hades) which had spared them could no longer, and they were cast into the lake of fire. That is the second death, Revelation 20:14. All because it is recorded, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire,” Revelation 20:15. As recorded in Revelation 20:14, the second death is a permanent state of unconsciousness and nothingness. In other words extinction with God showing his mercy. Meaning there will be no eternal damnation in hell begging for all eternity for just a drop of water.

Today is all about yesterday

Ever hear someone say something intriguing like this. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own troubles,” Jesus Christ, prior to AD 50.

Just how do such statements play out in practical terms for you and me? Here’s a short journey into the archives of history. Which sheds lots of insights into ones spiritual journey.

A young king had ascended to the throne of Israel, by the name of Solomon. He was young and inexperienced, so God appeared to him, on a particular night. And said to him, ask, what shall I give you? 2 Chronicles 1:7.

First Solomon showed humility and gratitude towards God. Then he asked, “Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come before this people; for who can judge this peoples of yours,” 2 Chronicles 1:8-10.

And God replied to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked for riches, or wealth, or honor, or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge to judge my people whom I have made you king,” 1 Chronicles 1:11.

Now consider this carefully in relationship to the statements Jesus made. “Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I shall give you riches and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like,” 2 Chronicles 1:12.

An archival journey into esoteric occurrences which hopefully will make such occurrences less esoteric.
