The Bright and Morning Star

February 1st, 2010

The Word the most powerful instrument on the face of the globe. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” John 1:1. With Jesus being God because he said so, “I and my Father are one,” John 10:30. The Word traveled forward centuries. Blessing many, and cursing even more, the curse, Revelation 12:9. Here it is, “I have given them your Word and the world has hated them because they are not of this world even as I am not of this world,” John 17:14. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen,” Philemon 1:25, as you read on!

Many advantages exist for us, who are not of this world. Like the following, “And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and supplication,” Zechariah 12:10a. That is a prophecy for the end time, but it has meaning for us in Christ and its found in Revelation 22:16b, “I am the root of David, and the Bright and Morning Star. Which takes us back to Zechariah 12:10b, ” and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one is in bitterness for his first born.” Because he was wounded and bruised because of our transgressions, and from that fatal process we have peace and are healed, Isaiah 53:5.

And we in Christ know that we have been sent to testify unto the churches, Revelation 22:16a, our sorrows as shared with the prophet Zechariah in chapter 12:10, with the bitterness for the loss of a firstborn. Hoping to wake up a sleeping church to combat the evils of society that would crush his church. Because Christ was badgered and bloodied because of us, Revelation 19:13. Now redeemed, we must bring the world to it knees through the preaching of the gospel while there is time, Matthew 24:14. With bitterness for the loss of God’s first born which the redeemed share. Our duty is to pick up his cross and put aside our self interests, Mark 8:34b, then fight to convince the world of their need to repent and become part of the redeemed, Ephesians 2:1. Because of the treacherous influences of yesterday, Ephesians 2:2.

But that together, and you’ll be one up when it comes to understanding word events. Because the dead know nothing which is the power of sin, Ephesians 2:1. Putting the world is in a state of mean and angry resistance. Resulting in global chaos for individuals and nation states.

“Grace to you and peace, from God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ,” Philemon 1:3.
