God’ greatest challenge

February 7th, 2010

Like you and me, God also had to show some resiliency to his character in order to meet an unprecedented challenge. His kingdom was under attack. In the end the culprit and his associates were booted out of the realm of the Holiest of the Holy, our creator and defender. Read about it in Revelation 12:7-9. With verse nine being the embodiment of our earthly troubles. Which reads, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

How powerful is Satan? From Isaiah 14:15-16, we discover these facts. There will come a time when Lucifer, son of the morning, who weakened the nations, (verse 12). Who will be dispatched to the pits of hell (verse 15). But in the mean time, he is characterized as the one, who made the earth tremble, who did shakes kingdoms (governments) verse 16.

And who is preoccupied on earth, hoping, no doubt to shake to there death God’s chosen embodied in the nations of Israel and the United States. But God as our defender has ordained, despite our combined sins. Has promised, “For Zions (Israel) sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s (capital city) sake, I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her salvation as a lamp burns,” Isaiah 62:1.

Stand with Israel because that is the way for personal and national survival! It’s recorded in the book that so many despise which is the root of America’s national and falling stature globally. Comes these words from the Holy One of Israel and the United States which we refer to as our Judea-Christian heritage. An eternal bond between two inseparable people. And, “I will bless them that bless you, and curse them that curse you; and in you (Israel) shall all families of the earth be blessed,” Genesis 12:3

Our people, and its government struggle to exhaustion to find fixes for our combined struggles. Our personal dilemma’s are as tiring as are national and international ones. When we have the reason, and purpose for what ails us as individuals, and a nation just spelled out and with the solution. With one word that epitomizes the cure. Found in Isaiah 62:1, which is the word ’salvation,’ then what plagued us before God, will unite us with God. And the salvation of our lamp will burn again as a bright light. Meaning two things, first a personal relationship with Jesus Christ or God (John 10:30). Accomplished by confessing ones sins and acknowledging the process of John 3:16-18. It will produce the newness of life found in 2 Corinthians 5:17. And then a return to honor our Judea-Christian heritage, as individuals and a nation starting with Genesis 12:3.
