The Law of Talk

March 8th, 2010

“Nothing so strongly impels a man to regard the the interest of his constituents, as the certainty of returning to the general mass of the people from whence he was taken, where he must participate in their business,” George Mason, July 1788, to the Virginia Ratifying Convention.

With their constituents today consisting of the nations corporate conglomerates. Who really are the nations power brokers, but whose authority to govern is no where found in our Constitution. Proving one truth that a congress person can make the constitution say anything. But the people can not, and that really needs to change.

Which is why, President Obama, (the man who said, yes we can, and millions believed him, with most being very disappointed), Senate Majority Leader, Sen. Reid, and Speaker of the House, Rep. Pelosi, all talk the good talk but can not legislate their talk into law. That is for the benefit of the people.

The same Law of Talk applies to the other side of the isle, also, and even more so. Because their corporate constituents will not allow them, and if they do, from whence they were plucked they shall be returned.

That is why the nations method of taxation is so unfair. Favoring those upon the top rung of the ladder. Who are willing, and able to crush the fingers of those struggling to earn their daily bread, one day at a time. And doing so with impunity, as a right of natural law.

Wages historically in the U.S. are barely sufficient for survival. Whatever the workers have in wages and benefits, much blood has been shed to provide them. Wages should be by law indexed to the cost of living and rise in accordance with the rate of inflation. To make up the cost difference, corporate America should pick up the tab with greater taxation. Two things would occur. First workers would earn a livable wage. And corporate America and their government servants would keep inflation in check. Economic crisis is the result of those two culprits screwing up the economy through greed and mismanagement.

This phenomenon is clearly visible through the current health care debate. The solution is simple but impossible because those in charge do want the health care fixed. It’s the Law of Talk at work again. What is needed is a single payer health care plan for each American. Funded by the government and paid for by corporate America. The they’ll work to keep the cost of inflation in check. Doing away with the health care bureaucracy responsible for much of the nations inflationary troubles. As it stands today, health care is all about profits. And the denying of medical care as often as possible. Often enough to cause many their lives.

They argue that they can not not afford to pay for such unnecessary extravagance for the American people. No doubt they have created a debt that the nation may never find be able to eliminate. But they should be held accountable and not the people, who did not create the debt, but are saddled paying for it. We need our pound of flesh for such incompetence. In the meantime they can stop spending our money on wars this government can not win. Eliminate the billions spent on foreign aid. Because it’s *BRIBE* money. Money given to nations, who in return allow the United States to have military bases on their soil. Foreign aid is about empire building. With that money being used to create the kind of health care we need.

Now all that is simplistic, but this writer, is available to fill in the details between the lines. Find this clergyman through the navigation link and click upon the ‘contact us’ tab. And one of us will make the case for a new America.
